Jake and Wil are amazing people. Hacker House is a nice apartment near of everything you need in Mountain View. Close to El Camino, to the Computer History Museum, and a lot of other useful places.
Everything went smoothly and it was great to see a real Silicon Valley entrepeneur house (they look like normal houses, but with entrepreneurs in them :-). It was nice to meet you guys!
I really enjoyed staying with Jake and Will. Great hosts. Interesting conversations. Very good location in Mountain View. Highly recommended, especially if you're an entrepreneur or into the high-tech scene.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Jake and his room-mate are extremely friendly people who go out of their way to make sure your stay is as painless as possible.

This was our second stay with Jake, Wil and now Jacob. We were relieved when we saw their place was available because they are awesome hosts! We ended up doing something interesting every night, but they also know how to just kick back and chill around their place.
They've got a nice big airbed, an insanely comfortable couch and now, thanks to Jacob, a pretty sweet table.
If you need a place in the Mountain View area, look no further.
I had and am having a great time staying with Jake, Jared and Wil in the Hacker House. They are all really friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make me feel at home.
It's a really cool environment for a web startup to be around. The place itself is great also with pool, gym and short walk to transport, Castro etc Recommended :)
I had a great time staying with Jared and Jake. They are excellent hosts and provided me with everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. I would especially recommend them to people involved with startups. They took me to the hacker house barbecue in Palo Alto, which was awesome. On top of all this they are great guys.
The apartment is in a good location, not far from the Caltrain or Y Combinator.
I never acetually stayed with Jake, as i never really got there du to Visa issues, but Jake was a perfect gentleman and returned my money. Higly appreshiated!
These guys are great hosts. Stay here. As other reviews have pointed out, they're all smart, friendly, involved in startups, and they're great to discuss ideas with.
Castro street is a short walk away, and Y Combinator is a bit farther, but still walkable.
Wish I would have had more time to hang out with these guys but I was too busy with the jQuery Conference. Made me feel welcome right away and threw me some great places to hit on Castro Street (within walking distance). Looking forward to catching the next rev of their jQTouch app and hitting SFO again!

Very cool guys - really nice to stay and they were all really hospitable. I'd stay longer but it's booked out! If you're a startup, this is a great place to stay.
Jared was friendly and accommodating. A fun host and an intelligent guy. It was our first time in the area and we enjoyed staying at his place in Mountain View.
