We have a studio in Concord attached to our home. Our home is a 15 to 20 minute walk to BART (transit) and Todos Santos Square. There are also bus stops at the end of the street. We are next to an extensive regional trail system and 5 minute walk to Open Space.
The unit is furnished w/ kitchenette, private basic bath (shower,toilet and sink), private entrance, basic cable TV, and wifi. Our home is on a quiet tree lined street and has a large landscaped yard. We do have cats, although they do not have access to the unit.
The Kitchenette includes under counter refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, coffee grinder, toaster, dishes, glassware, cups, microwave cooking accessories. The unit includes linens and towels. It has its own heater and AC. It has one double bed and one futon that makes into a twin.
We can negotiate longer stays but would like to keep it around 3 months max. The room is not large enough for large groups - so we've limited it to two guests. We can discuss more if they are children and your stay is two weeks or less.
Concord is centrally located in the Bay Area, just an hour drive to the Wine Country, Pacific Ocean or San Francisco. We are close to transit for easy access to San Francisco, Oakland or Berkeley. We live in a quiet safe neighborhood. Concord has a fabulous farmers market and concert series in the summer on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and a pleasant walk-able downtown with a nice selection of restaurants to suit everyone's taste. Lime Ridge Open Space and the Contra Costa Canal Trail are steps away from our home and provide access to parks throughout the region. We are a few blocks from the Concord Community Pool and a few more from Markham Nature park.
