Ocean Views Gracious Island Home

  We were a group of 6 who rented the entire house. It worked out beautifully for us. The layout is perfect for hanging out but also affords privacy. Each of the three sleeping areas (two up and one down) have their own baths. The kitchen is well stocked and flows into the living area and lanai. The main house (upstairs) has a view of the ocean, which is about two blocks away. The location is great -- walk to the beach or drive to shopping. It's easy to jump on the highways to the airport, or going north or south. The owner answered many questions before our arrival and was helpful during our stay. The price is very fair for this lovely home.

  What a wonderful home! Very comfortable beds and a relaxing living/dinning room. Ann was very helpful and make our visit enjoyable. We came to have a good place to live in as we explored the redwoods. Her place was close to the national parks we wanted to see. We highly recommend the place and hope to come back. Cheryl

  The space is excellent; it's private, comfortable, and perfectly located. Being able to cook at home was great. The kitchen was well outfitted and we had tools to cook just about anything. There's a store a quick bike ride down the road, and a small farmer's market even closer. We loved having access to bikes. They really made short trips to the stores and nearby beaches easy, even without a car, and Kihei is very pleasant to bike around. The snorkeling and beach gear was also great. Ann and her daughter were staying it the house above us while we were there. They were both amazing. They pointed us to a small, slightly hidden beach, which ended up being my favorite, as well as hikes, stores, and other events on the island. I really appreciated how unobtrusive they were as well; while they made us feel very welcome, we never lacked for privacy. When I come back to Maui, I definitely plan on staying here again.

  We were very happy with Ann's studio. The location is great (quiet and private, yet only a short drive from everything), and it's full of useful amenities. Our Maui experience wouldn't have been the same without the washer/dryer and boogie boards that came with the place! Ann was a wonderful host. While we never got to meet her in person, she always responded promptly to our emails and questions, and gave us a lot of helpful tips and recommendations (where to do grocery shopping, for example) which made our trip in Maui go much smoother. We hope to be back soon.

  We were so happy that we chose to rent this lovely studio. The location is convenient for getting to most of the places we wanted to visit on the island, and it's a very quick walk to the beach. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the studio itself was just as pretty as it is in the photos, very clean, tastefully decorated and perfect for our needs. It has a surprisingly private feel thanks to the many plants on the side and back and the garden in the back. The large amount of beach supplies and coolers were helpful. Ann herself was always pleasant to work with and responded quickly to my emails, but she had given us so much information (both by email and on a sheet at the studio) that we didn't need to contact her while we were there.

  Ann has been a most wonderful host! She always responsed promptly (within 24h) to any requests or questions we had. She also provided us with numerous ideas what to do and was most helpful in helping us find the most suitable activities with a toddler. It's a real shame we did not get to meet in person as she was on vacation during our stay. The directions provided to her home were flawless, and easy to follow. The studio itself is lovely, spacious, clean, and very well equipped. Beach towels are provided for free, as well as many beach gear which was fab! And we could use the washer and dryer for free which is always a great plus when traveling with a baby. The neighborhood is safe, and there is a lovely beach right by the studio which was perfect for sunsets, walks and relaxing time with our little one. Kihei is a nice little town, with some nice cafes and restaurants. It also has a lovely playground for small children.

  My husband and I stayed at Ann's studio during our honeymoon, and it truly exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, large, clean, and very well equipped with kitchen and beach equipment. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to rent it. We met the family who were renting the large apartment upstairs, and they gave us a tour of their place before they checked out -- wow, the porch up there is amazing. A++!

  Quiet neighborhood, nice private and tropical backyard to relax in. Central to all in Western Maui and just a few blocks from Kihei beach. Had most of the stuff you'll need for beach days.

  Ann was a gracious host and made sure our stay was a pleasant one. The house is very comfortable and comes equipped with a dishwasher, washer and dryer, and a garage packed with equipment for the beach. While the house is a drive to some of our favorite beaches that is expected when staying anywhere in Maui. I would definitely stay here on my next trip back to Maui

  Spent our honeymoon in the upstairs house and it more than satisfied our needs. Can easily sleep 4 people with room to spare. Ann was very helpful and was always quick to reply to my emails. She provided a lot of local hints and advice. Highly recommended to other travelers. It's in Kihei, close to a lot of beaches and restaurants.

  Fantastic!! A splendidly wonderful location and home for a few days. Everything was fresh, clean, crisp, and beautiful. Lots of delicious eateries and boutiques within walking distance. Highly recommended.

  We stayed in this home last weekend. It was a great place. Very quite and secluded just like the pictures show. The location is great with easy access to the downtown area, the community forrest and the freeway. I'd recommend a stay here.
