Thomas was waiting for me to show me the apartment and it was really nice as it was raining when I arrived. Listing was as described, location was perfect, and the apartment was spacious. I could sleep until 10am without any noise coming from outside as the apartment is quite a distance away from the main road. The laundry and the dryer were extremely helpful if you had to do laundry on site, and with cable TV and internet, it felt more like home. All the places downtown is within walking distance and there is no need to take a cab. Even if you need to, since it is so center, cab is everywhere. I would definitely come back to this apartment if I'm ever in Ho Chi Minh city again.

My wife and I used this flat as a place to sleep while visiting Saigon for the long weekend. It was in a perfect location in District 1. It's easy to walk anywhere or get a cheap taxi. Plus it's off the main streets allowing for some peace and quiet away from all the horns and motorbikes. Thomas and his assistant Anna were both extremely responsive via email. Although Anna wasn't around for check in or check out, we managed to get in and out without too much interruption of our plans. The apartment itself was spacious and the bed was alright. However, there was a layer of dust on everything. Since we literally just slept there, it wasn't a big deal. It is a bit overpriced for an average apartment. This is an average apartment in a fantastic location. If you aren't looking to sit around inside all day (who does that on holiday anyway), then this place will work for you. I give 3 stars because that's average. 4 is great. 5 is fantastic. 2 needs work. 1 means I left and found other accommodation.

Response from Thomas:
Thanks for your feedback. Our housekeeper was sick while Charles booked last minute, so she didn't come on time to prepare the apartment as she normally does, i apologize for not keeping the place so cleaned, if you let me know i would've have maid to come and clean quickly...Regarding to "overpriced" apartment, you might want to compare Rex hotel across from the street starting price for "rooms" is $210++ and Liberty Central just on the same side (20 meters down the road) starting for $150++. Thanks for staying with me. T.

The apartment was just as listed and looked just like the pictures, very functional and usable. Thomas could "use" his balcony as an asset, we think, if he wanted. But the location is the best part! Not only is it very centrally located for a new tourist to Saigon, but being down a neighborhood alley off the main street you felt like you had joined a local community. We ended up eating at the small alley kitchens for Pho at breakfast before heading out for a day of exploring. Most everyone in the alley was welcoming and helpful.

Response from Thomas:
I agree with you on the balcony, I'll decorate the balcony more when we renovate the whole house, thanks for your comment. The alley is one of the greatest charms on exploring the neighborhood

Fantastic location in an authentically rustic Saigon pied-à-terre. I could walk to all my meetings, had an endless choice of culinary options and the convenience of the washer-dryer was great. Thomas himself was not on site but his associate Anna was always just minutes away and helped me quickly resolve any issues I had. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic, old town experience in the heart of Saigon.

Location was great! Minutes to eateries, shopping places and sights. Photos match with what I saw in the room. The room is on the second floor so if you are arriving with luggages, be mentally prepared to climb up the stairs with your luggages. The stairs is a little dark but there are switches to turn on the lights.

I'm traveling often around of the world for leisure and work, and getting tired of staying in hotels... all the time looking to connect and try alternative accommodations...
