I'm a 28year old PhD student working at the university of Amsterdam. I studied Medical Biology at the same university and I live together with my girlfriend, three cats, one love bird, and two zebra finches in my own apartment in Zaandam, just outside Amsterdam.

Richard had a great time getting to know Boston and the locals and shared his experiences with us before heading off to his biology conference. We learned a good bit about the state of current biological science as well. And of course Richard was a perfect guest: charming, warm, friendly and aware.
