We have only gone to sunset here and sat on the patio. We have never had dinner in the restuarant. If you want a romantic sunset, the patio of Merriman's cannot be beat. You walk through the restaurant and out to the point. There are tables, couches, fire pits. It's popular and pricey, but it's very worth it. We order some puupuus and wine and enjoy the fabulous view.

Another location with a stunning view. This restaurant is in the Napili Kai resort right on the beach. There is a restaurant, bar area and patio. Reservations are needed for the dining room. Good drinks and good food. Their happy hour is very good too.

Parks & Nature
Napili Bay
Good beach with decent snorkeling on both ends.
Shopping
Okay, this is more than a shopping mall. This is a shopping mall on the beach. There are lots of pricey shops here (Tommy Bahama, Na Hoku, Maui Divers, Sephora, Maui Hands) but there is also dining toward the water (Leilani's and Hula Grill.) The Monkeypod is coming soon - again looking toward the water. So once you are done shopping and eating, you can walk on the beach walk past all the resorts. If you are wearing your swim suit, you can snorkel at Black Rock. There are beach showers along the way. Stop at the Hyatt and have a cocktail in the Grotto Bar behind the waterfall. If you park in the Whaler's parking lot, you can have your ticket validated with purchase.
