My partner Jan and I would love to be your hosts and help make your stay as comfortable as possible while you enjoy some peace and quiet, and renewal in our cottage-by-the-pond setting. I am a massage therapist employed by The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn in the town of Sonoma, as well as having my own private practice, BodyPathways. In addition to your restful stay with us, you may want to consider getting a massage, either in the cottage or on the private deck overlooking the koi pond. Denise and Jan are life savers!!! We can't thank them enough. My partner and I planned our trip and headed up for our little Sonoma getaway. We showed up at Denise and Jan's door only to find out we had made the reservation for the wrong week! They were a little confused at first, but didn't hesitate to have us stay. We loved staying at Denise and Jan's place! We were there on a rainy weekend, and still managed to thoroughly enjoy ourselves more than we expected. The cottage was cozy, and warm-- with a cute little "wood burning" stove/heater. The koi pond was meditative, and a pleasure to look onto while we sat outside under the eaves as we drank coffee and had breakfast. And the outdoor shower was fun! Best vacation ever! (besides the honeymoon in 2000) I'm so glad we found this peaceful and perfect spot to stay, away from the hustle/bustle of big city life. It was great for us, since we were traveling around town by bicycle. Denise and Jan were wonderful hosts who really made our time in Sonoma special! The cottage was as cute as can be- private, cozy, clean and thoughtfully stocked with clean linens, teas and even a selection of music. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the hot tub both nights. I would have to give Denise and Jan five stars for their hospitality! They were very friendly and attentive. The cottage was very beautiful. There were inspiring quotations everywhere, and I loved enjoying my breakfast by the wonderful koi pond. We had an awesome time in Sonoma and Denis and Jen were AWESOME. They were so welcoming and hospitable. Great people who we will stay in touch with. The cottage and garden was super and we want to stay there forever. The house was in the perfect central location for exploring Sonoma.We couldn't ask for a better stay. We would definitely highly recommend and would return.

This was our 1st experience with airbnb. Denise and Jan left us with an amazing and memorable 1st experience. The cottage is cozy and has what you need for a short stay. The posting shows that an airbed is in the cottage but it is actually a thin mattress with extra padding. It's just fine for a few days. My good friend, Kristen and I stayed with Denise and Jan for one evening while traveling through the Sonoma and Napa wine region. They were incredible hosts who truly opened their home and lives to us. The location was perfect to visit the whole region and taste delicious wines and food. 5 Stars! We had such a great time meeting Denise and Jan and staying in their adorable cottage. Everything about their home was welcoming and perfect to set the tone for a relaxing weekend. We couldn't think of a more relaxing and romantic place to have spent our anniversary. Denise and Jan have created a beautiful space which is complemented so wonderfully by their warmth. Denise and Jan could not have been better hosts. The cottage itself is charming and lovely, and their back yard is nothing short of utopian. They were also so kind and welcoming to us--we really enjoyed getting to know them and seeing a little slice of their idyllic life in Sonoma. I stayed with Denise and Jan for a relaxing weekend in wine country while in the area on business. The cottage was the perfect get-away and Denise and Jan went above and beyond to make me feel welcome in their home. Between the Koi pond, hot tub, outdoor shower and beautiful garden setting it was an extremely rejuvenating couple of days. I would absolutely stay with them again in the future. There should be an option for 5+ stars - Denise and Jan are the kind of people you are lucky to meet. Their home, zen backyard and the cottage are the most soothing kind of peaceful, and we felt in our short stay that we had found life long friends. The outdoor shower is lovely - Sonoma's warm weather, even when it's not super-hot, is perfect for it, and the basket of breakfast goodies that Denise brought out every morning was more than we could have imagined. My wife and I stayed 2 nights at Denise at Jan's place, and we had an amazing time! Their yard is beautiful and peaceful, and the cottage is warm, inviting, and perfectly sized for two people. The location is great - only a few minutes by car from downtown Sonoma, and easy access to route 12 and all the wineries in the region. Unfortunately Jan was out of town for most of our stay. My girlfriend and I stayed in this adorable little cottage over the 4th of July weekend. It was Perfect! The cottage is located in the most beautiful, peaceful "garden oasis" backyard. The loft bed is very comfortable, and waking up to the sounds of birds and trickling water was unforgettable.
