Lovely and spacious apartment in the heart of Rome, near the Colosseum, Roman Forum and many other tourist sites such as the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and San Giovanni in Laterano. The apartment is in a pleasant residential neighborhood (called Esquilino, one of the seven hills) yet just a short walk from the Termini train station, where you will arrive if you take the express train from Fiumicino Airport or arrive on a long distance train. A big and convenient supermarket is just 100 meters away on the same street. Right downstairs is an excellent bakery and on the corner is a popular restaurant. Other restaurants, shops, caffés, and gelato shops are nearby.

Besides being very convenient for walking to many tourists spots, the apartment is ideally situated for using public transportation. It's just 100 meters to the Metro A line, or a short walk to many bus and tram lines. It's a ten minute walk to Termini station and the Metro B line. From the Termini station you can take the express train to the Fiumicino airport.

The apartment is on the third floor, with a lift in the building.
Very quiet, bright, charming, colorful and spacious. Big living room with king-size sofa bed, bedroom with king-size real bed, bathroom, kitchen. • A wonderful time for our young family. Plenty of room for ourselves and three children and easy walking distance to the Colosseum and Metro. Luca was a warm and gracious host. Bakery downstairs was an extra treat. Would love to return someday. Thank you, Luca!

  • Luca's lovely apartment is well equipped, very clean and a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Its location is excellent and there are shops for food etc. nearby. Luca is a very helpful host and if I were to return to Rome I would again stay at Air of Colosseum. Grazie, Luca!

  • Es war einfach toll. Die Wohnung ist zentral und bestens ausgestattet, Luca ein perfekter Gastgeber!

  • Luca's apartment was exactly what we were looking for. It is walking distance to many of the attractions, but still away from all the tourism craziness. Upon arrival Luca greeted us, gave us a tour of the apartment, and showed us a book with tips from previous guests. We loved the tips from all the people before us. It helped us find a great restaurant on the first day and find our way around. Luca also left us a bowl of fruit along with milk and juice! We loved our stay and felt we got to experience life as a Roman. Also, the bakery downstairs is wonderful!!! Thank you Luca!

  • We have stayed at this apartment a whole week in March 2012. It was absolutely a fantastic experience! Luca is a great host, profiding us with all the information about (how to get to) the apartment, the surrounding, Rome itself, restaurant tips, etc. well before we started our journey. He always respondended immediately on our questions and was always within reach during our stay at the apartment. The apartment itself is very nice, comfortable, quiet and located very strategical so you can walk to all the major attraction of Rome easily. But its also close to the Termini train station, a metro station, good restaurants and supermarkets (just down the street). Highly recommendable.

  • Excellent location. Loved the Bakery next door!!! Apartment was clean and worked out great for our family of 5

  • Our 7 day visit to Rome was made so comfortable with Luca's lovely, spacious, clean and well-located apartment. Important to us were a comfortable bed..good hot shower...good internet connnection, good location. It had all that plus Luca was a very helpful host...checking in on us by email to make sure everything was fine. We were greeted by Luca who explained the internet and the heating system and left fruit, milk, juice and wine for us, all of which were much appreciated. Really nice location..easy walk from train station, colosseum, metro, bus stops, and lots of nice churches and neighborhoods. It was a long walk to the Vatican and Pantheon but we thought it was much nicer being out of the crowded touristy center. Bus and metro could take you there easily. There is also a great covered market across the Vittorio Emanuel Plazza that has fish, produce, meat...most mornings. We really couldn't have had a nicer place to stay...high ceilings, nice windows, a welcoming courtyard...loved it!!

  • Alles Wunderbar! We will come back!

  • We had a splendid stay in Luca's apartment, it was a comfortable and clean apartment with an excellent location. He proved to be a very attentive host prior to our arrival and during our stay as well. We would highly recommend him and we hope to return soon! Grazie!

  • We had a wonderful experience in Luca's apartment. Luca is excellent host, very helpful. The apartment is clean, spaceful, quiet and in a fantastic location, very close to the most of the attractions and metro station. Downstairs is an excellent bakery and a grocery shop in case you need it. On the corner you can find also a very good restaurant. All in all, a great place to stay and we'll be back for sure.

Quite different cultures, I have to admit, but probably one fills the gap of the other. I have decided to return to Rome because I truly love the Eternal city, its beauty and its charm. I couldn't live anywhere else. I always hope that my guests will share this feeling about this amazing city. "Life is a journey, not a destination"
