Heather's place is near by the freeway and public transportation. The room I stayed in was very roomy and comfy. The bathroom was clean and well organized. I also like the fact I can use her kitchen, made myself some eggs for breakfast. They were delicious cause it's farm fresh. We had a good time chatting, which made me feel at home when I am out of town, or out of state. I would love to return to Portland, OR, and stay at her place again, possibly for a week at a time.
I highly recommend staying at Heather's place. Don't let the humble exterior of this small cottage fool you! The house is clean and cozy and in an excellent location in N. I went to Portland to take a test, and I stayed in heather's hous for the weekend. The house was a gorgeous, quite and very nice to study. she was really kind and wellcoming all the time.
Definitely, if I came to Portland again, her house will be my first choice.
Heather had a really great room at a great price. It's in a wonderful neighborhood with a grocery store just around the corner ( very walkable 6 blocks, short ones) as well as Portland's light rail. It's a place that would work very well if you wanted to take the train to Portland and leave the car behind. I would definitely say stay here. If Heater will have me I'll be back.

We were blessed with this having been an excellent choice. Heather is awesome and chill, a great host. She obviously likes people but isn't needy or intrusive in the least. We loved our stay at Heather's place - the room is just like the pictures. It's in a nice neighbourhood, close to the I5 and only a 10 minute drive from the city. Heather is also extremely easy to deal with - she was quick to respond to any questions we had and made our stay very enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Portland.
Where could you get offered up an entire house, fresh linens, kitchen, information, etc.(while the host moves to the basement )for this price??? No where but Heathers! Very convenient, off the freeway, quiet area, house, and hosts. Best buy in Portland.
We weren't sure about our arrival time and Heather was flexible and easy to get in touch with. The house was comfortable, clean, and stylish. Heather was friendly and anticipated all of our needs well. We had the entire floor to ourselves, so privacy was never an issue. I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks, Heather!
Heather was a fantastic host! She is laid-back, fun to talk to, and really made my stay enjoyable! The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated - it reminded me more of a boutique hotel room than your typical homestays. Plenty of street parking, close to a couple of good coffee shops, I would highly recommend this host and her place.
We were thrilled to host Heather, our first Boston Marathon Runner! She finished the course which was no small feat given how hot it was that day. Heather is a lovely, friendly young woman. She and her mom, who was accompanying her, were excellent guests, very considerate and left the apartment as they found it

Heather has beena great friend of mine for many years. When she lived in San Diego, we worked together and trained together for several marathons. Now, when she visits SD, she stays with me and is great fun to be around and is tremendously respectful of your home.
