I really enjoyed my stay at Karine's, and her book collection is wonderful! She was very quick to respond to enquiries and she returned my deposit immediately. I loved the neighbourhood the apartment is in, and its proximity to all the sights. Thanks Karine!

What a cosy apartment, it felt just like being at home! The apartment is 5 mins walk from the metro station, then just a 10 mins ride to Le Marais and Bastille. Cute neighborhood with all the shops you need just around the corner and a street market twice a week. We saved a lot of money by being able to cook our own food, and the apartment has a big oven and a dishwasher which makes things much easier too. Already looking forward to our next trip to Paris so we can book this apartment again!

Karine was a great host, she was alway quick to respond to emails and very helpful. Location is a bit far out but easy access to the metro.

What a great way to experience paris! The flat was lovely, the best value and funkiest flat in paris on airbnb. We arrived and karine welcomed us and answered any qs we had. The flat was very clean and tidy and had everything you could need and more: tv, dvd player, playstation, hair dryer, iron, great books...the list is endless. The sofa is really comfy as is the bed. Karine left out maps and leaflets on the sights of paris. She also left us towels which was brilliant. The area is really secure and has the most amazing healthy food cafe next door: be good. so yum! it takes 15 mins to get to the sites by metro, it's really convenient. I loved this experience because it was a beautiful little apartment, and it gave us a lot more freedom. You feel like you're living in paris rather than just visiting. I recently traveled to Paris with my family for 5 days and stayed in Karine's apartment. We picked this location because we wanted to stay in a quiet place and yet have access to the major attractions (Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysses, etc). Ever since we reserved this place, Karine was very prompt in answering all our questions about the place and giving us extra information. In fact she wasn't able to come to meet us when we got there, but she made all arrangements to leave the keys to the apartment for us and all we had to do was follow her very clear-cut directions. The apartment itself was very clean, especially the bathroom and kitchen. Karine had left some extra paper towels and toilet rolls. Since the grocery store was very close, we could just walk down there and get our daily supplies. The area was very quiet and so after a long day of sightseeing, we could look forward to a quiet evening. In all, we enjoyed staying in the apartment and would recommend it anyone traveling to Paris.

I haven't much to say that hasn't been already posted here, but I really recommend staying at Karine's. The apartment is just perfect. Comfortable, clean, cool and with just about everything you would need. It's a bit off the way, but the metro is close by and a taxi to st michel/st germain(which is quite far) will only cost you 15 euros. Karine is a great host. We didn't get the chance to meet her but she would always respond promptly to any of our questions. Thumbs up!

Staying at Karines made our first trip to Paris perfect! The apartment was clean, comfortable and really well equipt - a great home from home and a wonderful place to come back to after a busy day in the city! Really close to the local metro stop, & 10-15min into centre of Paris. Karine was very accommodating, friendly and helpful, answering any questions we had and returning the full deposit immediately. Best flat - ever! Perfect location (Sunday farmer's market was simply delightful) by the (in my opinion) best metro line, line 1. There's a bakery, butchers, green grocers and a wine shop nearby which is basically everything you need. The flat was in perfect condition on our arrival - Karine even kindly provided towels which was great seeing as I forgot mine. Bed and sofa are too comfortable for words, kitchen had everything. There are also adapters and a hairdryer. Karine was absolutely fantastic in helping me out with her local knowledge of shops and bars, even went out of her way to try and book me into a restaurant. Deposit was also returned, on the day as well I think! Definitely will be going back to Paris again and will be hunting Karine down to stay at her charming flat again! Highly recommended - I've already been pushing it on everyone at work.

We loved staying at Karine's place. While, as others have said, it's not in the heart of Paris, we enjoyed seeing a more residential neighborhood and felt like we were getting a real sense of life in Paris. It's very close to the Metro anyway. Karine was super friendly and helpful, gave us a brief tour, answered our questions, and offered any help during our stay. The apartment is very nice and quiet, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We would highly recommend it.

The apartment was great, newly renovated, just a few min drive from the beach. Karine was very helpful and welcoming. A nice place to stay if you want to explore Medoc region and enjoy some sun.

I've known Karine for years, and having been a house guest many times, can say that she is a wonderful host, with a beautiful, clean apartment and an extensive insight into Paris. Staying with her is always a pleasure, as she's so laid back and funny- she's the kind of person who'll go out of her way to make you feel welcome and at home.

Karine's apartment, both in Paris and in the countryside are great places to stay, decorated with taste and cared for in the smallest details. Definitely a great hostess, very kind and full of insider tips!
