It was very nice. The room was spacious and nice. I never met the host, but it was easy to find the key and it was nice we had out privacy.

The house was great. I only met 2 of the housemates and both were really nice and welcoming. The room was perfect and the house is in a really nice neighbourhood. I didnt have a car which is a bit of a pain but you can catch a bus closeby. Some really cool little bars and restaurants close by also. I would stay again

Great stay with Robert and his roommates. The house was great and the room a great size. Close to Venice and all the character that lies within, but a little further out from downtown LA. Make sure to bring towels just in case the house is out!

Very nice first experience with airbnb. Definitely recommend it, Robert and his roommates are very chill, the place is nice and quiet. I had to leave in a rush due to a family emergency and forgot something, which Robert promptly volunteered to mail to me. The bedroom is very comfortable, the house is spacious, the street has absolutely beautiful trees and it was very cool watching the Oscars eating Robert's guacamole! Thanks!

Really enjoyed staying at Robert's pad. Got the low-down from his roommate, who's a graduate of USC and an architect, about the state of LA architecture and construction, and you can't buy that kind of info!
I wasn't there long, but it was a very solid stay and I'd go back. And enjoyed checking out that neighborhood, which I hadn't been in before.

It was a great stay. The location is very quiet, lot of sun, I loved the terrace.
Unfortunately Robert was not in Los Angeles, but his room mates are very nice and relaxed, so I felt at home. And it was fun watching television with them.

This was a very good first experience with airbnb. Robert and his roommates were friendly and accommodating, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the house seemed to be in a safe, convenient neighborhood with lots of parking.

Nice private room with comfy bed. Good bathroom facilities and great house setup (wifi, cable tv in living room, etc.). Easy parking in quiet residential neighborhood. Very close to a lot of LA stuff, so great for tourists. I didn't spend much time at the place, but I could tell the guys were easy-going and laidback. No noise issues either. Definitely recommend staying here.

Rob's a nice dude. The place was clean, the bed was awesome, and no one bothered me-- which was exactly what I wanted. Plenty of parking, a little off the beaten path for a lot of LA stuff...but not a bad deal at all! Go for it.

Wonderful house in Santa Monica. The roomates were very nice to me. Plenty of parking space in front of the house and lot of restaurants and shops very close. The room is big and confortable, as well as the bathroom.

Very chilled arrangement. The guys are friendly and up for a chat, but you otherwise get your own space. I wasn't around much (busy trip), so it was nice to have somewhere relaxed to return to. Great location - handy to Venice, Santa Monica and LAX. Just make sure you check the Big Blue Bus schedule too, as Google Maps doesn't list it!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is nice, clean, quiet and beautifully located. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Robert but his room mates were nice guys who were happy to give tips & have a chat. Lovely terrace and even better treehouse! :)

Too bad we couldn't meet Robert because we arrived so late, but the place was really nice and we had a really pleasant stay in L.A.!

We had a very enjoyable stay! apartment was clean and spacious, views were very nice from the deck, room-mates were chill. All in all a very good experience!

Very cute house with an awesome deck and spa. The room is cozy... no TV in the bedroom, but it gives you a good excuse to go out in the living room and socialize with the awesome roommates. All of the boys are sweet and complete gentlemen, so ladies, you don't have to worry about being the only girl here... they didn't even gawk while I was in my bikini in the hottub. They let me have a glass of wine and enjoy. Also, even though there are 3 roommates, one lives out of the garage with his own bathroom, and the other 2 are in the medical profession and out a lot, so I had the main bathroom to myself in the morning. Warning - water pressure is low in the shower, ladies, so it was a little time consuming to wash my hair, but I was able to work with it. All in all, the place is clean, view and hottub are nice, neighborhood is safe, roommates are darling.

Great place to stay near LA. Nice house in a quiet neighborhood. A few minutes from Venice Beach and many restaurants and unique boutiques.
The guys were very welcoming and fun to hang with. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit LA.

Absolutely...Rob's good people. We had long talks about film-making and paragoric cigarettes when I should've been doing my work. Over a glass of port, passing a bottle of Knob Creek, or just plum sober, Rob's Society is irresistible.

Robert's house is in a beautiful, residential neighborhood, near Whole Foods and close to the beach. I enjoy staying there because Robert knows a lot about LA and gives excellent recomendations for restuarants, music and fun times. The room is attractive and clean and the housemates are easy-going, young and LA saavy. When you stay at Rob's Place you will meet young Angelinos that love their city and are totally fun! Staying their makes the huge city more friendly. Have a great time.

The place itself is great, but beyond that you cannot beat the location in Los Angeles. Close to the best parts of the west side and the ocean breeze from the deck is just one of the perks! I also know Robert and the roommates are full of great recommendations - especially in such a sprawling city, its great to get the young, local advice (not to mention directions). All of the guys that live in the house are hardworking and fun - if you had brothers, this place will feel just like home. Robert's room also doesn't share any walls with any of the rooms, although there is plenty of space at the house. Overall, it will be an added delight to your trip to LA.

Robert Rutherford is a personable, clean dude with awesome roommates. He has a beautiful home with a great view in a great neighborhood with great parking. Not much else you need. Definitely stay with this cat.
