Quiet place, safe area.Better for 4 people or more.Easy to access from Manhattan.

We spend 3 nights at Miyokos place. It is a clean and safe place and we enjoyed our trip to NYC very much. We (2 adults and 2 kids from switzerland) can recommend this apartment if you need it only for sleeping because the rooms are not very big but well situated to explore the city. Thank you...

Séjour de 8 jours à cinq personnes ; Aucune mauvaise surprise à l’arrivée et pendant le séjour, au contraire. Propriétaires très serviables et totalement discrets. Logement simple ,bien équipé,bien tenu, agréable, très calme, reposant, au retour de journées toujours trépidantes à New York. Transports très faciles, rapides, fréquents et à toute heure (bus réguliers ou minibus) dans les 2 sens pour Manhattan. Société de location de voitures assez proche (nous avons loué un véhicule 1 jour pour aller à Bethel (festival de Woodstock 1969) Vue très agréable sur l’Hudson River et Manhattan à 2 pas, le long d’une longue promenade et depuis de nombreux bancs . Quartier très calme ,disposant de toutes les commodités,commerces,petits restaurants etc.. Bref , pied à terre idéal pour visiter NY à un coût modéré. Miyoko ,non résidente sur place mais à l’écoute en cas de nécessité.

We had a great stay ! There is plenty of space, it is well-located with a great view. We highly recommend this house.

Nous étions 6 adultes et nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Tout était conforme à l'annonce. Les lits de très bonne qualité et le divan lit aussi confortable. Le lieu très tranquille. Super facile de prendre les transports en commun pour se rendre à Manhatan. Excellentes indications tant pour l'aller que le retour. Les enfants des propriétaires ont fait notre accueil et notre départ, mais le propriétaire nous a accompagné pour le stationnement de la voiture dans un garage privé. Très sécuritaire. Je recommanderai pour 4 adultes, mais un peu serré pour 6. Tout de même excellent rapport qualité prix pour un court séjour. Je recommanderais sans problème.

First time ever using Airbnb. Fabulous experience! Two bedrooms each with a queen size bed and pull out futons. The hosts were so Nice and accommodating. Set foot out the front door and look to your right and you have an AMAZING veiw of the NYC skyline. Be ready to tote your bags up two steep flights of stairs. Very happy with this place! We were able to park for free in front of the house.

Our stay was great! The bus ride to NYC is very convenient, with just a short walk to the bus stop. I will recommend the big NJ Transit buses over the mini ones, it's cheaper esp if you buy the 10 tickets, also once you get the tix in advance you need not worry about change and such, though we keyed in only one bus number, our tix were accepted by all other buses as they all run through zone 2. I loved the option of being able to drive with my 3 kids as they can always rest in the car and we need not worry about having to travel with luggage on trains with young kids. Overall this was a very nice stay, we highly recommend!

The apartment was great. The pictures are very accurate and show the apartment exactly as it is. The location is excellent-although is not in Manhattan you can get there in about 20-30 min. I definitely recommend this place to stay if you go to NYC!

I was very nervous about staying somewhere I hadn't been before and using the airbnb . However, our experience was wonderful. First time in New York City. People there were great and helpful! Staying in the apartment was very comforting. Very, very clean! Lots of info on restaurants that delivered and were very tasty, as well as the bus routes. I am hoping to stay again! I will definitely recommend Miyoko's places! The views down the street of the sky line were breath taking!!

TNX to Myioko for a wonderful stay in NYC. We had a great time,and the view of the manhattan by night is spettacular,much better than in the photo on the site. The bus stop is just around the corner and the neighbourhood is full of shops,markets,restaurants,fast food,......highly racommended 10/10.

This is the best place to stay when you go to NY if you do not want to spend your money on a big hotels or spend your time on a long suffering metro adventures. The location is great: just 15-20 minutes away (depending on traffic) from the heart of Times-Square, and you have a bus every few moments right next to the place. And the view? nothing compare to this one! we took tons of pictures, in the mornings, evenings, when it's sunny or rainy - always different and always beautiful. Worth every penny. About the place: 3 very nice and clean bedrooms, each with flat TV. A dining room and a family room with additional big flat TV. A fully equipped kitchen, a garage to park your car safely and the highlight - a deck looking over a nice back yard, the ideal place for breakfast of rest after a long NY walking. This is heaven, I tell you! We were two couples there, enjoyed every moment and paid just a fraction of what we could have paid in a three stars hotel.... A word about the owner, Raoul and family: On the first day there we left our car in the garage. We found out in the evening that the lights were on and the battery was gone! The car was facing the inside, so no cable could help here ;-( The owner, Raoul, his wife and family came to help: they brought their car closer, and let us dismount their battery in order to bring it closer to our car's engine. Would you do this to people you don't know? And after all, they took our heavy luggage and brought it upstairs. We love them! Thanks to Miyoko and Raoul and family. This was a great place to be and we'll definitely come again when we go to NY. You should do it too. The Doron and Kainan families.

I never use the airbnb service before so I was a little hesitant, but I am glad I went for it. The information I got on the webpage was accurate. The apartment was spacious, clean and in good location. Having an equipped kitchen plus having a mini market near the place allow me to prepare food for my family, this was a big advantage. I would definitely consider staying at this place again in the future.

Appartement très propre et bien plus grand que peuvent laisser croire les photos (nous étions 6 adultes). Les explications recues pour aller de l'aeroport et l'appart etaient tres precises et tres utiles. C'est vraiment bien placé par rapport à Manhattan, à seulement 15 min en bus lorsqu'il n'y a pas d'embouteillage. Quatier tranquille même le soir (nous rentrions le soir entre 11h et 1h). Je vous recommande sans aucun souci cet appartement.

Our overall experience in the apartment was great! The description by the host is 100% accurate. The place is very spacious, clean, quiet, and convenient for transportation to NYC. The neighborhood is very SAFE, which was one of our initial concerns when looking for a place to stay. During the week that we stayed in the apartment, we felt like we were in our own home, very cozy. The host was very easy to communicate with and was very clear with everything. There is a grocery story right around the corner! The VIEW of the city is beautiful, especially at night! Definitely buy the weekly (or 10) NJ Transit bus passes if you're planning on crossing to NYC on a daily basis. It will save you a few bucks. The bus stop is a few steps away from the apt, buses come VERY OFTEN (every 2-5 min), and the ride to the city is from 20-40 min long depending on the hr. We will DEF be staying here again!

Overall, we had a great stay in this basement apartment. Our host family was very nice and super accommodating. Everything was very clean and the apartment was super cute. It was very easy to catch the shuttle bus to NYC. It cost $3 per person each way, runs 24/7 and drops you and picks you up near the Port Authority Bus Terminal. The next time we stay in NYC, we hope to stay in one of Miyoko's properties.

Miyoko's place was good for the five of us. It's very close to NYC by bus, and Miyoko is very friendly.

This was the first time that we used airbnb.com and im gonna do i again!!! We was 6 people in this apartment and Its was really great, Miyoko had fixt everything before our visit in NY, and Raul was a great man ho take care of us first day. Clean and nice apartment, helpfully people everywhere in New Jersey and NY. I can really recommend this to everyone.

Pluses: Ideal location. Two steps to the bus stop. Two more steps to a fantastic view of the city. Easily reached from Port Authority. Spotlessly clean. Two baths! Fully equipped kitchen with lots of dishes, dishwasher, etc. Steps from a terrific bakery with coffee and way too many tasty treats! Certainly can't beat the price. Not perfect: We ran out of toilet paper. Would have been nice to have some coffee available to perk. No control of heat, so we slept with windows open.

We had a wonderful weekend in NYC thanks to this nice and convenient apartment in West NYC. Miyoko as well as Raul, the owner, made everything very easy and comfortable for us. The apartment was exactly like promised. We appreciated the parking spot - and the suggestions where to have lunch in the neighbourhood. Also it is amazing how quiet it was during the night! Going into NYC and back by bus was really easy and quick, too.

It was a lovely place, very clean and well equipped. Bus to Manhattan is 1 minute from the place, so it is very convenient. Thanks Miyoko for the lovely accomodation!
