Stayed at Ricky's place for 4 nights. It is a small apartment well located near central park and one block away from the subway. Also the neighberhoods feels safe. Ricky is a very nice host. The room is clean and near loads of not too expensive restaurants/cafes. The next metro station is very close (not even 5 min walk) as well. We really enjoyed our stay there!

I am grateful to Enrique for accepting me to stay at his place with my 2 children, it was a last minute decision and I was glad he was so kind. A clean and nice apartment in the middle of Manhattan! A very nice neighbourhood(upper west side) and filmlocations such as from 'You've got mail' in the same street! Enrique is a friendly host and tries to make your stay as good as possible. Nothing negative really, also a lot of restaurants in the street. I can definetly reconmend to stay at Enrique's place!

The place was very clean, in a great location and Ricky was reliabe. He was out of town while I was staying there so I only met him briefly but he was very friendly and made sure I had someone I could contact in the city if I had any problems. We stayed in Ricky's apartment on Upper West side for 3 nights. The apartment is small but very clean. The shower is tiny but it did the job. The location is fantastic , just round the corner from Central Park, and very close to Subway B/C as well as 1/2/3. We have met Ricky and Lily very briefly, they both seem very nice. if you're looking for literally a place to sleep than it's all you need.

Staying at Ricky's is a big plus in NY. The house is clean and comfortable, the location is perfect, you have the subway and Central Park one block away and lots of restaurants in the area. I just got back from NYC two days ago. It was really great staying at Ricky's. The location is perfect. It is like a block away from the subway. The bathroom is quite small but clean. The bed is comfortable. Ricky is really nice to me and friend. He is good at cooking, and YES, he coooked for us. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!

Ricky's place is truly great location-wise: 2 blocks away from B/C line and right by Central Park and American History Museum, aka in the heart of Upper West. Excellent! We really had such a good time while staying in Ricky's apartment... Everything clean. Perfect location! just as we thought it would be! If you are thinking about staying here, I recommend it 100%!! The subway entrance is just like a block from Ricky's, so transportation throughout the city won't be a problem if you stay here!! Moreover, Central Park is right in the next street!! Perfect for walking and having nice photo spots of Manhattan!

My fiancee and I stayed at Ricky's place in January and had a great time. The location is convenient to essentially everything you'd want to see - especially with the straightforward and efficient metro system. The place is tiny, but otherwise very clean, and contains everything you'll need for a short stay in NYC. As Ricky was away the weekend we were there, we had the whole place to ourselves. It was great to have a place to come 'home' to after a long day of exploring.

Ricky is a friendly laid back guy. He's really helpful with local info (like where to catch the express to South Ferry Liberty trips etc., or where to find decent Chinese food). I've stayed with Ricky, Lily, and Nathan for three days. I'm going to say that it was pretty nice. The room was comfortable, the bathroom and restroom are quite small, but it's also clean and fine. If you would like to come back during the day to aprt and have a rest, it's also pretty good place. Ricky and Lily are really great host, very friendly. Nathan is so lovely. The location is very convenient and safe that we work through central park to visit MMA. Subway is in 3min walk. Ricky and Lilly were wonderful hosts with a lovely son. The location was fantastic, easy to get to from all areas and a great neighborhood. The room is surprisingly quiet and the apartment close to Central Park for nice strolling and people watching.

Ricky and Lily were wonderful hosts nothing was too difficult for them. They were accommodating and gave us information that was helpful. Even though we shared a bathroom with them we didn't feel uncomfortable. Nathan seems to love company and was not the cause of any sleep deprivation. The location was the best! Very easy to get to. Ricky and Lily are great hosts! They are very friendly and can make you feel very comfortable. Nathan is the greatest. Wish there was more time to spend there. The apartment is in a great location. Easy to get from there to anywhere you want in Manhattan (also Brooklyn). To get to the shower / bathroom you have to go through the second bedroom, but with Ricky and Lily it wasn't such a problem. We enjoyed our stay in New York very much. Ricky was very hospitable, friendly, and offered a lot of suggestions to do. The location is great, close to the subway, lots of restaurants to choose from, minutes from Central Park, the area was safe, and the apartment was clean. The shower and bath are in separte closets and in Lily and Ricky's room. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Ricky's place is at one of the best locations in NYC. It's really safe, one night we arrived to the apparment at 2 AM and other time we left at 5 AM, eventually you only find elegant people walking their dog. My fiance and I enjoyed every minute of NYC, and the fact that we had a cozy, very quiet apartment to sleep in made the hectic pace of New York bearable to us, as we were very stressed out and were moving when we got back from vacation. Just steps away from Central Park, lots of Restaurants & Bars in Columbus & Amsterdamm Ave. They do everything to make you feel home and Ricky knows a lot about the City. The location is perfect! It's near A,C,B,D subway line and also not too far away from 1,2,3. Ricky gave us a lot helpful information, such as subways, shopping rate and airport shuttle van. The only downside is the small size and sharing washroom. Their baby is super cute!!! All in all, it's a great budget place.

The location is perfect...a block away from central park and the Museum of Natural Civilization. Ricky was a good host, he gave us a tour of city upon our first day of arrival. He always gave us great tips and directions and even offered the use of his bicycle for central park. The only downside of the place is its small size and shared bathroom, but the low price and teriffic location in the best area of manhatten makes up for it! Overall, it was a great stay!

In one of the best parts of the city, with the park, fresh air and a favourite museum right next door, I was glad to find a sweet little room waiting, clean and comfortable. Ricky & Lily are wonderful hosts. They are extremely friendly and very laid back. Their spot is just a short walk from the Central Park. They are close to the C and/or 1 train. I walked to museums, central park, shops and restaurants. If you are looking for a really good location, this is the spot. Ricky wasn't there because he was visiting family out of state, but he made sure I was good. He checked in twice to make sure I was set up and had everything ok. New York, the locals way.
