Whimsical Studio Apartment in UES

It's a really great place! Even though it's not so big, it's enough for two girls. Even though there is a construction in front of the house, we didn't hear noise. What's more, it made us feel we are at home! A clean, comfortable, convenient place! We didn't meet Erica, but she reponded our questions by email very fast! It's a really good choice to stay in NY. Btw, I love your pictures. =)

Erica is a fantastic host! Though I didn't meet her in person, she was very supportive by mails and quickly answered all my questions (I have a lot of them because it was my first trip to NY and first deal with airbnb). Erica helped with little troubles - like finding an electric apadtor which we forgot to buy. Apartment is amazing, very clean, very cute, very comfortable. You can find there anything you want. Location is good, few blocks from subway, close to Central park and Museum mile. There's indeed construction near the building, but as far as we were informed about that, it wasn't surprise and it wasn't very noisy at all. We spent an unforgettable Chrisrmas holidays in this place. I recommend it with pleasure and hope we could stay there again!

Erica was a delight to deal with. Very timely in her responses to all mails, texts... The apartment was very clean. It's tiny for anyplace else, but for UES in Manhattan it was great, and everything worked perfectly, better than I've had in larger spaces. Fridge, oven, etc all new and very clean, very good taste in decor and dish-ware. She has fun and elegant taste and it was all very useable and pleasant to be in. There was a minor issue of the bath clogging once or twice, but again she was very quick to response to a text about it, and one evening that the hot water didn't seem to be on hot enough and we texted her and she got it sorted in a few minutes. She's a really responsive hostess, with a good selection of teas :) We used a bunch of her tea and left her some of the teas we'd bought while we were there, and some honey. There is construction around the building which is a bit of a nuisance in terms of cabs and luggage, but actually doesn't seem to be noisy inside the building at all. She's a fellow writer and it was fun to talk about that a bit too.

Walking into the apartment and my first thought was how cute it looked. Erica's home was comfortable, cozy and clean. Though small, it was very well organized and quite charming. After a long day of sight-seeing, the bed felt heavenly. My daugher and I loved it. We would stay again.

AMAZING STAY !!! Erica is such a great person !!! Very easy to contact her, she will do everything for you to have THE perfect stay ! Early check-in, late check-out, two sets of keys, what else to ask for ? Oh yeah, a lovely apartment of course !!! So clean, everything you need is there, a very good bed, and located only 2 blocks away from the subway station, restaurants and stores down the building, PERFECT :) Will go back there next time for sure, thanks for everything Erica :)

I have been to New York for pleasure many times, always staying at a hotel. This is by far in a way the best way to go. We arrived and met Erica to get the key, she was on her way out to a masquerade party, how cool, we don't have those in Virginia. She was very accommodating in arranging a time to get the key. Her apartment is full of character, charming and very inviting. We spent most of the time seeing the sites of the city and slept like a log in her very comfortable bed. Erica was a great hostess and we will definitely be staying here again, if she'll have us. Thanks Erica!

Erica was a fantastic host! Not only did she make sure we easily got to the apartment but she also very patiently waited for us when our terrible Megabus several hours late. She is so friendly! The apartment was a perfect alternative to a hotel and very easy to get to. The bed was stupidly comfortable and the fridge was empty for us to use the whole week. I wouldn't hesitate to book Erica's place again!

L'appartamento è piccolo, meglio per una persona ma noi ci siamo stati in 2 per 10 gg e ci siamo trovati benissimo. C'è tutto quello di cui avevamo bisogno. Abbiamo anche utilizzato la cucina (molto ben fornita di stoviglie) e abbiamo cucinato pasta, carne e colazioni senza alcun problema. Inotlre a 100 metri c'è un fornitissimo supermercato e ad un isolato di distanza la stazione metro, per cui la zona è veramente ottima. E' stato proprio un bel soggiorno.

Class Act host! Erica always seemed to accomadate us with any question or need. Conveniently located on the east side of Manhattan blocks away from the FDR (where you can go for a nice jog in the morn or nice romantic walk at night). There are bars and lounges only blocks away for your weekend recreation and very close to the 6 train for your sightseeing needs. Would definately come back again! Thanks!

Great stay in a good location. Close to everything you need, and super clean studio. Great communication with Erica and a very enjoyable trip.

Erica is one of the sweetest, most considerate people I know. She also happens to be very organized and responsible, though I enjoy spending time with her even more because of her warm and bubbly personality. My two thumbs up are only restricted by the number of thumbs I happen to have.
