About this listing

The space

Most central area in Rome! Between piazza Navona, piazza di Spagna and Pantheon. 10 min walking from Vatican. Charming apartment very quiet and sunny, fully equipped, at the second floor of an ancient "palazzo". The owner lives in the same building wich is very helpful in case of problems, questions, suggestions.
Very comfortable sleeping room on a mezzanine (with window), with king size bed and wardrobe. Living room with sofa bed, table and chairs, tv and dvd. Air conditioning.
Large kitchen fully equipped.
Free and illimitated WiFi.
Kids items available on demand (high chair, baby bed, toys, stroller...)

Plenty of restaurants and shops in the area (you fill find a list of the best ones). All turistic major sites are at a walking distance from the apartment.

There are a lot of bus, a taxi station, and the metro Spagna at 5 minutes walking.

You will have the unic experience to live in an old roman style building, but with modern comfort. You will go everywhere by feet.

I can provide a private company car to pick you at the airport.

Interaction with guests

Except during holidays I live in the same building, at the same floor. So I am always available to resolve problems or give you informations. I will be very happy to meet you.

Other things to note

How to get to my apartment:
1. Train+metro or bus: Take the Train till Termini, then the metro A till Spagna, then walk 10-15 minutes. The train costs about 15 € for each person, the metro 1.50 €.
2 Taxi: the taxi from Fiumicino costs 48€.
3 Private company: I can propose you a private car for 45€ (from Fiumicino), they pick you up inside the airport. Very trustable and comfortable as written by my previous guests.

Great place in the heart of Rome. Very close to countless things to see and do!

Great apartment near the center but just off the main streets so it is quiet. Martina arranged transportation to and from airport which was very helpful and convenient. Be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs (as well as up a spiral stair if you want to use the closet in the sleeping loft)... but this should be expected in most old Rome apartments. Very small shower but this is also very common so I have no complaints. Would definitely look to see if it's available the next time I visit. Great stay!

The apartment is in a fantastic location. It's an easy walk to many major sites in Rome (Parthenon, Piazza Novana, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps) and we also walked to the Vatican and to the Colosseum from the apartment. It's surrounded by endless bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. Despite it's central location, it still feels secluded, cozy, and residential. Communication with Martina was fantastic. She was very easy to get in touch with and super helpful. The apartment was clean, well-furnished and had everything we needed. I highly recommend this apartment!

This is a great place for two ... it is a central flat, quiet and fully equipped. We had a great stay there and it is definitely recommended to anyone looking for a place to stay in Rome without having to use metro , buses etc as all main sites are within walking distance ...a super market open 07:00-23:00 hrs is just a few meters away from the building which also helped a lot during our stay ...

This cosy apartment is located in a quiet area, close to many local attractions. Martina, was an excellent host and was quick in her responses to our questions. We enjoyed the recommended restaurants, and took the private car (organised by Martina) to and from the airport. Good mobility is required here as there are stairs to reach the apartment and also spiral stairs to the mezzanine bedroom. Rome is full of cobbled streets so good mobility is required anyhow. Carefore around the corner have great bread, meats and cheese and will make you up a very reasonably roll to take with you on your visits to the ancient sites. We fused froze water in a bottle to keep the rolls chilled until lunch time. Water is available from small fountains found everywhere in Rome. Its beautiful water, safe to drink, cool and fresh, almost sweet in taste. Remember to take a container with you to fill up as you go along. Have a lovely holiday! We certainly did.

Martina's place was great for a weekend stay, but I would have loved to stay longer! The apartment was as pictured and clean. The car service was excellent, a nice car with a great driver who walked me right to the apartment door and called to say I had arrived. He also made a point to show me some landmarks as we passed them. The apartment was in a great location, with plenty nearby. Martina was also flexible with checkout because she didn't have a guest arriving that day. Would definitely recommend!!

I think you will love this apartment. It is quiet, bright, very central, in a beautiful ancient building.
I leave in the same building with my daughters. i work in publishing, I like reading, playing music, movies and theater.
I can suggest you interesting things to do in Rome and help you to book exhibitions, theater, etc.
I leave in the apartment a list with the best restaurants and shops in teh corner.
Hoping to see you soon in Rome!
