  Joshua's apartment was the perfect place for us to stay. Prospect Park with the Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Gardens are basically around the corner. There are lots of wonderful coffee shops and restaurants nearby and Joshua's recommendations were extremely helpful when making choices and exploring the area.   We really enjoyed the cleanliness, spaciousness and decor of this apartment. The location was convenient since it was close to subway stops but also it was situated close to the Botanical garden and the walk there and beyond to different neighborhoods was really lovely. The amenities were great and the place was very warm and welcoming especially the living room.   My stay at Joshua's place was wonderful. The apartment is incredibly roomy and has great decor. The bed was comfy, the bathroom spotless and Joshua's decor is very cool. I enjoyed his books and DVD collection during my stay, which was a nice bonus. The guy has good taste! I found the location worked really well as I could take a 20-minute walk to see a friend in Park Slope and the subway was convenient. I noticed a few other reviews mentioned the subway train noise.   I want to start off by saying we had a great trip visiting our daughter and enjoying the sights of NYC - especially being part of the 70th b'day celebration of John Lennon at Strawberry Fields!!   The unit was ready at the agreed time and very clean. Joshua showed me around the unit and made sure I had everything I needed. The unit was large enough for 3 of us and very close to the subway that takes you into the city. Overall a great experience.

  The one bedroom was unusually spacious for New York, even the kitchen. Quite clean and comfortable. Great location near Prospect Park, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanica Garden, and several other Brooklyn neighborhoods. The kitchen was very well equipped, lots of sundries available if you wanted to cook (we opted to go out, except for coffee and fruit in the mornings).   We had a great time in Josh's apartment! He provided an excellent map of the neighborhood with recommended places to eat, drink and play. We only ended up making breakfast a few time (too many great places to eat!) but his kitchen was stocked with all the basic staples and at least one good knife which I have been completely at a loss to find in most rentals.   My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Joshua's apartment. The space is wonderful, and filled with endless amounts of interesting bits of culture, architecture, and of course literature. Subway stations were within two blocks making it a convenient location. The Brooklyn Flea, the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, the farmers market, and the Brooklyn library and museum were all within walking distance.   I don't think the pictures do this place justice. It was a wonderful stay that felt like home. God, he brought breakfast on our last day (may not happen for everyone :). And what a great bed this guy has, and I love the little jars he turned into glasses. I would stay again!!!
