Venice Canals 1-Bdrm

My family and I spent two weeks at Eric's place in Venice in July. The place was exactly as described, Eric was very welcoming, helpful and responsive. We can only recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Venice Beach.

Super cute place, quiet and canals are so pretty!

Eric's place is in my opinion one of the best you can live at in Venice. The Venice Canals are a quiet retreat for the always stressed out mind. You go in there and immediately feel at home and all the stress of past days falls off your chest. The place is tidy, has a tremendous view and has all you need for up to two persons. You can use the complimentary bike and take a ride on the beach. Eric was on time when I arrived gave me quick tour of the place and was also very supportive during my stay. Abbot Kinney is a 5-10 minutes walk with all the fancy restaurants and there is a Whole Foods store within 5 minutes driving range.

Spent a week here. Very relaxing and peaceful location with the view true to the pictures. The area feels safe and is very quiet at night. Apt has alot of clean towels as well. Eric greeted us at the apartment with a very quick run through and gave us clear directions to the nearby farmer's market and also which gallery to visit. The apartment kitchen is extremely well stocked with all sorts of utensils, dishwasher and cooking ingredients for free use. The only downside - The cleaner did not come on schedule as arranged. That caused a mini bathroom panic as we suddenly realised the apt was out of toilet rolls. We had to go get our own in the end although re-stock did came 2 days later. I'm sure Eric will take note of this and prevent further such incidents from happening again since he come across as a very efficient man! Overall, we had a very relaxing stay here. Totally love the view & the kitchen. Not recommended for party animals but def. great for honey-mooners, senior folks or those wanting a tranquil vacation.

Place and location were excellent. Use of two bikes was a nice amenity. Eric was helpful and timely. Nice, quiet and relaxing weekend.

A great base for the LA beaches — just a short stroll to Venice Beach itself, yet a world away from all the craziness of the boardwalk by the oasis of the canals. The place isn't huge, but is well appointed and having the lovely terrace (which gets the morning sun) overlooking the canal was, as others have said, very relaxing. If you're lucky, you might even get a visit from next door's extremely friendly cat. The real fire and Apple TV with Netflix subscription are also perfect if you fancy a cosy night in.

Eric's place is charming, clean, close to beach, and very comfortable. Great set-up if you like to cook and even a fireplace. My husband and I highly recommend it.

We once again had a great time in Eric's wonderful home on the canals. He is a very gracious and accommodating host and his home has everything we needed. A fantastic vacation and having the fireplace was a bonus for chilly nights.

Making contact and staying in touch with Eric when I needed to was unbelievably easy. He was accommodating in every sense of the word. Met me at the home right on time and showed me (perfectly at my pace might I add) where everything was. Very to the point and I could imagine would I have been a traveler he would have offered up so much information I would have been set for my whole trip. But, since I am a native to the area, I asked for the short take on what was what. THE MOST ACCOMMODATING LOCATION AS OF YET !!! Utensils- he has them all, not to mention they all are properly set away and not in a mess of a drawer. Very organized. Furniture- from the outdoor easy lounging he has where you can easily waste a day away just viewing the canals and relaxing getting some sunshine to the ever so comfortable bed, work desk area is ideal and then he tops it off with of course my favorite Eames chair (which is to die for) . If you don't know who Charles Eames is, you might as well look him up, then actually realize that Eric's place has the real deal and that if you opt to stay at his most magnificent abode, you get the very special opportunity to relax in the most heavenly chair available. Parking was easy and very accommodating for my needs, and since it is all one level, it made it all that much easier to exit and enter. It felt like my own humble little home away from home. All in all, I cannot wait to find another excuse to go back and stay at Eric's. It was an A+ over the top 10 experience with the most calming and relaxing ambiance I have missed having while living on the Westside in Los Angeles. Thanks again Eric!
