Interaction with guests
Our reception staff will be there to welcome you and assist you, and you will be able to socialise with travellers and Uruguayans staying at the house. Everybody contributes to a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The apartment is located only 3 blocks from Plaza Matriz, the heart of Montevideo, with its Cathedral and Cabildo (its colonial Government House). Most sights are on your doorstep!
This part of Montevideo, known as Ciudad Vieja (the Old Town) is home to nearly all its historic buildings, museums and sights. So most daytime and nighttime activities will be just a short stroll away!
Security in Ciudad Vieja is very good, since 400 CCTV cameras were installed and started operating in December 2013.
Several bus lines stop 2 blocks away, that can take you to any other part of Montevideo.
Secure parking is available nearby for about 14$/24h.
From Carrasco airport, you may take a taxi (~70$), shared shuttle (~20$) or bus (~2$) that will leave you at Plaza Independencia.
