Our current favorite. Get there by 5 (it closes at 7pm) Grab a lawn chair when you arrive and find your perch on the huge lawn with bicoastal views to watch sunset, eat great food and delicious drinks. It is the Maui Ocean Vodka distillery so if you go early, you can also get a tour.

This is the black sand beach IN HANA! You will need reservations, I recommend the 10:30 -12:30 time slot to give you time to get there. About 2 hours drive from here. Continue on to Hana town as it is only another 20-30 min. down the road.

Beautiful National Park.....great for sunrise (you will need reservations) or Sunset (No RSVP needed) and gorgeous in the middle of the day too. Bring a jacket, 10,000 feet in elevation.
