Joyce is originally from Los Angeles and went to Wellesley College before going to graduate school at Harvard. Peter is originally from Shanghai and recently finished graduate school at Yale. We have lived in LA, Boston, Shanghai and now in New York where we both work as consultants. We have a beautiful 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment that you should visit! We had a great experience with AirBnB when we used to live in Boston and we are eager to open up our home now that we have relocated to NYC.

The location of Joyce/Peter's unit is ideal for getting into the city. The apartment is perfectly equipped and Joyce/Peter were excellent communicators regarding all aspects of being in their home. I would definately stay again. Cindy

Staying with Joyce and Peter in Hoboken worked out wonderfully for my husband and I. They have a beautiful apartment and our accommodations were very comfortable. The location was very convenient to the city and for us to visit family in the area. We will definitely stay with Joyce and Peter again.

Very clean and nice apartment, felt at home. Peter was nice to help me setup my USA cell phone, he gave fresh linens, towels, and soaps and shampoo, almost felt like in a nice hotel. Bed was comfortable. I travel to USA often and I think after being at so many places, I found the right one very close to NYC. I recommend it to everybody. I'll be back soon too

Great hosts Joyce and Peter! I had a wonderful stay and thank you for all your tips and suggestions that helped me get in and around the place. The location of the apt. is a definite plus - just hop, skip from the NJ Path. From coordination to reception to the delicious muffins, I couldn't have asked for a more warm, friendly and comfy bnb stay. I'd stay there again, of course. Highly recommend. This was my first experience with Airbnb and Joyce and Peter surely ensured that it was good. My stay with them was very comfortable and they are a very pleasant and a friendly couple. They provided me with a key so that I could come and go as per my schedules. Their apartment is just like it is shown in the photographs and extremenly clean and tidy. It was such a pleasant stay here. It is very convenient and just five minuteswalk to Path train and another 10 mins to get in the middle of NYC! So we enjoyed the city life but also having privately quiet peaceful atmosphere when staying in the apartment. Joyce and Peter were very nice and the apartment is clean with 24-hours security and elevator. This apartment is also very kid-friendly.. Our five-year-old son also enjoyed it. Joyce and Peter's apartment is a great place where to stay . Everything was clean, cozy and comfortable. She had left a key for us so we could drop our suitcases in the morning and start visiting Manhattan which can clearly be seen from her windows ! a great sight. We have decided to keep the address and give it to our friends ! lol

I stayed at Joyce's appartment in Boston for 1 month (nov/dec 2009), and had a very pleasant time. She is very nice and gives you a warm welcome. She invited me to meet her friends at HBS and we cooked together regularly. The appartment was clean and tidy at a good location near the subway.

I enjoyed staying at Joyce's. She's a very nice person, and her place is in a good area as far as locations go. I enjoyed talking to her, also--she's a good source if you'd like to visit Cambridge and Boston.

How neat it is to have someone like Joyce open her home to a stanger and within 5 minutes you feel like family. She has a wonderful, clean, comfortable, safe, well located apt. and she will make sure you are welcome. If ever in Boston again I will surely stay there if her place is still available. (Buy the way, I recommend that YOU stay there too if you get a chance). I was even allowed to attend Harvard with her. Who would ever have believed that I could go to Harvard.

Joyce apartment was in a good location, neat and clean! About 10 minute walk from central square station, that can take you into boston and also south station ( where you make the connection to the airport). Thanks joyce :)

A glowing review... Joyce is a fantastic hostess and a great cook. Her apartment was extremely clean. Joyce made me very welcome, to the extent that on my last day we went to one of her classes together. I only wish I had stayed there longer and would most certainly recommend her to a friend. Joyce was a wonderful hostess with a tidy apt. She had meals available although I already had plans (too bad) & even baked some brownies (yum)! Even considering being quite toasted, the pull-out couch/bed was quite comfy. The view was nice & the neighborhood felt safe even late at night. Her place is close to a Whole foods & just a quick walk from the "T". Joyce herself is very lovely & sweet (thanks for the talk!). I'd recommend her to anyone! Thanks Joyce!

The location of Joyce's apartment is mind-boggling. There are two gas stations, a Whole Foods, and a Rite-Aid literally right next door. Less a leisurely five-minute stroll down the street there is also a Trader Joe's, a Micro Center (an electronics store), and a Starbucks. Furthermore it's situated right on Memorial Drive, a very scenic route which follows the Charles river around the southern Cambridge area and gives immediate access to the Havard and MIT campuses, as well the Back Bay... Joyce is a great host! The house is lovely and cosy, with a beautiful view of the river and a huge Whole Foods next door. The pull-out bed is big and comfy. The place has everything you might need (microwave, dishwasher, rice cooker, sheets, towels, blankets, shampoo, soap...) and Joyce is eager to share. She even bakes cakes and cookies almost every day!

Comfy convenience is exactly right! A very cute and clean place, with an awesome view on the river, whole foods right down the street and MIT not too far away. Joyce is very gracious and definitely goes out of her way to accommodate her guests, leaves helpful and clear instructions on what to expect. :) Thank you Joyce!

I've known joyce since kindergarten and she rocks. In addition, I was even her roommate when I lived in Boston. she is clean, courteous and most of all fun! she's also an NYC expert so she can show you were to party, where to relax and where to get the most out of your NYC trip!
