What a great home, nice room, superb location and lovely hosts. A wonderful introduction to Berlin and its fabulous people, Joachim and Angelika are amazing - smart and creative and fun. I hope to return to Berlin in the summer and will stay in the Yellow House.

we spent five nice days in Yellow House. the room is very nice ,large ,clean, clear and quiet; very well situated to visit the town .Joachim and Angelica are perfect host: it is easy to feel at home. and Angelica speak a quite good french; michele et J;

We certainly enjoyed very much staying at the yellow house. The room was very large, spotless and bright. Nice en-suite bathroom and kitchen, including washer and dryer. Joachim and his lovely wife, Angelika were quite helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Located in a quiet neighborhood and yet within walking distance to the major train and bus stations. We highly recommend this place and will stay again at the Yellow House in the future. Hamid.

Joachim is an extremely organized and reliable person who is easy to deal with and friendly. He also has an excellent sense of humor and has traveled all over the world, making him familiar with all sorts of people and customs. His place is always well-ordered and very clean, with the most beautiful light in Berlin -- a real stunner. The Siegmunds Hof location is quite central, with superb transit connections. Highly recommended!

This apartment is much bigger than you would expect for the very reasonable price of $65. The ceilings are high, with ample natural light flowing through the room. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen equipped all the essentials and the private bathroom is gret with a powerful shower. All in all a tremendous find. I will be returning, no doubt about it. I highly recommend this apartment to you.

If you want interesting conversation on art. culture, and almost any other subject on earth, Joachim is the right person. He has traveled a lot and likes to share his experience. He hates noise, is well-organized and respects other people's privacy. He loves to cook and eat with friends.

Joachim is a lovely man, very well-educated and a true traveler. He often has friends visiting him in Berlin from abroad. Because of his gracious hospitality, he appreciates and displays consideration for others. He and his lovely wife stayed at my home on a trip to the west coast. They were friends of friends and I barely knew them. They were marvelous guests, delightful, well-educated, and thoughtful every respect. I was sorry to see them leave. By the way, their command of English is impeccable.

I thoroughly recommend both the room and Joachim to you. The room is generously large with great art. Joachim is hugely generous and a great artist. Excellent all round. A tremendous find indeed!
