  We enjoyed staying at Chris' place very much. It is very cosy, with all comfort and perfectly located. Chris gave excellent instructions for finding the place and a detailed booklet that explains use of all commodities. We loved the power shower and especially the Sonos Music System.

  Wonderful flat in central London! Comfortable bed, WiFi, coffee press, toaster, clothes washer - in fact, everything that we needed was there. It was a real treat to come "home" every night after a full day of sightseeing. Communications from our host were clear and helpful. We also recommend the Waitrose for grocery shopping - tremendous selection of freshly-prepared, ready-to-eat meals to take "home" to heat up!

  Great location and a trouble-free stay. Enjoyed the flexibitly afforded by picking up the keys from the security desk -- the lineups at Heathrow were long and I was glad no one was waiting for us. Recommend the nearby Waitrose for groceries and the 55 bus provides easy access to nightlife.

  The Barbican studio was a perfect place to stay for our week in London! Fantastic location, so close to the tube. It's light living space makes it feel much bigger than a studio and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The studio is lovely and cosy with heated flooring and a lovely big bath.

  Convenient location for central london. Confortable apartment and good equipment. Easy to travel around by underground. Nice and very helpful key delivering person. Chris is easy to communicate and give precise direcctions.

  The apartment is comfortable and very nearby the underground. Chris is a great host while he gives us clear guide for the apartment and nearby location information. One consideration point for those who like us carrying heavy luggage, since the underground station does not have escalators or lifts, also the studio is on the penthouse (1 floor walking on top of the lift).

  It's a lovely loft/studio with great view. It is clean and very central. I highly recommend Chris' flat. Newt time i visit London, I know where to stay.

  Great location and the apartment is very conveniently set up. I loved the soft towels and the floor heating! There are "Boris bikes" right out in front of the complex and the system works really well. As someone else said, the apartment does get a lot of sun in the morning so bring your eye shade. I definitely recommend Chris' place-- he is an excellent host and his communication is top notch.

  I was in London for 3 days in April, which was the start of my vacation. Chris's flat is in a great central location. There's a Tesco Express (I would compare this to a nicer convenience store), a few coffee shops (including Starbucks), and a yummy Indian food place. I found a menu in the flat, and I wasn't disappointed. I can't remember the name of the dish I had, but it was so flavorful and sneakily spicy that I actually *enjoyed* having my face burned off by the dish I ordered. ;) The Barbican Underground station is a well-lit, 5 minute walk from the flat. I found this especially handy when coming back from sightseeing later in the evening (keeping in mind that I'm female and traveled to the UK alone). The place was clean, organized, and inviting, and everything I needed was right there. As someone who travels for business quite frequently, I was much more comfortable and at home than I normally am in a typical hotel room. :) Also, Chris gives some very precise instructions on how to get keys and such. I was hugely relieved by this, as a transatlantic flight will drain any and all brain power. The guard who gave me the key also showed me where the lift was, which was a nice added benefit. Finally, the view from the place is pretty nice--while you don't get a panoramic skyline view of central London, you do get some lovely views of the sky. It rained off and on while I was there, and watching the clouds blow by was quite relaxing. All in all, if you're alone or a couple, and want to be very close to everything, stay here.

  Terrific apartment with everything you need. Very clean and safe. Lovely and cosy on cold nights. Location was great in terms of public transport and walking distance to a number of fantastic sites. By day the area is very busy but very quiet at night. Would gladly stay here again.

  We had a wonderful stay at Chris' apartment at the Barbican. The location is fantastic, just a few steps to the tube, the Barbican itself such amazing architecture, and the apartment is lovely - nice decor, warm, welcoming, very comfortable and clean, and quiet too. Checking in and out was easy. Chris is a very friendly, great host, quick communicator and made everything run very smoothly. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

  My stay in Chris' apartment was great. He is an excellent host, with great communication skills and looked after us very well during our stay. The apartment is in an excellent location and has everything you need and more. I highly recommend staying in this apartment if in London as Chris is a lovely person and was very kind to let us stay at short notice. The apartment is very impressive for a studio, with a brand new tv, and lots of attention to detail. There is a train station across the road, a tesco supermarket just next to that. Barbican is a lovely area and I really am happy I stayed there.
