  Marina is a really lovely lady and an excellent host. She made sure our stay was comfortable and she had even prepared our fridge with some vegetarian food which was really appreciated and very sweet of her. The apartment was really nicely decorated, spacious and well set out. The location was within quick walking distance to transport/grocery stores/delis.   Marina and Eli were amazing hosts, who helped make my NY trip stress free and enjoyable. They were quick to suggest places to eat or visit, either in Staten Island or Manhattan, which was much appreciated. The apartment has everything any single traveler could need, for any period of time, and I'm sure multiple guests could comfortably use it as a home base.   Great Apartment with great people.I stayed here a month and maybe at the end I was a little tired of taking the ferry every day.. But if you stay a week or two it's great. The ferry is free, you can easily find parking place near the ferry free too. I park all day without pay and have not had a fine. I recommend and if I return in the summer I could easily return here.

  First the pluses. We stayed for a week and this flat was about $600 less than the other larger apartments that were available in this area. This was a New York bargain. The first sense one has of this flat is that it is warm and clean, very clean. The wireless internet is very fast. The bathroom, which is almost new, is tiled floor to ceiling, with good fixtures and an excellent shower with lots of hot water and a great shower-head.   Marina's apartment is the perfect place to explore New York and the surrounding areas from. The apartment itself is pretty, private and practical with everything you could want for a long or short stay. Marina is an excellent host, informative about the area and how to get around whilst also letting me get on with things myself.   Marina and Eli were very flexible with my arrival, the apartment is truly cozy. Short walk to bus to get to ferry. Many Local stores around for food and basic needs. Very affordable and clean!

  Great location if you have a car to get to the ferry to Manhattan. a bus ride is also an option. The ferry ride is fantastic. Some Staten Island streets reminds in a way the streets of SF. The apart is clean and confy and Marina threats us with care and discretion. We'll be back!
