Good Vibe Studio-Bikes, LAX, Venice

The Good Vibe studio apartment is a very lovely and comfortable place, we really enjoyed our stay. Be sure to check with the great host Corbin for very helpful tips on getting around, because LA will seem overwhelmingly ginormous for newcomers. Otherwise get ready to unwind and enjoy your stay in this beautiful place.

Corbin is DEFINITELY a superhost, I'm so glad that we chose his place out of the hundreds of other listings in Hollywood. We had an early check-in and the host rushed to get the place ready for us (someone else had just checked-out earlier that morning). Corbin was also very communicative, replying to my messages very promptly and was super patient with my incessant questions. It was my first airbnb experience so I was abit nervous, but Corbin certainly made us feel at home. He gave us helpful directions to get to Venice and Santa Monica beach via public transport, which is about a 20 minute bus ride away. The place is a bit far from Hollywood, so I would recommend people to rent a car for that. But other than that, the location was GREAT because it was in a very safe neighbourhood. Walking home late at night was not a problem at all. The amenities in the studio were VERY sufficient, and we felt abit spoilt in fact because it had everything we needed (and more). Overall, I highly recommend Corbin's place. It beats staying in a hotel (so many cable channels, cosy and comfortable place) and we really felt at home.

We had a wonderfull stay at the Good Vibe Studio in LA. The Severson family is very cute and we enjoy our stay with them. The hole location is clean, save and cozy and we wish we could stay longer at their side. After 2 nights we left to Vegas and maybe we check-in at the beautiful Seversons studio again on our way back to Germany. Thanks again for all your support. We really appreciate it. Michael & Maren

The place was cozy and had it's own entry way, so we didn't have to worry about disturbing Corbin and his family. Corbin provided a nice starter/welcome platter that aided in feeding the hungry tummies after traveling through several timezones. It was nice to have a place I was glad to call my own while in such a wonderful city. The location of the studio was perfect, close to beaches & a few quick food options. Towels, robes and a comfortable bed were nice to arrive to after long flights. If you are in the Cali. area I would recommend staying with here. I know when we return we will be begging to return to the Good Vibe Studio, where we had a great time and got some much needed sleep. BTW.. if you have the chance stop by Baja Cantina for some great mexican food.

Extremely personable host and beautiful place! Everything was spotless and in great condition. Easy, private entrance that makes you feel like it's your own place. The hosts were generous enough to allow us to use their washer and drier. Definitely would stay here again!

We had a great stay at the Good Vibe studio! Corbin was an attentive host and made sure our stay was comfortable. The studio is very well looked after -- a real handyman's delight. Having the pantry and fridge stocked with everything you need for a short-term stay was very convenient. We were able to have breakfast and head out full of energy. The use of bicycles was a real bonus. It enabled us to see a side of LA we hadn't seen previously as we rode the bike trail down the beautiful coast to Manhattan and Hermosa beaches.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Good Vibes Studio. Corbin and his family could not have been better hosts. They put forth such sincere efforts to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The studio is immaculate, stocked with great amenities and a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day exploring the CA beach towns. I would definitely stay there again!

Our second stay was as good as the first. Corbin and Kendall where always very helpful and accomodating. The location is excellent, close to airport and the "blue" line bus service, which is great if you don't have a car. A very relaxing and private place to stay. Thku from Doug and Jussie.

I stayed one night. This couple is very sympathetic. The room and private bathroom were very clean. The place is safe and quiet. I was loaned a bicycle to visit Venice beach. It was very good! I recommend them!

The Serverson family is adorable! I was greeted as an old friend and their level of hospitality is incredible! Their house is near the LAX airport (about 5 chilometers) so you are going to reach the location within a few minutes. I've used a taxi and it costed me about 15 dollars. Even though the proximity of the airport, the area is perfectly silent so you are guaranteed a good night of sleep. They are located near a college, so the area is perfectly safe: according to them there are some places to eat a few blocks away, but i was devastated by the flight from italy so i had to get some sleep instead of having dinner :) Definitely recommended!

Corbin & Kendall were great hosts. Both were very pleasant and super helpful with their suggestions on what to do. House was very clean and conveniently located to everything. A yummy breakfast was out for me on both mornings. There was a small problem connecting with the wireless internet, but they were quick to resolve it. I wouldn't hesitate recommending the Good Vibe (ette) in Corbin and Kendall's home.

It was absolutely an incredible blessing and delight to stay with these "Super" hosts! My twin sister and I felt so loved and welcome the minute we arrived. The breakfast was better than any hotels, the living area spacious, the backyard beautiful, and the bedroom & bathroom was a perfect size! The location is absolutely perfect to the airport, beaches, and everything you could ever need! They had amazing suggestions, and we were taken care as if we were family. We would go back in a heartbeat and were sad to leave!

Corbin & Kendall were very nice hosts at this BNB close to LAX. The bedroom was small, but adequate. However, the bedroom door does not latch or lock, so privacy is not as good as it should be. The bedside lamp was missing the switch to be able to turn it on and off, so we had to improvise to get the lamp to turn on. The bathroom adjacent to the bedroom was fine, and the lock on that door did work. The Wi-fi within the house was not operating during our stay, which was a big disappointment, since we like to stay "connected" when we travel. There didn't seem to be an effort to correct the router problem; instead, we were offered the use of their personal iPad to check our email. Breakfasts were delightful and filling. We weren't able to give a 5-star rating due to the aforementioned problems, but we did enjoy our stay nonetheless.

Kendall and Corby have been friends of ours for about 10 years and I would feel comfortable sending anyone I knew to stay at their beautiful and welcoming home. They are gracious hosts and wonderful people in general! Air BNB is a lifestyle for them and they enjoy the whole experience and especially meeting new people. I had the extraordinary good fortune of meeting theSeversons, Kendall, Corby and the irrepressible Carson, in September of 2010when Kendall and I participated in a 500+ mile bicycle/camping trip from SanFrancisco to Santa Monica to raise money for arthritis research. I was ridingsolo and, after seeing my frustration at experiencing 2 flat tires on the firstmorning, my wife realized that I badly needed a friend and the next morning shefound Kendall radiating what I've since learned is herinherent warmth and camaraderie at the tire pumping station. Needless to say,spending the better part of 8 days pedaling uphill (Is that even possible? Itsurely seemed that way.) is a good way to get to know someone, and Kendall andI soon became fast friends, laughing (mostly) and groaning (sometimes) down thespectacular California coast. Mywife and I live in Santa Barbaraand, blessed with home-owning children and grandchildren in Los Angeles, we've never had the opportunity to experienceKendall and Corby's hospitalityfirst hand. But knowing their infectiously warm and engaging personalities andwelcoming nature, as well as their integrity, personal pride and attention todetail (not to mention Kendall's skill in the kitchen), I am not at allsurprised at the laudatory reviews they've uniformly received on airbnb. TheSeversons are a family that will happily go the extra mile many times over for thosethey consider their friends and, as their guest, that's what you will assuredlybe.

We are good friends with Corbin and Kendall and they are exceptional people. Every time we visit their home, it is wonderfully comfortable and super clean. The neighborhood is great for walking and bike riding, the beach is close by and freeways and Los Angeles International airport are very convenient. We are aware of the positive comments from their AirBNB guests and they all speak the truth: you can expect a fantastic stay in their home as a living experience and as a starting point for many activities in Southern California. Corbin & Kendall are long time and dear friends that I’ve been associated with since my days living, designing and driving in LA. I’ve had the great opportunity to enjoy their friendship & hospitality for over 20 years now. I even had a hand in helping design and create wonderful storage spaces inside their home when they first moved in over Y2K. Since then I have known them to always love to travel and to be exceptional hosts. As a native Aussie, I annually travel back to the States to visit my daughter and always make sure to connect with the Seversons when in LA for a fun and always entertaining visit. We've been friends with Kendall and Corby and their son Carson for several years now. We all live in the same neighborhood and are connected through mutual friends. I’ve known Kendall…wow…for over a decade now. For more than half that time, my husband and I lived in Australia or the East Coast, but flew back to Los Angeles for visits. After a long plane ride, our favorite place to stay—even before we saw any other friends or family—was with Kendall and Corby. Theirs was the perfect place to relax and recover. Even before AirBnB, they were consummate hosts. Staying at their place, everything felt friendly and informal, but at the same time, everything you needed was there. And conversing with Kendall and Corby is not just entertaining, but often inspiring. We would leave for the rest of our Los Angeles obligations feeling refreshed and energized. When you stay with Kendall and Corby, just in the way things are set up, you can tell they’ve taken time to think, “if we were traveling, and arrived here, what would we want? What would enrich the experience?” And those are the amenities they provide. It doesn’t hurt, of course, that Kendall and Corby are experienced travelers themselves. I was delighted to hear that AirBnB was Kendall and Corby’s latest project. No project they undertake lacks in enthusiasm and effort, but this, in particular is a venture for which they were tailor-made, and it’s a pleasure to endorse them!

Corbin (or Corby to those of us who love him) has an infectious laugh for all occasions. Easy going and always full of helpful ideas and thoughts. Our family thought so much of Corby and his wife Kendall that we decided to become their neighbors. Andare a Los Angeles è stato fantastico, una città dai mille risvolti, piena di attività dalla più tranquilla alla piu emozionante. Fondamentale è avere una buona sistemazione e l'appartamento di Kendall e Corbin lo è senza dubbio. Ottima posizione, non lontano dall'aeroporto LAX ma perfetta per andare a Venice Beach, Manhattan Beach o Santa Monica, ma anche per raggiungere uno dei tanti ristoranti della città o fare una passeggiata per le verdi strade di Beverly Hills. L'appartamento, con ingresso indipendente, è situato in una zona residenziale molto traquilla; ottima base di partenza per un gro in bici fino alle spiagge o per pianificare una bella giornata a Disneyland. L'ospitalita di Kendal, Corbin e Carson rende il tutto ancora piu perfetto. Senza dubbio tornando a LA torneremo da loro.

Die hübsche kleine Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet, bequem und sauber, und strahlt den typischen L.A. Lebensstil aus. Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause und gleichzeitig doch wie in den Ferien. Das ruhige Wohnquartier Westchester ist nur einige Minuten entfernt vom Internationalen Flughafen LAX. Gleichzeitig ist man in der Nähe vom Hafen: Marina Del Rey, vom Strand: Venice Beach und vom Einkaufsparadies: Santa Monica. Ich bin überzeugt, dass es allen zukünftigen Gästen, enorm gefallen wird.

The Seversons welcomed me into their comfortable, safe, centrally located and welcoming home away from home environment for almost a year.   I loved how I could easy access the best areas of Los Angeles, but still lived in a safe, quiet and peaceful community.  It is close to everything a girl could need; the  beach, sunsets, restaurants, Venice Beach, Santa Monica,  Beverly Hills and LAX.  There is a grocery store, multiple restaurants, bars and recreation (tennis, golf, basketball courts) literally within walking distance.   Whenever I needed anything, the Seversons responded quickly and were always pleasant to deal with.  At the same time, I had my own entrance and lived completely separately, and they were never intrusive in any way.  I actually left to move closer to my film industry job with heartfelt reluctance because I really felt at home there.  My stay provided me with one of my best studio pied-a-terre experiences in LA.  I highly recommend anyone to take advantage of this peaceful and convenient ‘Good Vibrations’ vacation rental opportunity.  I hear they have been busy making the outdoor patio drop dead gorgeous.  Can’t wait to pop by on my way to pick up friends at LAX and catch up with some Sangria with some of my favorite Angeleno hosts.  You just can’t go wrong clicking ‘Book It’ with the Seversons.
