Editor, Journalist
I am a 29-year-old Australian journalist. I'm a nice guy and well-traveled. I've written a book, Beijing Blur (Penguin 2008), an intimate yet far-reaching account of modernizing China’s underground youth scene. After completing a masters in journalism on scholarship at New York University in 2007, I returned to Australia where I worked as the executive producer of triple j's award-winning national affairs program Hack. Since then, I have produced a variety of Australian television and radio programs. I am in SF as the new editor of the Climate Desk - the climate project partnership between Mother Jones, The Atlantic, PBS, Slate, Wired and Grist.
