  Thanks a lot to Axel to give me a wonderful first experience in airbnb. It is very convient to live here. The guide is extremely useful and with a lot of details. The lights can be controlled remotely, entertainments are fruitful. A lot of fruits and soft drinks leaving in the house. I have a memorible trip in Paris!

  My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in September, and Axel and his place are just as great as all the other reviewers said. He really went above and beyond with all the little extras, like sodas to drink, shampoos to use, the guidebooks and maps on Paris for reference, plus use of his computer. I can't think of anything that this place was missing, definitely a fantastic place to stay in Paris.

  Simply put, great host. We have arrived quite early in the morning (6:15) but he welcomed us at the entrance and offered us the shower and allowing us to drop off the luggage (official check in time is after 14:00). The place is walking distance to Louvre museum and good access to pretty much anywhere by metro. I'll definitely rent his place next time as well.

  Nice change from your typical Parisian hotel. Location is very convenient. There are nice hidden restaurants right on the same street. I highly recommend chez meme. The studio apartment has plenty of gadgets fitting of the bachelor pad. I found everything in clean shape. The only bone I have to pick is the lack of space to hang or put my clothes away. I would give this place a 5 star if that were addressed.

  The apartment was awesome! It was clean, spacious, luminous and very very comfortable. It's easily one of the most accommodating apartment. Tons of refreshments in the kitchen, watching HD movies via projector on the comfortable sofa is a good way to wind down after a whole day of touring.   Axel is a most accomodating host. He helped us with our bags and waited patiently for us to arrive from Gare du Nord station. The apartment appears exactly as the pictures and is very clean.   Axel met us outside and graciously helped carry luggage up to the apartment. He had a book with instructions on everything we needed to know. The apartment was tidy and clean enough that we were comfortable. Just so guests aren't taken by surprise you should know that there are a number of sex shops around and if you walk far enough down St Denis you might run into prostitues at certain times.   Phenomenal location and the amenities are better than most Paris hotels that cost twice as much. We didn't get to meet Axel face to face, but he was very responsive to all our attempted communications. He was also very patient. He even has a guidebook in the apartment that explains how to use the entertainment system and other appliances. If you're doing Paris, you can't do much better than this place.

The kitchen and bathroom were both fully stocked and the tap water was even drinkable, which I'm not used to.   Axel's place was great! Was slightly turned off by the sex shops upon first arrival but they are totally harmless and the neighbourhood is actually really great! Super central location to everything, you can literally walk everywhere. Great food, drinks, and shopping all within blocks of your doorstep and after a long day of exploring the city Axel's huge HD movie selection is great on the projector!

  Having read the reviews in airbnb, my expectations were high. And we were not disappointed. The studio is wonderful, with plenty of space and good kitchen and bathroom areas. Some of the extras such as the projector with HD films, computer and fully-stocked fridge were amazing. Although we only stayed in Paris for 3 nights, Axel was very helpful and understanding. I can completely recommend Axel and his aparment.

  Alex's apartment is located in my favourite area of Paris, by Le Marais, walking distance to Pompidou, Notre Dame, Opera, etc... so convenient!   OK so I'm not gonna lie...getting to Axel's and seeing the sex shop downstairs first, I thought to myself "uh-oh"....But it was FABULOUS. Not only was everything clean, with a fridge stocked with diet cokes, and a bathroom featuring about ten kinds of shampoo - but Axel also leaves meticulous instructions for everything, and was available for any additional queries one would have in navigating the city of lights.   Axel's place is extremely conveniently located. If you enjoy walking, the Louvre is only 15 minutes away. Plus, the amount of space you get beats any hotel room hollow for the price! Full size fridge, big lovely bath tub and wifi - All luxuries. I spent the trip hopping on the Velib bikes - Didn't use a taxi once - and was able to see all the neighborhoods of the city. His apartment was perfectly clean, well-located, and complete with everything a traveler could want: a washing machine, drinks in the fridge, 10+ kinds of shampoo, a DVD library, etc. Alex has even created a thorough guide to navigating his apartment and the surrounding neighborhood.   We had such a great time staying at Axel's Paris apartment for two nights. The apartment has everything you need, the breakfast provided was so lovely and Axel was a great host. We had trouble with luggage lost by Air France and Axel went above and beyond in helping us stay in touch with the airline and in meeting them to have the bags delivered. He saved our short stay in Paris with his help! We look forward to going back again and having more time to see the city.

  Axel's apartment was ideal. He was so nice and accomodating. He agreed to meet us at any time to check in which was helpful since our plane was about 3 hours late. We could walk to Notre Dame in about 10 to 15 mins. The place was so clean, quiet and had instructions on how to run everything from the projector TV to laundary. He even had some breakfast for us.
