lovely apartment in a good location,close to the subway

Stephanie's Wohnung ist verkehrsgünstig gelegen und gemütlich. Der Central Park befindet sich grad um die Ecke. Wir hatten als Familie zu fünft genügend Raum. Stephanie ist eine sympathische zuverlässige Vermieterin. Wir können die Wohnung empfehlen!

Everything went more than smoothly. Stephanie was wonderful and made us feel welcome. I would recommend the Apt. Central Park North to my closest friends!

A friend and I stayed in the Central Park North apartment, which is a HUGE one bedroom with two beds in the living room and a queen bed in the bedroom. It is so clean and in an amazing community in Harlem, only two blocks from the park and a two minute walk from the subway. When we arrived, Stephanie shared with us all of the great areas to see and nice restaurants/stores in the area. She provides subway and bus maps and gave us directions to a friends' house in Midtown. When it came time for us to leave, she helped us find the bus to the airport. Stephanie is so sweet and I will definitely be staying in one of her places the next time I am in New York. BUT, this trip made me fall in love with the city, so many the next time I'm back, I'll be looking for my own apartment to live in for good!

The apartment was perfect for us--clean, pleasant, decent-sized (for NYC!), close to the subway and Central Park, with TV, wifi, cooking utensils, everything you could need. As described and photographed. Stephanie was a very gracious, welcoming and helpful host, and always available if you needed anything (as we did when we locked ourselves out--beware that the door to the apartment closes very quickly behind you if you step out into the hallway for a moment!). Overall, a great experience.

Our experience at the apartment on 112th street was very mixed, the apartment itself is clean and functional. The location is super convenient to the subway to get anywhere in Manhattan. We loved walking through the North of Central Park, the lake, the conservatory and the flowers are all stunning. The noise of the neighbors and the loud music blasting at completely random times was disturbing to our sleep. I would recommend earplugs and i-pods if you are at all sensitive to sound. -Rating 3 stars

really enjoyed one of stephanie's apt. her husband helped us out and he was really informative. even though we arrived real late on a thursday, they were able to accommodate us. thanks!

We loved our stay in NYC and that's partly due to Stephanie's and Sophie's help and kindness! The apartment was as promised, perfect for our needs. We really enjoyed our stay in Stephanie's place. Everything was perfect!! The appartment is clean, sweet, and equiped of everything we needed. Sophie was very nice!! She cared about us and really wanted to be sure that we were fine. I definitely recommend Stephanie's places!!!

She told me that she would put me in for a reservation but that there was someone already booked in that room that she would try and move to another place. She charged me but said she would let me know within 24 hours for sure whether or not I would get the room and then give me a full refund immediately afterwards. A week later I get a notification that the reservation was cancelled. I wasn't told anything and I still don't have my money back. Disappointing.

My husband and i stayed with Stepanie and her family at the Chez Chic Private Room for 4 nights. The accomodations were wonderful. Stephanie was a fabulous hostess. We had so much privacy that it felt like we were in our own apartment most of the time. Stephanie was great with giving us directions and recommendations of places to eat and visit. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The room is very quiet and clean and comfortable. Everything is exactly as Stephanie advertises. My husband and I left the city with a new found appreciation for Harlem thanks to Stephanie and her family. We absolutely cannot wait to stay with Stephanie again. We would recommend her to anyone coming to NYC!!!!!! We already have multiple times. Thank you Stephanie, for everything!!!! :)

if you are looking for a cool place to come "home" to while in NYC, this is a great choice! we loved the quiet street and calm neighborhood, away from the lights and business of downtown... stephanie was a wonderful hostess and really gave us a lot of great info on how to navigate the local buses and she had great subway tips! she was also extremely accommodating on our check in time. the apartment itself is adorable and very spacious with lots of light and a super cute backyard/patio. i would definitely have given it 5 stars if the bathroom had been cleaner. this was my first experience with airbnb and it was very successful, i would recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to NYC.

Stephanie was a wonderful host. She was very knowledgeable about the city and offered great input while my wife and I were considering where to move in New York. The apartment was in a great location and the room was clean. It was very easy to find parking as well. We would recommend her accommodations to anyone.

It was the 1st time my boyfriend and I were going to NYC!Our stay at stephanie's was just amazing!!!!We arrived late in the evening but stephanie was there to welcome us and give us lots of useful tips about New York!Her family is so friendly and her little son is so funny! The neighborhood is really pleasant!Her neighbors called her as we didn't have any service on our phone ! The apartment is very close to Central Park North and Harlem Meer (just a few steps to get there!)and also close to subway and bus station! She always asked us if we needed anything! You can go there with complete confidence you won't be disappointed! Trust me! Some advice if you arrive at JFK and you don't want to spend too much money in transportation:Take the airtrain to Jamaica Station and then take the A line(subway)to Manhattan.Change at 42th Street Times Square to C line uptown and stop at 110th Street Cathedral Pkwy. Then you'll just have to walk 5 or 10 minutes and you'll be there!

I met Stephanie in airplane for my first travel to NY. I was his first client. Stephanie is a fine designer, the room was very clean and comfortable. Stephanie has given by the decoration and individual soul to its brownstone. The customer feels important. She is friendly, available, efficient. Stephanie takes great pride in her apartment. You can tell by the fabulous decor and the cleanliness of the place. Besides being very warm and friendly, she makes you feel very welcome. A great home away from home!!!

She gave me all guarantees I asked before the trip, she gave good advice about places to see or things to do, her room saved me a lot of money compared to a hotel but without giving up on quality and cleanliness (there's a washing machine !). And being 1 block away from Central Park or the subway is just so nice. Sure that was one of the best part of my trip in NYC !

I'll recommend someone to stay with Stephanie because she is outgoing, driven and easy to get alone with. Staying with Stephanie for a day or two will make you feel like you are at home away from home because she is just that comfortable to be around.
