Born in France but left when I was 2 years old. My father was a journalist and therefore we travelled alot. I lived in London for 3 years, then in Washington D.C for 3 years, in Jerusalem for 3 years and finally in Fort Lauderdale for another 3 years. I've been in Paris for the past 10 years. I travel alot for my job. Either as a musician or as a photographer. I also shoot videos for bands. I'm perfectly bilingual in French and English but also speak good Spanish.

L'emplacement était parfait: deux épiceries à proximité, la boulangerie de l'autre côté de la rue, le boulevard de Montparnasse à 2 minutes de marche et la gare à 15 minutes. L'acceuil à été très amicale. L'appartement est très fonctionel et tranquille. Seul côté négatif, la salle de bain et le tapis qui auraient besoin d'être rafraîchi. En général, nous avons apprécié notre expérience et recommendrions cet appartement.

Communication with the owner was excellent. The apartment was easy to find, convenient from CDG by train either directly with no transfer or with a transfer to the metro. The transfer placed you nearer to the apt. The apt was full of light and warm at night when the temperature went down. The owner's mother expedited entrance into the apt; this was appreciated after 14 hours of travel. The location is ideal. It is quieter than the area near the Sorbonne, yet offers fine dining... Great location and hosts went out of the way to accommodate our departure time. The patisserie immediately across the street was "sinful". We loved this part of Paris and will stay again here if we get the chance. Would go back at the end of May but cute and cozy downtown apartment is booked. By the way, cute and cozy sounds like a small place but it is very spacious. Mille mercies, Mme. Mazaud.

We stayed here for 6 nights in April, 2012. Pros: Location (close to boulangerie, cafe, Jardin du Luxembourg), size of apartment, balcony, check-in with Christine (Lo's mother) was easy Cons: Sofa bed got a little uncomfortable after 6 nights Don't make the mistake we made - you need the door code to get into the building, even if you have the keys. We loved the balcony, the light, the location close to Luxembourg Park for early morning runs, the lift. While the bed is a sofa pullout, it's a really good one, and firm. We ended up cooking much more this time than we had on other visits to Paris , and missed a regular oven for our Poulet Bresse. Overall a very positive experience and would highly recommend it for a couple.

Loik greeted me with a big friendly smile which made me instantly welcome. The apartment was clean and bright throughout. I would recommend his place to anyone going to Paris, there are lovely places to eat and supermarkets all nearby. The location was just perfect for me. I'm definitely going to stay at Loik's on my return!

I rented out Loik's apartment for my mum and brother when they came to visit me in Paris and just loved the experience, so did them! The apartment is very comfortable and nice. Big bathroom (hard to find like that in Paris!) , lovely balcony and fully equipped kitchen. Internet works perfectly and full of interesting books on the shelves. Loik is an incredible host--friendly, puntual and very accommodating to any and all requests. The apartment itself is beautiful, in a great location, with a homely feel. I would highly recommend this rental and host with only the highest regard.

Loik's apartment is a lovely light studio apartment in a great location. You can stroll to a lot of great cafes, restaurants & pubs. The Luxembourg Gardens are only a couple of hundred metres & metro/bus are very close. The apartment is a large room combining bed, lounge, dining & kitchenette. Glass sliding doors make up the whole wall facing the balcony & street. My 6 days stay in Paris in this appartement during Christmas was very nice. It's very warm and cozy place, with everything to feel like home. Spacious and light living room, comfortable bed, big bathroom. Loik showed me all necessary shops around, where for example I could buy amazingly fresh fish to cook.
