Borne 2 Stay, Guest House, Room 1

We arrived in the evening and stayed for four nights. Our friendly host Kaveh gave us some good tips and advices before we started our first exploration of Barcelona. The guesthouse is a one minute walk from the Jaume 1 metro station. We enjoyed a nice stay in a spacious room with all necessary facilities right in the center of the old city. Thanks a lot!

I traveled with my husband to Barcelona and it was both our first time staying in the city. Upon arrival, we were pleased with the location of his place. Yes It's on a busy small street, but it is conviently located within walking distance of alot of great places! The apartment itself looked exactly like the pictures. Kaveh was there to greet us and helped us carry our luggage up the steep stairs.He answered all our questions we had about getting around the city and also had some great suggestions of what to see, since we only had a day and 1/2 to explore Barcelona. Our room was clean and the bed (most important when traveling) was very comfortable and restroom modern looking. It felt like we were staying at a hotel. And we were both surprised how quiet it was in our room at night. The next day, check out is at 10 am, but we wanted to still explore the city before we had to leave. Kaveh was nice enough to allow us to leave the luggage at his place and keep the house keys until we left his place around 3 pm. I would highly recommend staying with Kaveh. He was the perfect host and if I am ever in Barcelona again, I'd book another night for sure!

Kaveh was a great host- my friend and I arrived very late at night, and he was extremely accomodating and agreed to meet us even though it was past 1 AM. The apartment was clean and very comfortable, and the location couldn´t have been better. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Barcelona.

My mother and I stayed in the very clean, very spacious room 1 for 10 days. The apratment is in a perfect location. I walked to the beach every morning (takes 10 mins) and was literally within walking distance to just about anything! Kaveh's mother was visiting at the time and she is just LOVELY! they both were very concerned and helpful towards my mother who incurred an injury just before the trip. Kaveh was great in that he was never crowding us, and gave us lots of space. Any time we had a quiestion, we would write it on a notepad left on the couter, and he would get back to us very quickly. In addition, Kaveh has a BEAUTIFUL shop selling handmade light fixtures and jewlery. If you stay here, you MUST take a look in his shop. It is BEAUTIFUL! Overall, I can't thank Kaveh enough for helping to make my vacation in Barcelona as phenomenal as it was!!!! Thanks Kaveh!

Kevin & Trudy thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Borne 2 Stay with Kaveh, his lovely mum Rita, and we could definitely recommend others to enjoy staying in this roomy, very central, full of character homely residence in the charming Old Gothic area of Barcelona. Only thing I can say... our stay was not long enough in Barcelona!

We spent 3 nights at Kaveh's place. It was such a delightful experience, the room is big, clean and very private, not to mention its excellent central location near to lovely shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again!

Kaveh was a great host who went far over and above what we could have expected. We ran into some major problems and he spent all afternoon and into the next day helping us resolve the issues. In other words he was fantastic!! His location is central to the historical area of Barcelona which makes it easy to explore. Hoping to return again with a chance to spend more time.

Kaveh’s place was great!! Clean, comfortable, and even quiet… which after walking around the concentrated streets and alleyways of Barcelona, I’m sure you’ll come to understand how difficult that is to find. The place is in a fantastic location with the metro stop, a café, and an awesome pastry shop just steps outside his door. Its even a very reasonable walk to Placa de Catalunya where the Aerobus drops you off from the airport. It’s close enough to Las Ramblas to get your touristy fix, but we’d recommend you keep to the Born district and the nicer, less crowded restaurants/bars. There is also a bike rental place nearby which was awesome for getting around town on. As a host, Kaveh is very friendly and personable, and we appreciated every one of his recommendations. We only saw him 2 or 3 times throughout our stay, but he keeps a pen and notepad on the kitchen counter for us to ask questions on if he’s not around and he is very quick to respond. Our room was very spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable (an actual mattress as opposed to some of the flat, makeshift platform beds you sometimes see on AirBnB). The bathroom was also very modern looking and clean (looks as though it was remodeled recently) with a large shower that never once ran out of hot water for us. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! We would definitely recommend Kaveh’s place to anyone and would definitely stay there again!

I had some of the best time in Barcelona staying at Kaveh's. I met both him and his mother and they were both amazing hosts. From the very beginning I was offered some tea and then given instructions and helpful hints about Barcelona and the area I was staying in. The room was very big for two people, with a comfortable bed, and plenty of space for the clothes in the wardrobe and dressers. The room also has a very big mirror! Also, no complaints about the bathroom either! I think everyone would enjoy spending their time in Barcelona at Kaveh's apartment, especially since it situated in a lovely area of the city - very central, but not super-touristy!

Can't think of a better neighborhood in Barcelona to stay in than El Born – it's near the beach, and also well-connected to all of the city's attractions. Excellently located, the duplex was a clean, spacious and modern home away from home for us. Kaveh was a very friendly and hospitable host, making sure that everything was well sorted for us on arrival. If I ever make it to Barcelona again, I'd definitely choose to stay here again.

We had a great time in Kaveh's apartment. He was an excellent host, meeting us at the agreed upon time and showing us what we needed to know about the place. Everything about the apartment worked as we expected. We enjoyed having high-speed internet access, and being able to do laundry. The apartment is in a great location, in short walking distance of many restaurants, markets, and parks. The beach is a 15 minute walk away, and the nearest metro can be reached in about 5 minutes. The El Born area itself is one of the nicest places to spend time in Barcelona. One note: although the apartment is on a side street that sees no motor traffic, it is located next to a small bar. It's a great spot to drop in for a drink or a quick snack. However, on the nights that Barca is playing a football game, the bar can be rather loud. So we'd recommend earplugs if you like to go to bed before midnight on the weekends. Otherwise, do as the Barcelonans and go to bed late and sleep in!

Kevah is a very welcoming host, eager to help his guest have a pleasant stay. The apartment is also lovely - clean, cosy and well situated. If you're into quaint cobblestone streets, cute boutiques, homely restaurants and artsy cafés and bars - Borne is the place to be. We had a wonderful time.

We just stayed at Kaveh's place and it was great. He was easy to reach when we arrived and everything went smooth. The apartment had 2 double rooms which were adequate for a party of 4. Our little girl slept on the pull out sofa in the living room and it was very comfortable....(not like sofa beds in the US where you feel the bar on your back). So many eating destinations in the borne area and we even walked to the Ramblas area and the plaza c. area. The building itself is modern with an elevator which appeared to be in contrast to the other buidings in the area. Street itself was quiet until some mornings where the shop owners open up their stores, so you may hear shutters opening from below...however, we use a white noise app on our iphone so it did not bother us. Overall, Location is excellent and the unit was excellent.

Kaveh is a wonderful host. We were lucky to also meet his mother, who was in town visiting and she gave us good information about things to see and do, as well as Kaveh, so we had a doubly good time! Kaveh's home is in a fantastic location, walking distance to just about everything. It is also very secure, quiet and extremely comfortable. We recommend this to everyone who wants a stay in the old quarter of Barcelona.

We were very happy with our stay in Kaveh's apartment. The location is excellent. In the center of El Born, just around the corner of Santa Maria del Mar and many restaurants and bars. Especially the ones who know Barcelona will know about the charme and atmosphere of this quarter. Also Las Ramblas and the Cathedral are close (less than 10 min of walking). Metro station is around 5 min away. The apartment itself is fully equipped and has modern furniture. Everything was nice and clean. We were two couples staying there and there was enough space. Contact with Kaveh was very good - he was always responding quickly - before and during our stay. Definetely a strong recommendation from our side.

We spent 4 days in the apartment whilst attending a conference in Barcelona and it was absolutely fantastic. Kavah was a great host and the apartment was lovely, perfectly located and well maintained. Your a stone throw's distance from the Picasso Musuem & town center. Bustling las ramblas is just 5-10 mins walk. Very close metro station also. We had no problems at all during our stay and we would definitely recommend this apartment to any other traveller whether you're in Barcelona for business or pleasure.

We had an easy and hassle-free stay at Kaveh's apartment. Kaveh is very responsive (we booked hours before arriving and had no problem) and gave us tips about Barcelona. The apartment is modern, clean, and, most importantly, in a fantastic location in the Born, near the main church and tons of bars and restaurants. On the other hand, it is just 1min by foot from one of the main roads, which makes it easy to catch a taxi.

Great apartment with stylish interiors and fantastic location - 5 minutes to Rambla, 5 minutes to local market Santa Caterina with fresh grocery, 5 minutes to Plaza Catalunya. Our host Kaveh was very friendly and we felt just like at home! Highly recommended!

Kaveh is a wonderful host, and his apartment is a great alternative to a hotel experience. My wife and I were venturing over for a week to visit our daughter who is on semester abroad. After looking at hotels forever, she suggested this route, after reviewing we decided on Kaveh's apartment and were very pleased that we did. Top 5 reasons this is the right place to stay: 1. Kaveh greeted us at arrival, showed us what we needed to know. He checked back during the week to make certain there was no issue - that is hospitality! 2. The location - everything is just around the corner, great food, great drink, great shops/sights, the waterfront, Las Ramblas.....could not have been better situated! 3. Very comfortable and did not feel we needed to be out of the apartment all the time - over a week stay, this was important. There was enough room that were very comfortable, the kitchen was outfitted perfect so we ate breakfast every day, the washer/dryer, etc... 4. The safety and security of the place. This was never ever in question and was a very important aspect that concerned us on where we were to stay..... 5. Did I mention the hospitality of Kaveh, as well as the can't be beat location?????? We could not reccomend this p[lace higher....try it, you will love it - Gracias!

I travel to Barcelona first time during the month September and I’m able to say that I was really lucky because the weather was fabulous, of course in this point we can not avoid the place that I choose to stay, the apartment was locate in the area/ neighborhood of the old city just few minutes walking from the center and around I had all the bars, restaurants, stores etc. Frankly speaking I was not expecting to be so lucky because the house was just a minute ago from the metro station and this truly helps me to move from the house till the exhibition center and back. Of course we can not overlook Kaveh hospitality who was an awesome host, friendly, respectful and welcoming, the stay room was exactly like the photo And unexceptionably spacious with all the necessary convenience such my own suite bath, dining room, kitchen, wireless internet etc. Absolutely I recommend Kaveh apartment to my friends and of course in my next drip I will stay to the same place, Thanks Kaveh One more time for your beautiful hospitality.

Lovely apartment very clean in an excellent location, very near the best museums, historic downtown, the beach, restaurants and gardens, close to everything and well connected. Kaveh has made us feel at home, are hospitable and very meticulous, also knows the most interesting places of Barcelona, being a designer is very up to date with the latest developments in the city. He invited us to tea in their beautiful store lamps and sculptures ... with your lovely dog Molly. We would have been .....

Kaveh is great because he is a wonderful host who makes you feel very welcome. He knows Barcelona inside out and can recommend all the right places and things to see. A fantastic place to stay and spot on location. Would stay here anytime.
