Judah's place was PERFECT! It is a lovely apartment with sizable rooms and not overly furnished. The location was the best part. I was looking for a last minute place to stay in New York during the holidays, and Judah came to the rescue! All of his rooms were booked for my dates, but he offered a fold out couch in his living room which turned out to be quite comfortable and warm. This was my first time to use "airbnb" and I am already planning to use the site again. This wonderful apartment, located at the corner of 96th Street and Broadway just above the 2, 3 express trains, is on the 5th floor of the building. The apartment is as pictured on this site with a lovely new sofa and a very comfortable bed with feather-down pillows. The apartment was exactly as advertised and could not have been more convenient. Right at the 96th Street station, and surrounded by great restaurants. Judah was a most cordial host, waiting for me at the apartment late on a Wednesday night after a late flight. Yes, it's a bit noisy, but if you want quiet, don't stay in the Upper West Side of New York!

My family and I had an excellent stay at Judah's apartment. It was clean, warm( important as we seemed to have arrived in the middle of a blizzard!) and comfortable with a good shower. The location was very central and made getting around NYC very easy. I was concerned about noise given the flat faces main roads but actually it was not a problem. The telephones provided by Judah were very helpful. I would stay here again.

Judah was able to meet us but he arranged a friend to let us in and show us what to do. The fellow was great: on time and very helpful. The double bed was very comfortable, and I had multiple long baths because the bath was very comfortable. The couch had one part that wasn't supported and so it was uncomfortable at times for both my wife and I to watch TV at the same time: it just needs to be fixed. This is a very good and hassle free location and a very pleasant apartment. Our host was in regular contact despite being overseas himself. This is the first time we have used an airbnb or a similarly arranged property and would not hesitate to do so again based on this experience. If you want to stay in an apartment that is in the best possible position to access New York York City; the best cafes and restaurants (especially kosher); Museums and Art Galleries; Central Park; the subway and buses, then stay at Suite 96. We had a great stay at Suite 96. The location was really convenient, the room was clean, and Judah was very friendly and helpful. Plus the dogs allowed policy was a huge bonus. Our only glitch was that we had a problem getting the key to work one night, but Judah was incredibly responsive to our crisis and even offered to drive up to the apartment at midnight to check out the lock himself. Excellent apartment in a beautiful street, seconds away from Central Park and minutes from cool bars and restaurants on Amsterdam Avenue. A cozy, neighborhood feel, with shopping around the corner and very handy access to subway, literally few meters away. This is my second stay at Studio 76. Judah is a great host! The apt is always clean w / fresh sheets and towels. The kitchen is stocked w/ plates and utensils necessary for cooking and dining. Judah was a very helpful host, he was there when we arrived and also provided us with a mobile phone, what was great ! The studio was clean and the pictures in the site are accurate. The only problem is the entrance, to get to the studio passing the trash cans is not very nice and kind of difficult with bags and luggage.

One of them, the 72nd St station, has the express train that is only 1 stop away from Times Square and will have you down there in less than 5 minutes. We had a wonderful stay at Judah's place. The condition of the apartment was sparkling clean and very very comfortable and quiet. Since it is on the 5th floor on the corner of the building, the view out the windows was amazing, and I could have spent much more time just gazing away. The apartment could not have been more perfect, the subway was less than a 1 min walk from the font door, central park only a little further, loads of awesome cafe's and delis just down the road and a brilliant selection of restaurants. During the eight weeks that I lived in Studio 88, Judah was the perfect, attentive host. The Studio itself is also pretty well perfect (aside from a noise problem with the heating, that will be definitely resolved). I hope to come back next year and I am sure I can't find a better place!

The apartment was very roomy with tall ceilings and a wonderful view of Broadway and 96th. Two radiators made it easy to keep the apartment warm, and the cable TV with DVR made it easy to stay home and relax. This is definitely just a place to crash in. You won't want to spend any time in the room, which is just a bed and four walls. It also bothered me to be so far down in the basement. Otherwise, the bed is comfortable and the shower good.

This apartment is in a great location on the upper west side and is newly refurbished and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the TV...huge. Although the access to the door is a little diminutive and dark, Judah supplied a small light that was helpful. He was very attentive and flexible. We will definitely stay here again!

The 76th St studio apartment is a wonderful alternative to a hotel, and our host Judah was prompt and courteous. It's clean, spacious, comfortable and well-located. The only "necessity" it lacked was a coffee maker of some sort, and Judah seemed open to correcting that at a later date. (He must not be a coffee drinker.) I loved my little piece of New York Heave at 88 St. It was a fantastic location. Dealing with Judah was easy and simple. If I needed anything he was just a phone call or text away. But pretty much he just left me be and I just enjoyed the location and the amenities. My only advice is if you are catching the subway get in the very first carriage so you can just hop out when you arrive at 88th Street. Would definitely stay there again and thank you again Judah.

Judah's place was in a very good location. It is nice and clean and the only problem is that needs some shelving and hanging space (as I explained to Judah). He obviously has done a lot of work to make it so presentable. It is a bargain for the money.

What a great place.. It is clean, safe and the bed is truly a bed, a very comfortable bed. The location is equally as good. The subway is w/n a few blocks and easy to walk to. We had a had a nice stay in New York. Judah's sudio apt was clean and had the basic necessities. It was very convenient to a subway station (1/2 block) grocery store and great Italian resaurant. Judah was a very friendly and helpful host. Our only problem was parking. We had a rental car because we were doing a road trip after our NY stay. We will never have a rental car again in NY. This is just FYI for visitors that have never been to NY.

I liked Judah. The bed was comfortable but the room was in the basement and not that inviting. I couldn't get phone reception, though Judah offered to lend me his phone, Also the bell was not working and it was a bit of a hassle arranging for me to get into the room. I think $110 for the room was too expensive for what you get.

Judah's small apartment is fairly conveniently located, near to subway and several markets. Restaurants are 4 - 5 blocks away on Amsterdam Ave. The apartment itself is somewhat small but not too much so. However all the drawers and tiny closet were filled with Judah's things. We just spent 3 nights at the studio on W. 88th and everything went great. The apartment was clean and had all the conveniences we needed. It was 1/2 a block to the subway which made it easy to get to all the attractions on our list. Also only 1/2 block away, Central Park was lovely for walks in the afternoon. Be aware that the room is in the basement with not much of a window, but since we were only there for about 7 hours to just sleep one night, that was no big deal.

Like everyone said, it was a home away from home. Neighborhood so peaceful and quiet. A skip and a hop away from two big markets, Fairway & Westside Market and only a few blocks away from Central Park, American Museum of Natural History, and The Dakota. Enjoyed the clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Judah was a gentleman, always reminding us to "give him a call" if we ever get lost or need help.

I'm from New York but don't live there anymore. I needed a homebase and Judah's place was perfect. This was my first airbnb experience and I would definitely use the service and Judah's place again. The place was clean and quiet. The location is near Central Park, plenty of restaurants and tons of public transportation. Judah's apartment was great for our one-night stay in the Big Apple. It was clean and plenty big for our visit, and at a great location. If you want to watch some TV, his huge HDTV was lots of fun. Be prepared for the below-street level entrance, next to the garbage cans - but that was pretty much the only (minor) negative. The apartment worked out great for us, and we were delighted with the arrangements. Judah was a great host and very flexible with our meeting times.
