He's Vinh, and I'm Stuart...

We're big fans of AirBnB having used it when traveling in the USA not long after AirBnB first started.

Since then we've enjoyed traveling with AirBnB across the US, around Australia, and also in Vietnam.

As guests we're always out & about most of the time and won't be intruding too much.

We're neat & tidy and vibrant conversationalists...

We're business coaches and small business owners.

My partner Vinh is a keen traveler who works a lot with artists and designers in his coaching practice. He's the energetic, vibrant one...

I lived in Bolivia for a year as a young man just out of school and have worked in social enterprises and not for profits over the years. I'm the more serious, bookish one (with a wicked sense of humour though). Currently working in financial services too...

One of the things we're keen to do is catch up with some social entrepreneurs, not for profits, and microfinanciers, while we're in town...

We're particularly interested social enterprise. and small business incubators & mentoring projects.

My first time using airbnb..indeed opened a new way of destination accommodation for me. Vinh & Stuart provided good detailed directions to help me arrive at their home without getting lost! Loved their place, great location, (2 mins walk away from The Star). Very tidy and beautifully kept place and my attic room was very cosy and nice view from the windows too. Vinh and Stuart are gracious hosts and their home is both lovely and convenient. My wife and I stayed here at the end of our month-long honeymoon and found it a welcome place to relax after busy days exploring Sydney. We had an enjoyable stay with Vinh and Stuart. We were busy for most of the time we were in Sydney so we didn't get much of a chance to hang out with them, but they seemed friendly and were accommodating. We slept very well in the house, it's got a peaceful atmosphere and there doggie kijji is the cutest ever.

Vinh, Stuart and Kenji have a lovely place a short hop, skip and jump from all that is Sydney. Whilst we were out and about for most of the time it was great to have a comfy bed and good company to come back to. Next time we're in Sydney we'd most certainly consider staying with them again! Fabulous stay with Vinh and Stuart, although short. We arrived just before New Years eve and got on really well with both hosts. Vinh and Stuart really make your stay special, and their dog Kenji is just adorable. It is a luxurious place and we loved our own little space up in the attic. Nous avons beaucoup apprecie notre sejour a Sydney grace a la qualite de l'accueil. L'emplacement est ideal pour decouvrir Sydney et nous avons d'ailleurs visite la ville a pied, sauf pour une escapade a Manly. Nos hotes ont tout fait pour rendre notre sejour agreable et confortable. Le quartier de Pyrmont est reposant et on a un peu l'impression d'etre dans un village.

Excellent location, minutes to Darling Harbor and downtown Sydney. Friendly hosts. Alot of good restaurants nearby and the Sydney Fish Market is so closed to the B&B. Cute little dog named Kimchi. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Vinh and Stuart's place.

We returned for a 2nd time within a week after a negative experience with a different air b and b place. Fortunately Vinh and Stuart were able to accomodate us at short notice as the room we previously stayed in was free. Again, like the previous stay with them, the experience was fabulous. We loved their "little" home, their dog Kenji, the cleanliness of their home, fellow guests, and of course the location. If you want a fantastic stay and want to feel like at home, this is the place!

These guys are so great... We have been in their house for 3 nights over Christmas and made us so much pleasure to met people so open and friendly! We found Vinh and Stuart to be delightful hosts, and my wife fell in love with their dog "Kenji", their sweet and quiet Pomeranian. He really helped her overcome the longing she had for our dog waiting for our return. The flat is in an excellent location and we would recommend these accommodations to anyone looking for an authentic Sydney experience. I stayed at Vinh+Stuart's while I got my bearings in Sydney. It was a perfect location, and I felt very welcome in their quiet, cozy home. I enjoyed my stay and slept very well in my aerie! Vinh was very friendly, helpful, and patient with me and my jet-lag. (I didn't meet Stuart, as he was out of town during my stay.) It was a great way to start my Australian adventure. I'd love to stay here again on my next visit to Sydney!

Great location. A few minutes from downtown, but yet far enough that it was really quiet place to come back to after a busy day walking all over Sydney. Our hosts were friendly and being able to have breakfast there before heading off for the day was great. We had a wonderful stay with Vinh (Stuart was out on business). Their house is tastefully decorated with a view to the water, clean, comfortable, and easy access to the city center. Vinh is very friendly and helpful with good advice how to go about the city. We enjoyed our stay and conversation with him, and have no hestation to recommend their house to our friends. This was my first Airbnb stay and am keen to do it again after such a great experience. The hosts were wonderful, as was the view! They provided us with directions around the places we needed to go and assisted us with public transport information. They were very accommodating and made myself and my friend feel at home. Vinh+Stuart's home is perfectly located for exploring Sydney and it is everything they described and much more. Vinh and Stuart are excellent hosts with extensive knowledge of Sydney and they were both very helpful with brilliant suggestions on the sights that were uniquely Sydney. Only stayed for a couple of nights but were made to feel most welcome. Location was excellent with a great local pub. Both Vin & Stuart were excellent hosts but very much just let you get on with things and offered advice and help about Sydney if you needed it. I would highly recommend staying with them.

Staying with Vinh and Stuart was a pleasure. The house is located really conveniently near 2 different methods of public transport and close to a busy cab rank so getting anywhere is really simple. The house is really clean and most importantly Vinh and Stuart are friendly and really helpful. I couldn't recommend staying here enough.

Vinh and Stuart have been wonderful hosts! The room is very cosy and comfortable, and their pantry is well-stocked for breakfast. The area around the house is clean, peaceful and lovely. The gardens and greenery are beautiful. The location is also perfectly suited for travel by public transport to anywhere around Sydney. We absolutely loved their pet pomeranian, Kenji, who is so good-natured and friendly!

Whether you are a walker or prefer public transportation, it is easy to walk or use the tram/bus to the common places like Darling Harbour, downtown Sydney, etc. Vinh and Stuart go out of their way to make sure you have the information to get around. The room upstairs is nice and airy and a decent size! The bed is actually very comfortable! There's not a door on the room but since it is at the top of the place, it is totally private. The location was fantastic, easy access to public transportation and if its a nice day in beautiful Sydney, you can walk to the center and enjoy darling harbour! Stuart and Vinh are fantastic hosts, friendly and helpful for any questions you might have; the room was exactly as described, the bed super comfortable and I will miss Kenji very much! such a cute dog :) When Im in Sydney again, I will totally try to stay with them again, they are great.

Stuart & Vinh's home is super central. I recommend it as it is so close to the city. Location is no 1. You can be walking distance from the city & yet it's such a private & quiet spot. not to mention beautiful with the water in front. Kenji ( thier dog ) was a darling & eager to make friends with anyone. We were there for a weekend wedding which was so convenient. We'd return anytime if they're still available. :)

Vinh & Stuart's (and Kenji's!) home is excellent! The location of the house is just perfect for a walk into the city! Very convenient! Their home is really beautiful, neat and tidy. Just behind their home is Prymont Point Park, and it has such a beautiful skyline- you can see the Harbour Bridge! The house is in a great location, easily accessible to downtown sydney and the darling harbour, making it a good place to explore sydney! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! P.S. I had an amazing stay with Stuart and Vinh. They were fantastic hosts. Their home is warm and cozy. Loved the nice, modern bathroom and comfortable bedroom.They were very welcoming and friendly and full of great information about the local area.The neighborhood they live in is filled with wonderful (non-touristy restaurants) and only 5 minutes or less to reach the light rail on foot. Beautiful home with the most lovely hosts. Excellent location for commuting to the city (even though I caught a taxi as I was scared of the big smoke = $10 to city). Bed was super comfortable and I slept well every night. There are some wonderful restaurants within 2 minutes walking distance. I especially loved the Indonesian restaurant. Unfortunately I wasnt there for longer to allow time to explore the area some more. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again if I'm in Sydney.

Stuart and Vinh are wonderful and very helpful hosts. Their house is beautiful and the view from the terrace and kitchen is amazing. Very convenient for great restaurants and busing to the CBD. Very clean, fantastic location and great hosts! It was my first time using airbnb and was truly fortunate to find this accommodation. Vinh and Stuart are very nice welcoming people and interesting to talk to. The place was absolutely spotless and have everything required to make your stay a plesant one. The place is walking distance from draling harbour and the CBD within a nice neighbourhood, having beautiful scenic views. This place is definately recommended!

Once again, another wonderful stay with Vinh and Stuart (and their gorgeous pomeranian). It's a shame they are such lovely hosts – I really want to spend more time with them. It's in a great neighborhood for walking, shopping, and just hanging out. And has good transportation, with a bus, tram, and ferry practically on the doorstep. But, they are the real attraction. The house is very conveniently located with tram & buses within a short walk. This room has a window overlooking the river view. It is tidy and cozy. They have a fully equipped kitchen with lovely ceramic bowls & plates & utensils. Both the hosts are friendly and helpful. Kenji the dog is adorable.

This was my first time using air bnb and it was fantastic. I stayed on the sofa bed and everything is exactly as described, the house is very clean and has everything you need, including a water view! It is very easy to get here from the airport (even with all the luggage I had) and has great access to public transport. The local area is very nice with lots of restuarants and walking paths. We had a great time staying with Vinh and Stuart in Pyrmont. They are very friendly and helpful but don't invade your space. Their house is lovely and within walking distance of Darling Harbour so makes a great base from which to explore Sydney. I couldn't have asked for a better first introduction to AirBNB. The hosts were very trusting and flexible in their arrangements for me considering I had to be at a conference at all hours of the day and night. The house was warm and homely with full access to the kitchen and coffee making facilities (which I didn't need to use as I had all of that provided at the conference.) Stuart and Vihn are warm, welcoming, and easy going hosts. Its a beautiful home, the location is quiet, villagey and safe, and so so close to the city (you can even walk across Pyrmont Bridge into the CBD). This is a great location, especially as i was attending a conference at Darling Harbour - walking distance. Fabulous range of restaurants and cafes steps away - plus a beauty salon on the same street! Easy walk to public transport. It was the first time I tried Airbnb. Unlike other hosts here(such as Dylan W), they are responsive to my inquiries. I enjoyed my stay with Vinh+Stuart Horrex. The location is great. You can just walk to the Darling Harbour. The bus stop is just less than a minute walk away that you can take it to the Town Hall & Circular Quay (the Opera House). The house is quiet. This is a very well-set-up lodging. Vinh and Stuart have clearly done this many times and know just what to do to make it work. It's an excellent option and I can readily recommend it. One caution -- the steps up to the bedrooms are narrow and somewhat steep because this is a historic house. If you have any trouble with steps, this (sadly) would not be a good choice. Otherwise, I highly recommend it!

Staying at Stuart and Vihn's home was my first Airbnb experience and a very positive one. Prior to my arrival,Ii received very detailed directions to their house and other important information. Upon arrival and throughout my stay, they were both very cordial, informative and helpful with making my Sydney experience a positive one. I really enjoyed staying here. My room was a great attic room with a water view. The house is superbly decorated. Vinh and Stuart were very welcoming and friendly and I felt very relaxed in the environment. I had many interesting chats with them about my business and I learnt quite a lot! As an extra bonus,they have a gorgeous dog who is equally friendly. The location is great: a pleasant walk or a quick monorail trip into the CBD. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

My vacation in Sydney was a very memorable one. As with any time away from home, accomodation is a huge part of the overall experience. We spent most of our time out and about, but Vinh and Stu were very accomodating with our early mornings and late(ish) nights, and always available with suggestions for the day or encouragement to try Vegemite. Vinh & Stuart are most lovely hosts very warm and thoughtfull, Their comfy home is in a great location, a 2 min stroll down the road to heaps of lovely resturants so handy after a long day great choices if you want to grab a takeaway or dine in. Nice veiws of the harbour and a 15 min walk to darling harbour. Kenji their little dog is very freindly and very well behaved , I never heard a peep from him and was always there with a happy greeting each day. Great place comfy bed and great aircon. :)

We stayed with Vinh and Stuart for 3 days. We're so glad we found airbnb and especially that we stayed with Vinh and Stuart! Vinh and Stuart (and Kenji) couldn't have been better hosts. I was an Airbnb virgin and the experience has made me keen to do it again. They're so close to excellent public transport, I got from Pyrmont to the Opera House (including walking for 10 minutes across the forecourt) in under half an hour. Gorgeous bijou residence, no disturbance from neighbours, and just lovely hosts.

Of course they do have many years experience running a BnB in Mudgie so they know the drill but that aside , they were welcoming, friendly, and forthcoming. Maybe it's because they've run a guesthouse I suspect, though, it's probably because they're all round such great chaps - but Stuart and Vinh are the tops! Saturday night they arrived home from their rambles armed with cheese and wine. We sat up for quite a while with lively and interesting conversation. Gatsby-the-bird thought his contributions were the best. They couldn't have been better houseguests - when they left the next day they even stripped the bed - mercy!
