Large Apartment in Westminster

Having booked this apartment, we arrived to be given an entirely different room, nowhere near the standard of the one in the picture. After no explanation we quizzed the staff at the office, and after much debate we were offered a slight refund. We had to wait until 4pm for our room to be cleaned. The location was good (20 - 30 mins walk to most tourist attractions) but due to the hassle and lack of explanation I wouldn't recommend booking with this host.

location was excellent. very close to victoria tube station and many resturants and a super market. size was good. there was soap for the bath and dish soap for the kitchen. the bath towels are in need of upgrading if you want to call this a "luxury" apartment. ..make sure you bring your own handtowel. internet access very good. tv worked fine. we put all of our food in the fridge, as the first night we left something sweet out and had ants visit. :( the apartment is as pictured.

Perfect place to stay in London if you are on a budget - and even if you are not so long as you don't mind functional rather than luxurious. Clean and comfortable place to stay, and bigger than we imagined it might be. Don't be put off by the rough edges in the hallway and landing; that's a public area, and it does not reflect the quality of the flat. Also in a convenient location, with the office literally just two doors down the road. Perfect.

The best thing about this place is the location and proximity to victoria station (Which can get very busy at times). The shower pressure was a little on the weak side and the hot water might run out if a person is taking a shower right after you. We walked around the area at night and felt very safe. The internet speed was fine and has both wired/wireless although it slows down sometimes. There is a market a few steps away and it was very easy to get anything that you needed. The place was tidy and overall clean but could use a bit of renovation.

This apartment was perfect for us. It has a private bathroom and kitchen, a great bed (good mattress with pillow top), television with multiple channels and is a short walk to Victoria Station. If you are a neat freak then it is probably not the place for you...but we found it tidy enough. Don't let the hallway turn you away, the apartment is quite cute. The hosting is run by a business, so you don't meet or have any real interaction (which was fine by us, we just wanted an inexpensive place to stay). Every time I think of some small negative I remember that it was half the price of a hotel. Just note that you have to flick the switch in the kitchen to "bath" before you attempt a shower.

All in all we were very happy with our stay at the apartment. Alan was very courteous and helpful both before and during our short stay. He even let us drop off our luggage before the check in time because we arrived to London very early in the morning. The only complaint that I have about the apartment is that the water pressure in shower was very weak. It is a small apartment, but located in a very nice area with lots of restaurants around and is only a five minute walk from Buckingham Palace. It is also very conveniently located near the metro and even has a bus stop almost directly in front of the apartment.

the apartment was clean, comfortable bed and very well located. The kitchen is only suitable for dishing up takeaway food (you cannot cook here) but there are plenty of restaurants and takeaways in the area. The only issue is the shower pressure - it is quite low.

Great apartment, great location, good wifi, clean, light and secure. I would stay here again, my only gripe is the shower, not very warm, and my 6'1 husband had some trouble with the shower nozzle, but nothing to seriously complain about. You can leave your bags at nearby Victoria station if you get in earlier in the day, as we did, and there is a national express bus direct from heathrow to the station ( the apartment is kind-of between the coach and train stations) both cost, but are worth it, there is also a sainsburys very nearby, restaurants and cafes close, and it's in a private quiet location. not the Hilton, but a perfect base for a few days in London.

A very beautiful place to stay, in the center of London. Perfect for transport. Clean and quiet.

Studio très sympathique qui correspond très bien aux photos. Studio cosy, lit confortable, joli design. Très bons échanges avec Alan (qui répond très vite aux questions). Check in et check out très facile. Très bon emplacement. J'y reviendrais très certainement Le seul petit moins est la douche car nous ne savions pas qu'il fallait déclencher quelque chose dans la cuisine pour la faire fonctionner correctement. Nous le saurons pour la prochaine fois ;-)

Great location! Amazing location actually. Just a few minutes from anywhere in the city. Was able to call or email any questions. Wifi was very fast. Kitchen is big and useful, there is no toaster, but the oven worked great. Used the washer-- also worked well. Lots of hot water. The place was great, I would definitely stay there again! Tout s'est parfaitement passé ! L'appartement est conforme aux photos, très bien situé (situé à moins de 30 minutes à pied des principales attractions). Seul le ménage est à améliorer. Je recommande pour le rapport qualité/prix.

Wir waren im Mai 2012 zu zweit dort. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, super Lage, nur 10 Min. zu Fuß bis zur Victoria Station. Schönes Badezimmer im Apartement. Ausblick allerdings nur auf eine gekalkte Ziegelwand, aber da wir den ganzen Tag durch London gelaufen sind, nicht so schlimm - dafür schön ruhig. Die Heizung hätte mehr Wärme abgeben können. Es gibt für das sehr weiche Doppelbett nur eine große Bettdecke - gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die kleine Küche ist separat und für alle 3 Zimmer zur Benutzung gedacht - aber wir haben eh nur den Kühlschrank und den Wasserkocher benutzt. Alles in allem würden wir jederzeit wieder bei Alan buchen. Netter Service im Büro.

POSITIVO: La habitacion es tal cual lo indica la foto. Con espacio suficiente para las valijas y la ropa. La cocina estaba bien equipada. Buena ubicación NEGATIVO: debe haber un horario para el agua caliente dado que las veces que me quise bañar despues de las 23 horas o antes de las 8 no pude y nadie me pudo indicar bien el horario. Quizas le faltaba un poco de limpieza a una de las alfombras. POSITIVE: The room is as it implies the photo. With enough space for luggage and clothing. The kitchen was well equipped. good location NEGATIVE: there must be a time for hot water since the times I wanted to take a bath after 23:00 hs or before 8 I could not. Maybe, the carpet of the room needed a little cleaning.

We had a perfect stay! thx to alan and his team for the comfort and the tidy room. The room is a 5 mn walk to Pimlico underground station and to buses, pretty important if you move a lot during your stay. I recommend ws.

Great place. Super location and highly recommend. Only gamble is who your co-guests in the other room will be but that's half the fun I guess!

We had a great time at Alan's. He received us very kindly and we learnt to know so much about London thanks to him. A place I certainly do recommend to those who want a central, quiet and cosy room.

muy buena situación y amplia y buena habitación!

Nous avons passé 5 jours et 4 nuits à Londres.( et pas de pluie!!!!!que du soleil) L'appartement est très bien situé et facile a trouvé , il est dans un quartier très calme . Nous étions à 5 minutes à pied du métro et 10 minutes de la gare victoria. L'appartement est très propre et bien décoré . nous avons passé un agréable séjour, merci ALAN

Alan and his company were very accommodating. The apartment was in a beautiful area and was large and clean. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in London.
