My name is Nick McGlynn, I am 29 years old and a Virgo. I was born in New York City on the Upper East Side, grew up in Westport CT and now live in Forest Hills Queens. I have also lived in Santa Monica CA. and New Orleans LA.

I love to travel. My most recent adventure was a motorcycle trip across the country! I have a 1993 Honda Nighthawk 750 and also a Vespa LX150. I have owned many other vehicles including a 1974 Kells Sailboat and 1964 Yellowstone Trailer.

I currently work for PepsiCo as their Social Media Coordinator, and I also do freelance event photography for various companies including my own site (website hidden) I also previously worked at Gawker Media and I throw a monthly media event called Obliterati.

I went to college at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn for “Digital Media & Design” and also for “Industrial Design.” I love to build and design things, and come up with wacky inventions. I also love to take photos and make videos!

I love gadgets, design and photography. I also have a bunch of blogs about different stuff. I think I'm on pretty much every internet social network, but I definitely get away from the computer often! I love to go camping, swimming, skiing and biking! I love outdoor activities and I'm always down to go on a road trip or random adventure! I have traveled all over the country and some places abroad and done it on a budget.

I mostly hang out in Manhattan and go to Media, and Tech parties. When I'm not out and about I like to lay around my apartment and watch TV. I love talking and meeting new people, and I'm always up for hanging out, making new friends or doing something exciting!

Nick and Liz stayed for one night and were very easy to share my home with. Both very neat, friendly and fun to talk to. They are always welcome back. They also had some very good suggestions for me, which I implemented. They were the first to stay in my SmallRoom.

Oh, and by the way, he knows pretty much everyone in the digital world and is reputed to be not only a fine rider of motorcycles but also a sailor of ships. I met Nick while travelling in California - and discovered we were both from the same place, across town back home in Manhattan, as often happens in this tiny world. Nick was a great travel companion - we explored Santa Monica and Venice for a few days and had a blast. I don't know if he makes his bed in the morning, but I would rent him my place without hesitation.
