  My experience with the studio apartment was great. I was very satisfied with the purchase since it had everything I needed-bathroom, kitchen, AC, balcony etc. In terms of Marcos as a host, he really is a helpful and kind person.   Marcos is a great and very friendly host (as is his sister Mara who lives in the apartment where the flat is located). Both of them gave me a very warm welcome and were there whenever I needed anything. On the eve of hurricane Irene arriving in San Juan, Mara even drove me to one of the few supermarkets still open so I could stock up on supplies for the coming days.   Location was great if your plan is old San Juan. But unfortunately, the photos on the website look better then in person. The couch on the site is larger and looks in good condition, but it was old and uncomfortable, and dirty in-between the cushions. The bathroom was dirty and so was the shower when we moved in, the washer leaked badly when you washed cloths, the bottom wall of the bedroom was mildew and it appeared that it was just painted over, but the paint was ready to come off, and a...   We loved this condo!!! There are million reasons why you would like it too. First of all Marcos and Maritza are good, kind people. The location is PERFECT. Close to everything you need (walking distance): 24/7 supermarket, beautiful beaches, pizza place on the corner, Condado downtown, Starbucks. Really convenient location. Also, you will have available parking space (so nice), internet, washer/dryer. This place is a keeper! Thank you Marcos & Maritza!

  This was a great place to stay, very comfortable and right in the heart of Old San Juan. We had no idea how great it would be and felt very lucky. Maritza was friendly and helpful in every way we could wish. Definitely recommended.

  Will go back. Convenient to the beach. 0.4 mile walk. Very quiet building. Zero complaints!!! A 6th star for being so accommodating with my travelling hiccups.

  This is a nice place to stay! It's very convenient no matter you want to find a supermarket, go to the bus station or beach. The hosts are also very kind and they'll help you a lot during the trip!

  We were very happy to stay at Marcos in Old Town - San Juan. It was a very good introduction to the Old Town - El Morro and the Citadel is just around the corner and a few meters away a morning break coffeeshop and the Mercado (Museum). The flat is spacious and lovely. We loved to seat in front of the open window with a cup of coffee and watch people leaving for work ... :-)

  I highly recommend this rental! The location is great, not far from the beach. A 24 hour supermarket is one block away and a great little pizzeria/ bar is right next store with ice cold beer and good food for cheap. A parking spot came with the rental and made my life very easy. I felt very safe in the apartment and look forward to visits in the future. Marco was very accommodating and was very helpful throughout the rental process.

  La peor experiencia en P.R. No se puede descansar, estas muy lejos de todo y durante las 24 horas estan las tres autopistas con muchisimo trafico,muy caro y luego te cargan la limpieza y no esta muy limpio. Muy caro y Ruidoso, no es acogedor y los coches te desesperan. No volveré la vida...

  We were happy to stay in Marcos' studio. The studio was 5 minute walk from Condado center and beach. It takes less than 10 minutes to go to old San Juan by a taxi ($15 + tips). If you want to save money, there is a bus running near the studio to old San Juan ($0.75). A huge plus is that you get a free parking space in a gated area.   The location of the apartment couldn't be any better; Marcos was really kind at the time of my arrival, giving me a tour around the metropolitan area of San Juan for me to get a flavor of the city. The apartment wasn't as clean as I would expected, particularly the bathroom, so Marcos gave it a quick clean it on my request.   Marcos is an excellent host. He met me in a timely manner on the previously agreed upon time (which was late evening but he didn't seem to mind) to give me the key and show me around the apartment. He also gave me friendly advice on local attractions and stores and then met me again on time to get the key back at the end of my stay. He is very efficient and friendly. You are right in the center of Old San Juan - a perfect spot to walk around and explore this precious place on your feet.... More »

  Marcos es una persona correcta y agradable. Nos quedamos dos personas en su apartamento y nos atendió muy bien. Espero que siga teniendo huéspedes en su apartamento que disfruten de Puerto Rico. Respecto al apartamento tiene una situación estupenda en el Viejo San Juan. La calle tiene bares y restaurantes y está muy animada por la noche, especialmente en el fin de semana.   This was a very charming apartment. Real San Juan charm. The location was fantastic. The apartment had everything I needed and more! My only complaint would be that it was a little noisy since the interior windows don't have glass (typical of san juan) I could hear the upstairs neighbors. But, I would stay here again!

  The apartment is great definitely worth every penny. It's right in the heart of the Old San Juan lifestyle! Marcos and his family were very accommodating. Will always go back!

  I would say for the price, it was well worth it. You have your own bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and washer and dryer. It's in Old San Juan, should I say more? I will be staying there again in the near future. Chris
