We had a wonderful time at Jesa & John's place. To start with, Jesa sent us perfect directions info to their place from the train station, included buses lines that will not work on day of my arrival - also, they placed a nice "Welcome" note on their door and help us with our luggage! The bed was very comfortable, the room was full of books and it was very nice since we love to read! It was very nice to have a private bathroom - by the way, very clean. Jesa & John gave us excellent directions to all places that we want to know, even where can we park our car in each place. Jesa was very adorable in listening our "adventures" in the city and a good partner for a tea! We would definitely stay at their place when the next opportunity comes up!

Jesa and John were great hosts. We felt very comfortable and landed with our first AIRBNB experience a direct hit. The room with private bathroom was very sunny, pleasant and quiet. Jesa's and John's tips for restaurants and the surrounding area were very helpful. We would always come back.

We had a very nice stay with John & Jesa. The room was perfect for our needs. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a private bath. We got lost on our way there and John was kind enough to pick us up. Once figured out, the bus and subway were easy to get into Boston. Their neighborhood square has some very nice eating options. We also visited Harvard Square and walked back to their house from there. I was trying hard to find an affordable spot in Boston to stay and was not sure how Somerville would work as a 2nd choice. It ended up working out great; a nice older neighborhood, easy bus and subway access to Boston, very hospitable hosts and a nice cat.

My stay in the house was easy and pleasant. Host kindly helped me to be guided on a place. Short conversations were pleasant and unostentatious. With warmth I remember my stay in Somerville and I wish Jesa & John all the best.

la de da de da a private shower and a tub you'll miss once your in a place not quite like this. Yes the private bathroom set-up is a dream, all to yourself just like home. You won't know it's joy until you have to share. Bottom Line, you don't have to here and that is the joy. The morning light is also a lovely wake up call when you leave the curtains open and enjoy the smell of spring.

This was our first experience with airbnb and we were very nervous - we are both fairly quiet and shy but we wanted something a little more personal (and as students, a bit cheaper) than a hotel. We loved staying with Jesa and John! The library was wonderful, and we really appreciated having the private bathroom. We were in town apartment hunting, and Jesa's feedback was super helpful! Their incredible, eclectic home definitely inspired our search. We came to Boston anxious and unsure, and the warm welcome and comfort we received from Jessa and John was greatly appreciated. Their directions and recommendations alone were worth the price of the room. It was in a wonderful location for us, and because of the beautiful weather we walked everywhere! I would not hesitate to recommend this host to anyone.

I had a great stay with Jesa and John! The room was great! They have a whole lot of books so it felt much like being in a library. Jesa was also a great help with navigating around the city and with recommending local places to eat and visit. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Jesa and John are very friendly and welcoming people, and they are very dedicated to making sure their visitors are well accommodated. I could not imagine a better place to stay if you just arrived in Boston/Somerville (as was the case for me), and I can not recommend this place enough!

Jesa & John are as pleasant as any hosts can be. They truly do all they can to make your stay the best. Moreover, if you'd like to have a chat, there are interesting conversations to have with them. I slept on the airbed which was surprisingly comfortable. If you wake up easily by light you may want to keep in mind that the room is shaded but not completely dark in the morning. MIT which was the purpose of my trip is a convenient 20 min walk down Webster Avenue. Overall: much recommended

Jesa and John are incredibly hospitable, friendly, and authentic. Upon meeting them I felt like I was reuniting with old friends. Their house is warm and inviting and the accomodations are comfortable, clean, and affordable. I highly recommend them!

Jesa and John are lovely hosts! Very welcoming and made me feel at ease immediately. Jesa was fantastic, providing great tips and directions. The bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly. Great location with quick and easy access to the bus. Wonderful local eateries too!

Jesa and John provided me with a very comfortable non-deflating air mattress which was a comfortable nights sleep. I have stayed with Jesa and John countless times and each time i have found it to be exceptional, the feeling of home is truly apparent in theirs.

Jesa and John are the sweetest hot ever! They've left a welcome note in front of the door when I arrived midnight. John helped me to lift my luggage (thanks a lot!) Their abode is cool and very homy. Jesa offered me tea several times and I enjoyed having chats with both Jesa and John. They give you a print out map and directs your orientation on where u are on the map. I have truly enjoyed my stay in their place which was more than what they usually allow. Ive had great conversations with both of the host. It is near bus stops though the bus routes drove me a bit crazy. You have to check out the wonderful Thai resto near their place - it was the best, finest dine in Thai place Ive seen, very affordable prices and oh-so-tasty! IF you have business in Harvard or in Cambridge, you'll love to stay in their place. Well, they are not "Super Host" for nothing!

A perfect stay with Jesa and John in Somerville! Always a great place to sleep and a great cup of coffee to drink in the morning! I appreciate the consistent home away from home while on business travel, so much that I brought along a business colleague. I will return and my colleague who joined me had a fantastic stay and will be back as well!

Jesa and John are simply top notch hosts. Everything from excellent pre-arrival communication, to detailed directions, to lending me a comb when I forgot my own contributed to this being one of my best ever travel experiences. Their little cat is very cute and friendly, and the air bed is very comfortable. Jess and John are fascinating, talented individuals with a wide repertoire of life experiences; be sure to take the time to get to know them! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cambridge.

Everything with Jesa and John was as described. There was a bit of a snow storm for part of my trip and their concern for me and my arrival was so thoughtful. I had a wonderful stay and look forward to a return trip!

not certain that i can do anything more than fully concur with the previous 2 recommendations. the bed is the most comfortable pull out i have ever slept on. the room is private and inviting and warm as pictured. and jesa and john -- love them. will be back soon (mid oct)
