Coming into Austin for a festival? A conference? Just to have a good time? We're a 10-15 minute drive from campus and about 15-20 minutes from downtown!

We are on the third floor. We have a queen-sized air mattress in the room, with some space to spread out, and two couches and floor space in the living room for larger groups (feel free to bring an extra air mattress-- we have an air compressor). Our guest bathroom is just that-- your own space! The room includes a closet with full-length mirrors on the doors, a desk, and a small drawer unit.

The apartment complex includes a pool and hot tub, and guests are free to use our washer and dryer. We have wireless internet and cable TV in the apartment. Coffee and hot tea provided. Our guests are welcome to use our kitchen.

If you aren't bringing a car, our apartment is on the #37 and #323 bus lines and 1/2 mile from the #20 (check the Capital Metro site for more information). Austin also has carsharing options: Car2Go and Zipcar both operate here. We strongly encourage our car-free guests to consider car2go over a conventional car rental (check the Car2Go Austin site). Austin has multiple bike rental places (and we have a bike map in the apartment that you are welcome to use).

Additionally, we recycle, compost, and conserve water. We ask that our guests also be willing to conserve resources when staying with us.

If you are bringing a car, parking is free at our apartment complex. Parking in downtown Austin is metered until 6 PM Monday-Wednesday, until midnight Thursday-Saturday, and is free on Sundays.

Please note: I strictly adhere to Airbnb policies regarding communication before a reservation is made. Therefore, I will only call you if I see a "Call this guest" on our chat. If you do want me to call you before you make a reservation, please opt into receiving phone calls and send me a message with the best time to call you. I'm a student and in class several hours a day, so I many not be able to get back to you right away.

Please do not try to defeat the site blockers to send me your phone number or email address, because I will not contact you outside of official Airbnb channels. The same applies to offers of payment: I only go through Airbnb. If you repeatedly disregard Airbnb policies, I will report you to Airbnb and I will NOT accept your reservation.

We take reservations on a first come, first served basis. Unless you send a message with a specific reason why you cannot book right away, I will not hold dates open for you. The first reservation I get for a particular date is the one that I will accept.

We spent 10 days at Susan and Chad's place. Their house is located in a safe gated community with ample parking spots. They keep the house clean and organized. The room given to us was large, and the kitchen and a part of refridgerator were available to cook our meals during our stay. Susan and Chad are responsible hosts to communicate with you in a timely manner and provide space and facilities as they describe. Also, they are friendly people who enjoy talking with you. We were happy to stay in their house and spend time with them. Thank you for hosting us.

We had a great stay with Susan and her husband. Place was very clean , bed is comfortable and you have your own bathroom too. Close to bus stop, bus will take you right to the city. Susan gave us good advises on places to see and food to eat . Would stay there all over again for sure and definitely will recommend Susan`s place to others.
