We love to travel. When we travel we like to stay in a comfortable place that is clean, neat and sweet smelling, for a reasonable price. That's what we rent to you. We love city life but we also love outdoor adventures. We like keep up with all that's new and exciting around New York and we're happy to tell you where to find it. Want to hear the new young musicians that people are excited about or the promising new artists - we'll tell you about them. The best restaurants - ask us.
Want to take a break from the city we'll tell you about wilderness canoeing on the Delaware river - just an hour and a half's drive. We can tell you where to find the great salt water fishing with clean beautiful waters just an hour away from the city or how to take a one day trip by bus to ski in Vermont.

WHY WILLIAMSBURG?

Williamsburg is FABULOUS. It's fast growing and it's fast changing. It's hip. In the 1960's the new and exciting place where culture was blooming was Greenwich Village. In the 70's the SOHO neighborhood was where cheap industrial loft space were being turned into places where the adventurous could move to New York, live cheaply and make the new art, music, and culture. These days Williamsburg has that special chemistry of the New York that's constantly renewing itself.

The apartment is lovely, and true to the photos. I love the ability to go out on the balcony. Its located in a true Brooklyn neighborhood, in that, if you want a nice space in a residential, quiet area, this is it! Its close enough to public transport and the area meets your needs for food and drink. We wanted a nice place, to chill and a breath, and it was PERFECT for our needs. We will definitely use that apartment again!

The apt. was lovely, Everything was as exactly as pictured and promised. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the bed and linens. Irina was very nice and very helpful - a great host. This was my first experience with Airbnb - it was a huge success!! I would definitely do it again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here over a long weekend in New York. It was our first time using Airbnb, and we were really happy with the stay. Irina was easy to get in contact with, and met us at the apartment to give us the key, and show us the place. We got in late at night and she even gave us take out menus! Irina's place on Willoughby in Brooklyn is great! Very modern, airy, full of light, comfortable and completely spotless... a wonderful place to stay. Irina kindly welcomed me at the apartment, even though my flight to New York was over 2 hours late and I arrived somewhat late at night. Every convenience was there waiting for me, right down to the shampoo, to make my stay completely easy and comfortable. This is a beautiful, clean, fully equipped and very well lighted apartment (but maybe too much: despite AC, it's hot on the mezzanine in the summer!). Too bad we discovered a little late in our stay that we had access to the rooftop but we nonetheless enjoyed seeing fireworks over Manhattan! You are at 5 minutes walking from the subway (G line), there's a bike lane on the street and there's car parking available at the rear for tenants. Irina is a very good host and easy to reach. The apartment was clean and exactly as shown in the photographs. The wifi was excellent. There is nothing to do in the neighbourhood but it is near the G subway. We were happy with the apartment, but sadly we had a dispute with the host over a leaking shower, which caused us a lot of stress and wasted our time and some money. Though they are nice people and the apartment is of a good quality we were dissappointed with this and it tainted our experience.

hiya, we loved the williamsburg apartment, it was just perfect for what we wanted - as mentioned, great transport links & close access to manhattan & rest of brooklyn too; we loved the interesting features & fittings too - even better than the pics! irina made us feel very welcome on arrival & they answered any q's we had with no bother, and great local suggestions for food etc - we'd love to come stay again one day!

Beautiful apartment. Amazing light in the morning coming in from the double height windows. Even comes with private parking! Will be back again.

Irina was very friendly and accommodating, especially when our flight was delayed. She met us at late in the evening at the apartment with milk and orange juice to complement the coffee and tea that were already there. The apartment was bright and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen is adequately equipped, unless you're planning to cook a complicated meal. We had a great stay. We accidentally arrived a little early, but Irina was very accommodating. The place was clean, plenty of sheets and blankets, even OJ in the fridge. We didn't meet Allen, but Irina couldn't have been more helpful.

The place was perfect for my birthday weekend. I've lived in Manhattan and wanted to explore Brooklyn and everything that interested me was proximate and easy (and it would have been a breeze to see Manhattan from this location as well.) The basics: Clean, nice, home-away-from-home feeling. Safe neighborhood, few-frills but many comforts way to visit NYC. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. It's everything Mike M said & more. Allen & Irina are such great people, it felt more like staying with friends than renting a room from strangers. The kitchen has whatever you might need to cook your own meals (but there are too many great places to eat out at that it's a challenge to try to do so). Allen and Irena were simply wonderful hosts and great ambassadors to New York and Brooklyn. They let us keep our bags in the apartment before check-in and were very easy to communicate with. They provided us with a map of the area with local stuff like laundry, restaurants, etc. The apartment itself was very spacious as far as New York goes -- a room that size would normally be hundreds of dollars a night. Stayed with Allen and Irina about a year ago. The apartment was more spacious than we thought it would be. They were helpful and nice when we needed that, and left us alone when we needed that too. The location is pretty good, not that far a walk into Williamsburg/hipsterville, and not that far into Manhattan either. We enjoyed our stay!
