There is fenced front yard area with table and chairs that is for your use.

The location isn't as great as the review says it is and the apartment wasn't clean. The sofa is uncomfortable as are the beds. The bathroom lacks storage and places to easily put your toiletries.

I was surprised by this review as the guest told me everything was fine when I checked in with him. If the unit was not cleaned well - I would have been glad to send my housekeeper back over. I was trying out a new housekeeper and see that I will need to check her work more carefully, so that is good to know, but I do wish the guest would have let me try to resolve this during their stay.

Good location as everything from Santa Monica down town, LA transport and the beach is all within a 20 min walk. Nice quiet location.

CASA by the sea was the perfect space for our grown up family after 3 weeks in hotel rooms. It was just as expected! It was a little further from the beach than we thought but still a easy 20 mins to the pier. Good restaurants and eating places close. We loved having a washing machine and dyer to use plus the bonus of a outdoor garden area was fantastic. Overall we loved our stay and totally recommend it for a family !

While it took a little adventure to find the key, this place was just what we were looking for. It was more than enough room for 2-3 people who wanted their own space. I stayed here during a work trip. It's in a good location if you'll be around the Westside. It's about a 1-mile walk to the beach or to the main part of Santa Monica, or a short Uber.

I've lived in Santa Monica since the mid 1990's. I've always enjoyed the perfect weather, walking around the Promenade, and exploring great restaurants. I love finding new restaurants but try to balance this obsession by going to the gym :-) I like to travel quite a bit myself and tend tend to book tours, cruises or book an airbnb and stay in a city exploring for a few days. I always learn things by traveling and I think it helps make me a better host.
