ViaDiMezzo Guest House

We had a great time at the ViaDiMezzo Guest House. It's situated very near to the city centre. The room is very nice and tall. The bed is excellent and everything is very clean. The hosts are very nice and could give us great value information about visiting Florence and getting good Italian food for a decent price.

We had a great couple of days here. Despite staying in the Guest House, we enjoyed complete privacy helped by having our own bathroom. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Both the room and bathroom were clean.

Quiet location away from tourist hotspots. This accommodation is within walking distance to main shopping district in town. Benedetta is also very helpful in giving information and places around Florence. Cosy environment and nice bed too! Highly recommend this place and it is also value for money!

I really appreciated that Benedetta and Gabriele welcomed us warmly even though we had to move our check-in time 5 hours later due to a train cancellation. They are cheerful and helpful hosts; they provided Florence maps and information, and without them we wouldn't have known about Notte Bianca (White Nights), an annual event where the whole of Florence stays up all night celebrating music, food, culture and art. (Great time to be in town!) The apartment is clean, cozy and comfortable. More importantly, it's is in a fantastic location. It is a ten-minute walk from just about everything you'd want to see in the Centro Storico. It's also in an area with great food and drink options; we had our favorite meals just a few doors down at Via di Mezzo no. 24! Thank you Benedetta and Gabriele for your great apartment and warm hospitality. Marlon and I hope to return to bella Firenze soon! :)

Quaint little apartment near to Duomo.

I live in Florence myself and arranged for two of my relatives who were visiting for a few days to stay with Benedetta at Via di Mezzo as I do not have much space in my own apartment. Gabriele welcomed us to the apartment and took great efforts to make sure my relatives were comfortable. The apartment itself is in a good part of town, very central but away from the usual tourist streams. Plenty of great options for food and drinks nearby. The room we had was very spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. Bathroom was spotless. Kitchen is shared, clean a Overall a great stay for my relatives. Happy to have people stay there again.

After lots of travel through Italy, we were really looking forward to our 3 day stay in Florence to relax and were hoping that this highly recommended apartment was all it was talked up to be....IT WAS! So centrally located to everything you want to see in Florence, and right around the corner from great restaurants and shopping, this adorable and very furnished apartment has an amazing bed, lots of windows, and a great bathroom with a very comfortable size shower. We felt very comfortable here, and we're sad to go! Our young, hip, professional hosts were so sweet, and they offer tips and brochures on how best to see the sites and city. I can't wait to go back! We had a wonderful stay at Benedetta's place! The room was phantastic and very beautifully equipped. The flat is very central. Benedetta was very helpful with recommendations where to go for eating, touristic programme and gave us a map. We'd stay there in a heartbeat! Thanks so much!!

Super accueil et chambre conforme aux descriptions. Je recommande vivement l'endroit pour sa location et pour le confort / propreté. L'hôte était vraiment arrangeant. Nous avons pu garder les clés et laisser les bagages même après l'heure de rendre les lieux. Très pratique.

Benedetta was helpful from our first interaction to the moment I left Florence. She was super friendly and welcoming, I couldn't imagine a more comfortable stay. If I ever fo back to Florence, I would stay there again and for a longer period of time. She also pointed me in the direction of things she thought I would be interested in, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Benedetta's apartment. Benedetta and Gabriel are very nice hosts. I stayed 3 days in a huge and cosy room with my own bathroom. The apartment has a kitchen where you prepare your own food. The location is very central but in a quieter and less crowded area not far from the Duomo. In case that you are not used to florentine street noise I suggest to bring ear plugs. I definitly enjoyed my my time and would stay there again. Thank you!
