  We stayed in Shell & Austin's apartment with our 8 months old daughter. The apartment was absolutely perfect- clean, comfortable and in such a good (and baby-friendly!) location. Shell and Austin were such friendly and helpful hosts and we loved their recommendations for favourite restaurants and shops in the area. We would definitely love to stay again during our next visit New York.

  We felt so lucky to have found this pad because it truly felt like a home away from home. A neighborhood that is fun, quiet and safe, two bedrooms (one for us and another for our 7-year old), cozy meals in a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, and a comfortable walking distance from the L train.   Austin and Shell's place lived up to expectations and more!!! The flat itself was amazing with everything you could possibly need. The personalised suggestions of places to go were brilliant- we loved la superior!! Location couldn't have been better, Williamsburg itself was sooo cool and had everything you could possibly need with amazing places to eat, drink and shop.   We had 4 excellent days at Shell & Austin's Wiliamsburg Apartment. After a long flight we were given a warm welcome by Shell who was very friendly and helpfull(great suggestions for restaurants and bars in neighbourhood) She had even bought a small bed and presents for our three year old daughter!   Three girlfriends and I recently stayed in Austin and Shell's lovely Williamsburg apartment for three weeks. We had the most amazing time in New York City and having such a beautiful apartment to stay in definitely contributed to this positive experience.   We really enjoyed staying at the apartment of Austin and Shell. It is spacious, well furnished, and has everything one could ask for. It is "friendly" and inviting. We enjoyed browsing some of the art books. A book on Russian art brought back memories of my (Arun) stay with a family in St Petersburg in 1991!   Such a lovely stay. The apartment is very clean, fresh and cozy. The ac works great, but we just opened the windows and let a soft breeze flow through the house. One of my favorite locations in the city and Shelly was so nice and helpful. I look forward to having my guests stay there again. If they ever move out, I want the apartment! Thanks so much!

  We felt immediately at home in Shell & Austin's apartment. It has style, comfort & great Arts books! Shell gave us good tips for restaurants, shops, art shows and very accurate information on subway lines, taxi fares. The location is perfect, minutes away from Manhattan and the rest of Brooklyn.   Shell & Austin are wonderful hosts. Their apartment is lovely, homely and incredibly comfortable! Shell made us feel very welcome and at home immediately. The apartment is in an amazing neighbourhood, and Shell gave us lots of great advice about where to shop, and get amazing and great vintage and new clothes, where to go out and where to eat, and get a great brunch!   We spent good holidays in Austin/shell's home. Shell is homey and warm. The appartment is comfortable, warm, and a fabulous starting point to visit NY, at few minutes of Manhattan, Union Square or Canal St. Williamsburg is a great place to be out, restaurants and bars.   I loved staying with Shell and Austin- they were so friendly and hospitable and their appartment is wonderful and in a fantastic neighbourhood. They were extremely warm and generous hosts and I hope to see them again next time I am in New York- I cannot recommend their place highly enough. Stay with them, you will love it!

  I couldn't agree more with the previous reviews! Me and my partner really felt at home while staying with Austin & Shell. They were both super friendly and always willing to give the most interesting tips for visiting the city. The location of the apartment is excellent: just minutes away from manhattan and also great for further exploration of brooklyn. The neighbourhood itself is an interesting and great place to stay. We would go back anytime!

  Staying with Shell and Austin made my trip to NYC! Beyond being friendly, gracious and making sure I had everything I needed (including cookies!), Shell was a wealth of knowledge about Brooklyn and New York. The neighborhood was awesome, and the location was central to everything from restaurants and clubs to a grocery store and laundromat. It felt like a home away from home staying with them. Stay with them!

  Austin and Shell were delightful host's and had lots of great information on where to go out and eat etc. None of that touristy rubbish. Kept it real!!! Lovely people and a lovely place in a good location next to everything you could want and more!! Thanks for a magical time you two!! I will be sure to look you up next time I am in Brooklyn.
