Warm welcome BARRA / Salvador

Ok, here you have the real airbnb philosphy, Liliana really makes the difference because she believes on that. The apartment is beutiful, confortable and very clean. Having your own bathroom makes everything easier. The booking process was very simple, she answered within minutes my request and afterwards she gave me some good pieces of advice about my trip in general. Once there I felt inmediatly at home. She offered me to go along with her and her friends and then I was not any more staying in a bnb apartment but I was visiting friends, we made a lot of interesting things. I got the oportunity to live Salvador beyond the tourist experience. Definitely next time in Salvador Liliana will be my first choice.

Liliana is a very nice person, polite, pleasant and a helpful host. You feel very welcome, and you´ll get a nice, basic room with enough space and a lovely bathroom in this clean, charming apartment, beautifully decorated. Very conveniently and centrally located. Close to beach and only one minute walking to Shopping Barra.

Liliana made us feel instantly comfortable. Engaged us in conversation and tried to get a sense of what we liked in order to suggest things to do. Her love for Bahia was evident and her enthusiasm and recommendations on what to eat and where to go made our experience a really good one. She has a lovely home and I would encourage anyone thinking about place in Bahia to stay there. Her home is not too far from the beach and is close to a shopping mall, a convenience store and a bank, perfect. Though our stay was very brief, we enjoyed every bit of it.

I spent 7 days at Lilianas place and 3 of those days were Carnaval. It was the most increlible experience that I have in my life!!! Liliana is a extraordinary person very pleasant and helpful. Her apartment is located in a very good point of the city special in carnaval days. She gave me a lots tips about the city, interesting points about culture, arts and History. The only bad thing that can happen to you after stay at her place is... You will become addict ... and you will just to think about in repeat the same vacation over and over again... Like Me!!! lol For sure I will be there at the next year! Thanks Liliana for everything... no words to express myself how much I grateful for everithing that you did for Us! Liliana was a great, laid-back host. She let us have our space and we enjoyed many great conversations. Her apartment is beautiful, clean, but a little noisy during Carnival, as it sits closer to the main road. But this is common in Brazil, you can never get any sleep.

Liliana is a really relaxed and kind person. She opened up her home to us and made both my friend and I feel welcome from the start. The location is great for Carnival but also for exploring Barra. Have fun!

Liliiana's place is beautiful -- lots of great artwork. It is centrally located...a 5 min walk to Shopping Barra and a 15 min walk to the beach. Liliana was also extremely helpful in times of need ... I had to buy a new mobile phone and she helped a great deal. Plus she is open to hanging out if she's free. I enjoyed my stay with Liliana and know you will too!

Liliana was a great host and her house is in a perfect location for exploring the Barra district of Salvador. Liliana was particularly helpful with suggesting places to vist and was even so kind as to include me in an outing with her and her friends. Her house is wonderfully artistic and homey. I would highly recommend a stay at Liliana's place. Check out her photographs too, she's got quite a good eye.

Lilianna was such a breath of fresh air, and it resonates in her home. Her home is very clean, cozy and nicely decorated. She had no problem showing me around Salvador and introducing to me the culture and her friends. I can definetely say i have made a new friend after just staying with her a few days. You will love her and her place.

Liliana is amazing! I immediately felt at home in her colorful apartment and in the week I stayed with her, we shared hundreds of conversations, laughs, and even evenings out in Salvador. This was the first time in my travels that I would come home during the day just to... relax, and recharge. Yes, the word is 'home.' Because that's how it feels. The neighborhood is unbeatable. You are truly at the nexus of the city. I've always been able to take a bus and be anywhere in 20 minutes. And Barra (your neighborhood) itself is abuzz with street food, live music, chic restaurants, lively bars, and of course, the beach! And despite my limited português, being able to see the city with Liliana and her friends (really awesome people!) I felt like one of the locals. I was eating the best moqueca, watching incredible live-music performances, and navigating immense marketplaces... and not another 'tourist' in sight! Without Liliana, my experience would have been just a decorative bowl. But because of her, this bowl is filled an açai so perfect, it brings you to tears that you must eat it and it will be gone... ah... huge saudade for Liliana!
