Joep helps businesses and governments quantify environmental performance to make sure everything adds up. He is Dutch and married a Texan lady and moved to Austin in 2006. It is a great city with day trips galore. Just think of all the wineries, hikes, Hill Country, barbecue and the lakes. Austin has many gems itself. We are foodies, so just ask what you need and we will find you a cool place to go! Courtney is a yoga teacher and loves to cook using what our garden has to offer.

Our stay with Joep & Courtney was due to a wedding being held nearby & reception at the Barr Mansion. The location was the perfect distance between the two. Because of our schedule we used the place as a crash pad after a full day of events. Thanks to our hosts for everything! The space was delightful, clean, and the hosts were very engaging. Our only problem was in the 104 degree heat of Austin, the air conditioner left the house on the warm side.

Staying with Joep and Courtney was such a pleasure. They were incredibly hospitable and informative and they were fantastic with our 15 month old daughter. Their home is lovely and the guest bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Austin which had a lot to do with Joep and Courtney. We couldn't recommend this place enough.

Joep and Courtney are a delightful couple. Their peaceful and relaxed home made a weekend business trip to Austin a welcome change from the traditional hotel experience. My room and private bath were very comfortable and, while their home has convenient access to I-35, it was very quiet.

Joep and Courtney were very good host. It's a clean, safe and healthy environment. The breakfast room was the highlight with fresh bread, teas and coffee, and local produce and a nice open room and porch on which to relax. We would recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone.

These two were such nice hosts! It was my girlfriend's birthday and they helped me get a cake and a gift for her! They were so nice we are seriously considering a new life in Austin! I highly recommend them if you need a place to stay!

Courtney and Joep are very nice hosts. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, with everything needed, including fresh fruits and organic cereals, and a cappuccino-machine! The house is located in a quite and very green neighborhood.

They were very friendly and hospitable, and went out of their way to make lists of area restaurants for me, along with and other nice touches. Reasonably priced morning yoga sessions with Courtney were much appreciated. Their home is a very inviting place to stay, especially if you're into eco stuff because they're very conservation-oriented and Joep is an environmental consultant.

Courtney and Joep were delightful! The accommodations were very clean, neat, comfortable and private. Communication was great. We had a wonderful experience and felt like we'd made 2 new friends when we left. Our stay with Courtney and Joep was wonderful! They are very nice and all of our needs were met. They gave us some great advice on places to eat and see. From the first night it was like staying with friends. We loved the bright breakfast room that overlooks the backyard below. Overall very charming home and gracious hosts.

I stayed at Joep and Courtney's Austin home in August and was thrilled with the spotless accommodations. The room was large and private with a comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. The best feature was the deck which overlooked the back yard garden. The kitchen has a sunny alcove which was the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning and peek at the yards of neighboring homes. Joep and Courtney were fantastic guests! We had to leave town the day after they arrived and had no hesitations leaving the place to them. They were clean, kind, respectful, and super easy to get along with. Totally open to experience anything and everything.
