Bright and Cosy 1 Bedroom apt

Good communication and recommendations. Very nice cozy apartment with lots of equipment. Comfortable bed. Kitchen was good for our cooking needs, and the dish-washer was a bless for our relaxation. Close-by to metro, and Velib station. Just a pity that we didn't meet personally, but all went perfect with email, sms and airbnb msgs.

This is my first experience with airbnb. I stay with my husband and 2 small children (4 and 7 years) in the apartement. Karine is great about responding an questions. The apartment is like you see on the pictures. The situation of the apartement is a little bit strange. The restaurants on the left and right by the enterance were closed. Unfortunately no nice restaurants in the neighborhood. The bathroom is very small. The bed, sofa and kitchen are ok. When we first arrived it was really cold and there was a weird smell in the apartment. There are a few games inside the room. The children loves to play UNO. View host response

The apartment is located near Saint Mande, a train station towards the end of Line 1 on Metro. It is about ten minutes walk to the apartment, including a climb to the fourth level of the apartment building (4th floor America, 3rd floor European). The apartment is located in a nice and peaceful neighbourhood, which feels very safe. The aprtment utilizes its available space in a very efficient manner. The kitchen area is small, but a dishwasher, a cooking range, a washer (which also has a drying cycle), and small appliances like microwave etc are very well located in the appartment. There is a grocery store about seven minutes away which is very convenient. While climbing the spiral stairs, be careful to stay close to the wall rather than to the railing to avoid missing your steps. They can be a bit tricky. I had a problem with respect to linen and bedsheets. They did not appear clean and I contacted Karine with this issue by email (she was away on vacation at the time.) She mentioned that her housekeeper had washed all bed sheets prior to our arrival, but I doubt it very much. Except for the bed sheets in the main bedroom, they did not appear clean, nor did they feel or smell fresh. The couch cushions also need cleaning as they have stains and are due for a wash. However, this is a problem that can be easily fixed. Overall, the apartment is very convenient. Staying in Karine's place was great! It was my second time staying there. Lots of space, extremely comfortable, and its has easy access to the best of Paris. Perfect!

My first experience.with AirBnB and it satisfy my expectation well, especially my wife. Karine fully equipped apartment really helped us a lot, particularly the kitchen. We do not use the washing machine and the dishwasher, not because they are broken but we do not know how to operate them. The stairs a little steep and small but manageable even with large backpacks. The proximity to Saint-Mande metro, about 5 minutes walking, is very helpful in planning our trip in Paris. Overall the apartment gives what it promises to.

Hello, Karine is the greatest host we had during our 3 weeks holiday. On arrival when we were dropped at the other end of the road by the taxi, we had to walk long distance with all our baggage & then we had to climb steep broken stares to reach Karine's apartment. We thought we are up to a Scoobidoo type of adventure. All 4 of us were panting at the top of the stares & open the door cursing her. When we open the door all of us were just eating great chocolate which Karine has left for us. She has given thought to every requirement & She is a really caring Lady. (Her family is really lucky to have some one like her around). Apartment is located at a superb location & it is very easy to contact Karine. Apartment is nice & clean. The place is exactly as described. Karine is great about giving detailed instructions on how to get there and her place was what we needed for our short stay. Her apartment is clean and decorated in that hipster vibe, but it's what I'd consider "cozy". Overall a good place to stay that's towards the eastern outskirts of the metro 1 line, but getting towards the action was no problem on the metro.

A perfect slice of bohemian Paris. A modern, well-appointed apartment in a building full of old-world charm. Plus a book and art collection that made us feel right at home. Thanks, Karine!

This was a great place to stay. It was perfect for my friend and I . It was nice to have a fridge and kitchen all to ourselves if we wanted to eat. It's a short walk to the Metro station and it was nice and close to the flea market. It was so nice, I started to think that I'd love to live in an apartment just like this in Paris.

We enjoy our staying in this lovely apartment. It is surrounded by tons of restaurant, and markets. Yet, it is in a quite neighbor. Easy access to Metro (5 mins walk) and CDG (40 mins). We would stay here again.

We have the pleasure of our stay at Karina. Cozy apartment with all amenities, comfortable bed. Metro very close - within five minutes, close to shops and cafes. You can reach Montmartre for 15 minutes. The next time in Paris, stop here. Elena and Nastya

We enjoyed our 9 nights stay at Cute 1bedApt. Loved the decoration of the flat, very cute, charming and pleasant. Very quiet, just around the corner is the street with all sort of shops, markets.. It was nice to find in the kitchen already olive oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, coffee, detergents for dishes and clothes, air fresheners, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, even spare bulbs! (two burned while we were there so it was nice when we saw the spare ones!:) There was free unsecured wifi internet which worked well. The heating also worked well. The only minus would be that few times in the evening hours there was no hot water in the shower and yes it would have been nice if the kitchen floor had been renewed, but it was visible on the pics that it was not renewed before we rent it. But the floor was not dirty, it was just old and damaged. The floor in the bathroom is new and neat and overall the apt. was very nice and clean. We would recommend this place, we had lovely stay.

hello.we were me and my wife for a week in the apartment. well we had a good time in paris but the bad part was the apartment. the bathroom was very uncomftorble. there was a problem with the hot water which was fixed the next day and karine was reachble and nice. but, when we came at landing to the aparrtment the building was in painting and the apartmwnt was very smelly from the painting. during all week the building was in painting. this is not what you expect when you come to vication and we ahould have knowen about it. i will add that the air bnb and karine refounded us for one night. the apartment near metro and its 25 minutes from the center with metro. to monmantre you can go by foot.

karine is an excellent host in the sense that she always answers promptly to every tiny question the guest might have she is easily reachable and gives various ways of reaching her. however i think that she should renovate her kitchen floor which is in an apalling state , also the kitchen is very poorly equipped,when we stayed there there were renovations done in the building and the staircase was filled with dust and a lot of stuff which the workers needed, maybe karine should have notified the guest the works were being done so that they might consider whether to take the apt or not, otherewise the beds are very comfortable and rooms are really ok. Although Karine was on vacation and couldnt greet us upon our arrival, everything worked out great. We were able to get into the apartment and get oriented very quickly without any troubles. The apartment was very nice and looked well-maintained - everything we expected it. Definitely would recommend.

Karine and I have been friends for just under a decade, and I can happily say that she's infinitely reliable and trustworthy. I'm also sure I could rely on Karine for all the insider information in whatever city she might be in, and Paris is no exception. Highly recommended, an excellent vintage!

I've known Karine for years, and having been a house guest many times, can say that she is a wonderful host, with a beautiful, clean apartment and an extensive insight into Paris. Staying with her is always a pleasure, as she's so laid back and funny- she's the kind of person who'll go out of her way to make you feel welcome and at home.
