Maison Des Sirenes 3 was a great place to stay. Nathalie was a great host. Everything we needed was provided. The Apartment was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The neighborhood was nice and all the people were friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

It is a beautiful place, same as the pictures! The place has everything you need. Interesting neighbor. There is a 5 blocks walk to the subway but its secure. Nathalie is a great host.

Maison des sirenes was a great place to stay! We loved the neighborhood and it was easy to get to Manhattan. The apartment was clean and light and close to supermarkets and restaurants. Nathalie was a great host and she helped us as soon as we needed something. It is a fairly big apartment so it was no problem at all for five people to stay there. Just a fantastic place to stay if you are in New York.

Nathalie and the place she hosts was great. We (5 girls between 15 and 49 years old) are very happy we chose this apartment. It was nice, clean and bright in a rather quiet street. The people living in the area was very friendly and greeted you. Five minutes walk to the subway made it easy to go downtown and good restaurants (we only tried the Italian though) nearby, also five minutes walk. If we had stayd downtown we would never have seen this part of New York and experienced this warm and welcoming neighbourhood. Nathalie was very helpful with information the last tips she gave us was to visit Williamsburg. Unfortunatelly we did not make it. But there will be a next time. And if Nathalie still runs this business we will be back to stay there. So 5 stars to Nathalie from all of us.

Maison des Sirenes 3 is awsome! We, a family with 3 girls aged 4,6 and 7 had a perfect stay at Nathalies lovely apartment. The apartment is very spacious, light and cool (air-conditioning!) and is beautifully decorated. We loved the bathtub-on-legs too. Nathalie is a good host, she is very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood has a lot of people from the West Indies and they were very friendly and welcoming. Several people would greet us while passing by in the streets, the atmosphere is very relaxed and easy. We had several dinners at Seraghina, a nice Italian restaurant and also at Peaches, an American restaurant. Both places served good food, welcomed kids and had very reasonable prices. In short, we would surely recommend this apartment and when we come back to NY we will stay here again! Niek & Babette

We spend a very nice time in the Maison des Sirenes this summer. The place is very nice and near a subway station. Everything was perfect.

We are a Swiss-Hungarian family and went to discover New York with 4 kids betwen 11-15 years of age. It was an authentic experience! La maison des sirenes 3 was one of the nice things we met there. Not only because everything was as described and as we expected to be, but also because everything worked fine during our stay and it was nice clean and safe. Nathalie is not only a nice person, but also an excellent host. She is uncomplicated, respectfull and knowledgeable. Upon arrival we were surprised by a few very hot days. In fact the first night we could not really sleep well, as the temperature inside was above 30C, which we are not used to. As I shared this experience with Nathalie, she immediately arranged an air conditionner to be installed so that there was no more reason not to sleep well. We also tried the Italian restaurant nearby at the Halsey Ave. I can confirm that all positive comments are true about that place as well. The people in the neighborhood was very freindly with us, especially at the laundry service at Hancock/Tompkins corner, where we dropped our laundry in the morning and collected everything nicely washed and folded in the evening, for a few dollars only. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you for your hospitality Nathalie and we wish you all the best in future!

Nathalie was warm and gracious and available. She made everything easy and convenient. Clean is important to us, and the apartment was very clean! The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. We didn't spend much time in the apartment, but it was a great place to sleep and recharge for the next day.

Wow! People like Nathalie are why I use AirBnb. She has a truly amazing apartment and cares about hosting guests. My partner and I met up with a friend in for a weekend stay--we could not have asked for more comfortable or welcoming accommodations.

Nathalie was beautiful, friendly and very helpful! The apartment was decorated beautifully. It was very clean and the one we stayed in had a great enclosed terrace space with outdoor seating as well. The apartment is close to public transit also. This place is a great deal! So glad I decided on this place.

Enjoy our stay. Very spacious for a family of 4. We slept very well with the REAL bed !!! Always nice to come back to Nathalie's place after a long day walking. Also very convenient by metro to Chinatown.

We had an absolutely lovely time in Nathalie apartment. It was such a joy to be there as the decor and detail in every inch of the space has been extremely well thought out. Fantastic light, perfect location and a really great atmosphere. It has inspired me to work on my apartment! A real home from home and very well organized in terms of keys etc. Thank you!

Habiter dans cet appartement fut une expérience beaucoup plus agréable que l'hôtel. Et que dire de l'endroit! Décoré avec finesse et goût, la maison des sirènes 1 est un lieu où il fait bon vivre... First I liked the appartment a lot, second I liked Nathalie and her family a lot and third I liked the neighborhood very much, too. So what else is there still to say? ;-) The bed has just the right tightness to provide a great sleep, the terrace has a cool urban vibe, the kitchen full of useful things, the decoration is romantic and shabby chic and I personally loved the speedy WIFI-connection - combined with the special atmosphere and nostalgic charme of the whole house it is a perfect place for a pleasant New York stay.

I had such a lovely time in Nahalie's beautiful apartment, I was drawn to it from the beginning and was not disapointed. There was nothing that I was in need of that wasn't there, I even found a socket adapter. If I were ever to return to New York, Nathalie would be my first contact.

The apartment was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. It was much more convienent than a hotel. We had one small issue with the toilet overflowing, but Nathalie was responsive and helpful. I appreciated the travel guides that Nathalie created. The neighborhood was welcoming, but a long walk from areas that we were interested in shopping and eating at.

The overall experience at Nathalie's was a good one. It was very spacious (enough for 3 beds), clean, and quite convenient to Manhattan. Other pluses: she had binders full of good reading material about NYC, Direct TV with tons of channels including premium channels like HBO, and a great terrace to unwind from the day. All of which would make me not hesitate to stay at her place again! There were some minor issues though: The bath tub (despite being clean) is a "bend down and spray" tub which made showering in the morning a bit annoying. During the day, the area feels very safe but late at night it can be a bit dodgy. We had a drunk guy follow us after we got out of the subway begging us to buy him a beer. I suppose this could happen anywhere in NYC. All in all, though I would rate my first airbnb experience a good one. Thanks Nathalie!!

Nathalies apartment was beautiful and extremely clean. You can tell that she enjoys hosting visitors. We enjoyed the roof terrace and were blessed with some lovely weather although with all of the things we wanted to do could not spend enough time there! Nathalie is very helpful and has a lot of information on where to go and things to do in New York. I would definitely return there. Thank you Nathale for making our stay enjoyable.

Nathalie was a true blessing. Our stay in her home was what made our trip to New York so special. I would recommend anyone with style, class and a desire to be truly comfortable stay here. She was so accomodating, welcoming and even invited me for dinner and wine. In turn, we took extremely good care of her home. There is a lot of great energy and love there! There really is no better place to stay in Brooklyn!! Nathalie is a dear friend of mine, and is a beautiful person inside and out. What she offers as a host and a home is beyond what anyone can expect. This place is not only gorgeous but also really inspiring.I was lucky enough to stay here when I moved backed from Los Angeles. It was truly like being in a exquisite resort somewhere exotic!! Highly recommended.

First of all Nathalie is INCREDIBLE!!! Her french sensibility is such a treat she is like a mythical creature that floats around her enchanting lair making sure that your every need is met. The house is WONDERFUL and its worth it to pay a little extra for her incredible breakfast!!!!
