Jeff was an excellent host!! Very friendly and engaging guy. I would highly recommend staying with him when in the Anchorage area. Also, he has a vast amount of knowledge about things to do in the town and in Alaska in general.
It was great. Jeff was very generous with his time and made me feel right at home in his house. I would him to those that want to experience Alaska and its true culture.
Jeff is a great host. Very welcoming and friendly. He provides us many suggestions of what to do in the area. The room is comfortable and clean. And the house is convenient to downtown, restaurants, and buses.
Jeff is a gracious host. His place is right next to the Anchorage Airport. He gave us great recomendations of things to do. His place is also close to the rent a car places which will save you money from renting away from the airport.
This was our first experience with airbnb. We received feedback from Jeff immediately when we booked which was quite comforting for us. Had no problems finding the apartment (thank God for GPS). Jeff & his roommate were very sociable & informative. They made us feel right at home and it was nice to have someone to talk to. However, the only thing that concerned me was the overall cleanliness.
Jeff is a great host. His home is welcoming, clean and he is a wealth of knowledge - for information on the area, places to go how to travel, etc. His home is in a great location- Easily accessible to downtown Anchorage as well as Denali, Seward, and Kenai.
Meeting Jeff is like being in a live Jeopardy game...his quick witted intelligence and broad range of knowledge is wonderful to tap. He and his friends invited me to a "theater experience" that was greatly appreciated. Made me feel right @ home.
I will definitely stay again should I have the occasion to travel back to Alaska.
Jeffs place is conveniently located near the airport, and a 20min walking distance to downtown Anchorage (there's also a bus nearby). It's a spacy and clean house, and Jeff himself is a wonderful host, very helpful, accomodating and very knowledgeable about the world. Recommended!
