Great apartment, interesting neighborhood. Easy access to BART and great mexican food near by. Would definitely book again.
November 2011The apartment is in a great location, near a vibrant neighborhood full of cafes, bars, restaurants, etc.
Had a great time staying here, the Mission is extremely vibrant and interesting and Nick's place is like a peaceful oasis within that. I only met Nick briefly when I arrived but he seemed like a nice guy and he helped me understand the lay of the land in the area and provided some great recommendations. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.
Nick was great- very helpful and accommodating, despite my late reservation. The room was as promised, and a clean towel and sheets were provided. The location was fantastic- very lively with plenty of bars and restaurants and a park super close. Definitely recommended.
Great, comfortable room in an excellent location. Can't beat the walking proximity to Valencia, Dolores Park, and countless other stops along the way. Nick was not around but I crossed paths with Will...low-key as this shared space (in an otherwise lively neighborhood).
Best location in a great city. No matter where I roamed, i was always glad to get back to the mission. Nick is a busy boy and I wish him well with his ventures.
Nicholas was a great host. He gave me every bit of information that I needed to find his place easily, and the key exchange was a piece of cake. His roommate, Will, was in the apartment when I arrived - just the right amount of friendliness and distance for an insta-housemate situation. The room was clean, and everything that I needed was left out. Nicholas also was very gracious in accommodating a 9th hour change that I had to make to my reservation. The location is more than... No doubt that it is a vibrant part of S.F., close to a lot. Walking to most everything you need. Parking is somewhat of an issue, but where isn't it in S.F.. Both Nick and Will seem like very nice people, while they pretty much stay out of your way I think they are busy also I think they would help you in any way they reasonably could. For the price hard to beat....JACK
Nick was out of town, but he left clean sheets and a towel and keys, and his roommate Will pointed me to a few interesting places around the neighborhood to look at before turning in for the night. These guys are legit - I would definitely recommend staying here to any traveler!
Nick was really accommodating for my last minute booking. Clean, great location, close to transit. Would definitely recommend it!
Friendly, convenient, comfortable, and hassle-free. Handy to public transit and lots of good restaurants. Thanks to my host, and Nick's roommate, Will.
Nick was out of town so met and dealt with roommate Will. He made sure I was comfortable and otherwise left me to the neighbourhood. And what a hood it is. slowly gentrifying but still very lively and far from bland. Strongly recommend staying here should you need or want to be in the area.
Nick is a great host -- very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I felt very comfortable during my time in the Mission. The room was clean and exactly as described. The neighborhood is safe and the location is ideal -- lots of public transportation options. I'd highly recommend staying here. As a women traveling solo, I felt very safe.
Nick is an entrepreneur at heart, and a genuinely wonderful host. His place is in the center of the Mission, just two blocks from the Bart station. His room is quite nice, with beautiful photography, and possibly the most comfortable bed I have slept on in quite a while. The one thing to note is that the street is a little noisy, but nothing a city person couldn't handle. I highly recommend staying with Nick.
Absolutely perfect location - close to the 16th St BART stop and right around the corner from a bunch of nice cafes, brunch spots and one of the best taquerias in town. The room is spacious and bright. Nick and Will were very accommodating; they provided towels and let me store my bags at their place until the evening of my last day in town.
Definitely a good stay for the price. The room was clean and the location of the place is close to public transportation and local eateries. Nick was also a great host. He left pamphlets about San Francisco out and gave space and privacy.
Great apartment and location. It is located in a really nice part of the Mission, close to lots of bars, restaurants and small shops. It's also really close to the BART so it's very convenient to get to/from the airport as well as other parts of the city. Even though I booked on extremely short notice, Nick was very gracious and helpful in making sure that I found his place and settled in okay. His roommate Will was also very cool and recommended lots of good local places to eat which was... More »
I enjoyed staying in Nick's apartment. The location was great; very close to Bart so you can easily get to/from the airport or downtown San Francisco. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Nick during my stay since he was out of town but I met his roomate Will who was nice. Overall, I recommend staying there.
Nick was a real cool host, and friendly as well. NOthing to complain at all, and I recommend his place for sure. It's really convenient to get back to the airport, and close to really cool places as well.
Really nice location and apartment. I met Nicholas really briefly since he went on holidays, but enough to let me feel at home. The bed is amazing and I've even could have some work done at the desk.
The location of the apartment is very convenient, close to BART station that goes to Downtown and SFO airport easily. Very interesting neighborhood that has a great mix of most everything. Although I've heard some negative opinions of the Mission district, I felt quite safe and had not any incident the 5 days we were there. The room is spacious with a comfortable sofa. Bed is firm and big with warm coverings. Good size closet with ample hangers and shelves. Bathroom is very spacious too,... More »
Guys! Stay with Nick. That's it. He let us using his house like was our home. We were able to stay in the kitchen all day to work. Nick is also passionate about technology and startups; and the bedroom is awesome! Ciao
Nick was a great host; he was easy to talk to, helpful, and considerate. Nick has a nicely remodeled place in the heart of the Mission, right around the corner from the BART. For exploring the Mission and the surrounding areas in SF, I highly recommend staying with Nick.
Second stop at Nick's apt during my trip in SF. Memorable staying, everything was very fine. Mission District is a very interesting neighborhood. Don't waste your time, take a walk in valencia street, for the 18th and 16th streets towards Castro, taste the many pubs, restaurants, bars... The apt is very well located - few minutes to downtown by Bart - and Nick's is a great friend!!!
nick is a super nice and reliable guy, the apartment is beautiful and its great located in the very exiting mission district. nick was always available for me if i had any questions and was very helpful all the time. i would defintily come back again ;)
Nick is a very kind and friendly guy. The apt is well located, with all the amenities around and Bart station only 5 minutes walking. The first impact with Mission was a little bit hard for me, but I slowly discovered what I consider now one of the most interesting SF places, with many weird fashinating restaurants, bars, shops... I've immediately felt myself at home and I hope to go again in Mission and in Nick 's apt. Thanks nick!!
Nicely upgraded apt with granite countertops, large kitchen, gas stove, large bedroom with comfy bed and couch, quiet street close to Muni and Bart and amenities. Nick and Noah were almost invisible, pleasant when present. Highly recommend. Would stay again.
Great location- 5 minutes walk to an awesome yoga studio as well as the BART.
Nick was very helpful and promt at responding to my emails, but I didn't get to meet him. It was his brother Noah that welcomed me and he did everything he possibly could to make me feel at home. The flat is close to the BART and situated in a very eclectic neighborhood, which I loved!
Staying here was great! Nic (and his bro) were great hosts - even though I didn't meet Nic. The neighborhood is vibrant and the building is safe and secure. When we were there the building's common hallways were being upgraded and although the building doesn't look so nice from the outside, the interior was quite lovely. The room for rent was large and the bed was comfortable. Parking was also not that bad. There are great places to eat very close by and awesome coffee. Thanks guys!
Nic is a classy and awesome guy. I felt REALLY comfortable staying there. He even recommended this fantastic Burmese mom 'n pop restaurant across the street called "Yamo" and I could not get over the food there. I still have dreams about the chicken noddle soup they have. Also, try the mixed salad as an appetizer. It is simply to die for! I actually bought 3 meals to take to the airport and was eating the mixed salad on the plane (truth be told, the people sitting besides me were drooling)!... More »
This is a great place in the middle of the Mission! The room is large, has beautiful hardwood floors and tall ceilings. I can't get over how great of a location this was: just blocks away from Bi-Rite, Tartine, and the BART. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to meet Nicholas during my stay, but his brother Noah was very hospitable and easy-going. Thanks for the great stay, guys!
This place is nice and calmly tucked away in the vibrant Mexican and Latino part of the Mission District. There is so much expressionism in art, buildings, pavement poetry, and the tube will get you anywhere in a sec. It is a comfortable place to stay!
Nicholas only stayed one night in my Studio. He seemed to be a vey polite and pleasant young man. He left the place clean and there were no problems. I would recommend him to stay at any property.
September 2011Nick and his friends were great guests. I loved their enthusiasm for their "staycation" and appreciated that they took advantage of all our apartment and neighborhood had to offer. They left the place clean and tidy. We also very much appreciated the nice bottle of wine they left for us and the extra beers in the fridge!
