My friends and I only stayed over at Hermina's for one night, but it was great. She was really sweet and gave us extra blankets and provided us with clean towels. The room was clean and cozy and the bathroom was really clean too. The location was very convenient and I would love to at Hermina's if i was ever in Boston again.

Hermina was very kind to me and my two small children. We stayed in the townhouse for about a week and were comfortable there. It is not fancy, but it is a very pleasant space with plenty of light. Hermina told me she was about to paint the rooms, which should be lovely when they are done. There is a subway stop about 2 blocks away and I felt reasonably comfortable in the neighborhood. I did not have any trouble parking on the street.

The place was very clean and nice. It was really convenient and nice for the price it is listed at. It is within a walking distance to everything. One thing that I did not like most was the neighborhood was not that clean! I did not feel secure at the beginning but since there is a police station right behind the house, we felt much better! Hermina was very sweet, but we were disappointed that there was no breakfast. There were some leftovers and opened containers of condiments in the fridge, but nothing for us to eat for breakfast besides several slices of bread, which we did not know how long had been there.

This is a sub-divided house, with numerous guest rooms in the one building. It's really easy to get around the city, as the house is really close to a train station. Four of us had the whole townhouse to ourselves! It was perfect with big beds for all of us. Hermina was very accommodating in every way including bed types, arrival and departure times. We stayed for two nights. The location is excellent, in a residential suburb, but only 5min to the metro, and surrounded by excellent Vietnamese restaurants. The rooms are clean, and the shared bathroom is not a problem, as there is always enough hot water. There is internet and tv if you need a rest from sightseeing. There is not enough space here to say all the wonderful things about staying with Hermina. She is a tremendously gracious host and makes you feel right at home. She will sit with you for breakfast (or margaritas), invite you for tea and make you feel like you're part of an extended (often international) family. Hermina provided a lovely townhouse apartment for me and my friend, Debbie. She was accomodating and had a lot of little extras, fresh fruit, cereal, etc. The place is centrally located, a block from the T Station and a local library branch, where we were able to print boarding pass. It was also right next to the Police station.

After a little confusion as to which room we were staying, mis-communication mostly, My boyfriend and I stayed in apartment H, which was PERFECT! I would even love to live there if I could! I was a cute mini apartment that offered privacy, which is all we really wanted. Very comfortable and once we finally met Hermina, she was lovely as well.

Hermina was very warm and welcoming. She took me in stand by when my other accommodations didn't work out. The townhouse is tucked in the back and off the street and borders a police station, so it is very safe. It was very conveniently located near the Fields Corner station on the red line. The room/house was very basic, but there is a full kitchen and Hermina had it stocked with basic breakfast items, coffee, tea. I met some really lovely people while staying there.

Very inexpensive price and convenient location to central Boston. I would recommend the rooms in the basement/cellar which are 2 larger rooms with kitchenettes and a full bathroom shared between them. There are 4 rooms upstairs which share 1 full bathroom and there is an additional half bath (WC) downstairs next to the kitchen. The attic/loft room is quite large. For those who prefer a room and bathroom which is well cleaned on a daily or so basis, you may want to stay in a hotel.

There was some confusion about the reservation, but after discussing with the host, misunderstanding was cleared. We thought parking was inside the property, but we had to park in the street. I very much enjoyed my stay at Hermina's place. Being next to a police station made me feel a lot safer during my four-stay at Hermina's place. The proximity of the place to the nearest train station gave me a lot of flexibility as far as getting around, without feeling the need for a private car or using a taxicab. It was convenient to have the small Apt 2 to ourselves, but this apartment seems far less comfortable and welcoming than the main house, so we spent as little time there as possible. For the price you cannot beat this in the Boston area. Reasonably close to Boston, 45 minutes on T or if you take a cab it's $20 and it still takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Just remember this is an AirBnB stay. Everything is nice but it is not perfect. We were four and stayed in the basement. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. Linen and towels were provided. Street parking is free, safe and easy. Free wi-fi is a major plus for people who are in town working. Unfortunately I didn't meet Hermina who I heard is a wonderful person, but her friend Tigran who was taking care of the house was very helpful. While not a traditional BnB in the sense that the host prepares meals an such, it offers convenient access to the city from her location. Hermina's place is great! Even if she's not home, she'll make her house accessible and its easy to feel at home! I stayed for three nights in June and I have no complaints. She invited me to eat with her (she's an awesome cook) when I got back one day. She had no issues with me doing a load of laundry and I had my own key to come and go. this is a great place for the price, close to the city using the t-rail. We stayed in the basement on a warm night and it stayed cool. The only issue is with an old house you have the creaks of everyone walking, the pipes running with everyone using water. But that was part of the charm of staying in an victorian house in Boston.

Hermina is a consummate hostess, she arranged for our visit to her home at a time when she herself had to fly back unexpectedly to Armenia. The house had free street parking and is very convenient to the red line metro. It should be perhaps noted that Dorchester isn’t Boston’s most salubrious neighbourhood and the house is next to a police station with the attendant noise from the sirens, this could influence travellers with small children.

We spent a delicious week-end in Hermina's house. She took good care of us and had plenty of good advices on different locations to visit. Her house is peacefull, colorfull and really convenient (just a block from the subway). I will definitively recommend it ! We had a great stay with Hermina, she went out of her way to accommodate us on a busy travel weekend. We were a group of four and we took up two rooms; one which being in the basement which was large and comfortable enough for three of us. She makes you feel at home and is very courteous and welcoming. We would stay with her again in a heartbeat.

Hermina's house was a bless in my stay in Boston: Situated in a family quite neighborhood, three blocks close to the red T. The house's room was ventilated and luminous. You are not a simple guest there, because Herminia does all in order that you feel like a real member of her house. Hermina's a gracious hostess. Her home in Dorchester is a very short walk to the Field's Corner station on the T, and the main living areas and bathroom in her home are all clean and comfortable. We stayed at Hermina's for the July 4th weekend. Her place is bright, airy and clean. It's also really convenient for the Metro. The only downside to her place was that it's right next to a police precinct and it was really noisy all night with all the emergency vehicles. However, it seems that was an aberration due to the 4th. We'd totally recommend staying there on a regular weekend or if you visit at a time of the year when you can sleep with the windows closed.

The "room" was the entire basement - so plenty of space. The subway is really close. Hermina is really friendly and helpful. Don't expect inner city though - it is a 15 minutes ride.
