Hi, I'm Sheridan, 27, from Nottingham, England.
I'm actively involved in different organisations around Nottingham this includes being President for the local Nottingham Rotaract Club (part of Rotary International). I have an interest in business and the environment and currently work for an environmental social enterprise called Nottingham Energy Partnership.
In 2007 I spent 10 months travelling solo around the world visiting SE Asia, OZ, NZ, Fiji and the USA. My favourite place was New Zealand where I sky dived, bunjee jumped, and spent 7hrs walking over a mountain.
I enjoy meeting new people, learning about different cultures and generally living life to the full. I like the saying "There are no strangers, just people you haven't met yet".
In 2011 I was awarded the Nottingham Roosevelt Scholarship which will allow me to travel around the USA for 3 months investigating Social Entrepreneurship, after which I hope to set up my own business.
