I had just moved to Los Angeles from Illinois and didn't know the city at all. Maureen and her daughter were wonderful throughout the entire time I stayed there. It truly felt like another home and they always made sure to involve me and make me feel comfortable when they could. I would recommend Maureen to anyone staying in Los Angeles. She's a great host and a great person!

we are a group of 5 people who are two couples and one single girl. This home offers two bedrooms, and one of them has a bunk beds, which is perfect for us. The host even let us use her parking lot.
Overall, this is a very convenient, comfortable, and nice place. We had a really good time there.
Apartment is abit old, but well-maintained and very well-equipped. Indeed a home away from home. It's location is convenient - walking distance to grocery store, McD's, Pizza and Chinese Takeaways etc. Very close to the freeways. and Hollywood area through Laurel Canyon.
Maureen was kind enough to leave her daughter's Nintendo Wii for my boys - The boys enjoyed the apartment so much that they preferred staying-in than going out and about LA.
We had a wonderful time here. The apartment was very clean, great for our toddler, and spacious. Maureen was very helpful on arrival, and upon checkout (we forgot a bag and she offered to get it shipped, fortunately a friend was able to pick it up for us).
The location is very convenient, trader joes within walking distance and we used the apartment as a base to explore la.
Would highly recommend to anyone, and especially to those traveling with kids.

I really enjoyed my stay at this well appointed apartment. There is a nice large deck with a great view of the Hollywood Hills (OK, the Valley side, but still beautiful), and the living room and common areas are large, clean, and bright. Maureen has a maid service come in every two weeks which made it really nice, so no worries about that sort of thing. Maureen herself is really friendly, funny, and helpful. Very nicely located and cozy apartament. Very good contact with Maureen, she's very helpful. If you have a car everything is close: downtwn LA, Santa Monica beach, Hollywood. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again if we got a chance.
Maureen's place was very comfortable, and very conveniently located! We had a great four day stay there, and would stay again. A really great budget option for an LA visit!
The apartment is cozy and clean. Safe and friendly neighborhood. Yeah, the apartment is a sort of "historic" building, so I have to say it's old when compared with other houses/condos in the same block. But at least her unit is well-managed, and bright all day long thanks to the many windows on the three sides (west, south and east) around the unit. The spacious patio is very nice too. 7 family members in this apt with one bathroom was a challenge. This apt would fit comfortable for 5 or less.
Maureen has a warm personality and very considerate lady.

Maureen and her daughter Anna were fantastic. They are very nice and sweet people and they kept my apt. nice and clean. I would rent to them anytime they need a place to stay in Nyc.
Maureen and I are kindred souls! She and her daughter were lovely guests and so pleasant and flexible! Maureen left the apt in flawless condition even added a few items! She is my number one guest and cannot wait to have her return as my guest!
