My husband and I had a lovely stay at Eric's place. His one-bedroom apartment offered a calming atmosphere with its view of the canals, soft appealing furnishings, and collection of interesting art/photography and books. It was our home away from home while our nearby house in Venice was being tented for termites, and we couldn't have found a better place. Eric has a thoughtful sensibility as a host, and it showed in every way.

Our three-night stay at Eric's was wonderful; from the moment we set foot in the house, you couldn't wipe the grins off our faces. The house was clean, quiet, perfectly situated: two blocks from the beach and literally a stone's throw from the canal. Eric set us up at the house, poured us a glass of wine, and pointed out nearby points of interest. Then, we were alone to explore and enjoy. A hundred times more chill than a hotel, I would come back in a heartbeat. (And, the Eames chair is an experience in itself)!

Had a great time and would definitely think of returning. The bungalow was clean and comfortable, and a small backyard literally overlooks the canal. (A nice place to have morning coffee). The beach and the boardwalk are about a two-minute walk (and Bellisisma is a great place to pick up juice, tea, fruit and snacks). The neighborhood is very quiet -- all in all, a very pleasant place to relax and unwind.

Eric's place is fantastic-- just like it looks in the pictures. The back porch sits five feet from the canal. It's a short walk to the beach or the many local bars and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and the immediate vicinity quiet. Eric was a welcoming host. He gave a bunch of local recommendations and even checked in with us via text message to make sure everything was going well and to ask whether we needed any more recommendations. I would highly recommend you stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at Eric's well appointed canal house. Perfect location - close enough to walk or bike to everything, and the home is quiet and serene in one of the prettiest parts of Venice. Eric is extremely helpful in helping procure anything you need. We look forward to staying there again!

Eric ad Summers apartment is right on the canal and is absolutely beautiful. Every time we come to Venice we always stay there. Eric and Summer are extremely accommodating and we easy to get a hold of. Great location and near Abbott Kinney. Thanks Eric and Summer we enjoy staying with you guys!!

This apartment right on the Venice canals was a serene and well-appointed home with proximity to the best of Venice - the beach, Abbott Kinney, restaurants, shops, museums, the Farmer's Market. Summer and Eric were extremely accommodating and provided several helpful tips to make my stay very enjoyable. I highly recommend a stay here!
