Central Park North Apt

The host canceled my reservation 8 days before arrival, which for a family with three kids is a catastrophe. Totally irresponsible and inconsiderate host. She didn't respond to our mails prior to us contacting airbnb help line 10 days prior to our stay in N.Y. City and then never excused herself. Airbnb, however, was great and helped. We did find a place in the end which turned out to be the better choice by far!

Stephanie's 112th avenue apartment was a great place to launch our nyc adventure. It is very convenient to the subway ( you could not get any closer) and just an overall great experience. The apartment is in Harlem but it is a safe area. I highly recommend this property and would certainly stay there again.

Stephanie's apartment was a great place to NYC for our visit. It's very clean, comfortable and a short walk to Central Park. We highly recommend it for anyone who wants an uptown location! Stephanie was very helpful and easy to reach. We hope to have her as a host again! Ron & Annika

Vast apartement, closed to many subway lines (Manhattan and even Brooklyn are easy to reach!). Definitely a nice location to discover NY city. We also highly appreciated the surroundings (Harlem, central Park, Columbia Uni) - thanks to Stephanie's advice (in French, please, so eaaasy for us!). We'll come back at Central Park North Apt. Myself and three friends stayed in 112th West appartment in December 2010. Very nice place in a very convenient place. Close to the subway, close to Central Park. The place was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. We had a great time. I highly recommend. Thanks Stephanie!!

Stephanie's apartment was fantastic. The room was absolutely comfortable, the bathroom was impecable and we were not bothered at all by anyone in the house the time we were there. The location was perfect, less than 2 minute walk from two metro stations and less than a minute walk from beautiful central park. Would definitely stay here again!

Le logement est extrêmement confortable, et très bien situé (10 minutes de Times Square avec la ligne 2 de métro/2 minutes à pieds du Nord de Central Park). De plus, la famille de Stéphanie est formidable : très accueillante, elle vous met à l'aise, et est d'une aide précieuse pour les périples New-Yorkais. Pour un prochain séjour, j'y retournerai sans hésiter ! MERCI POUR TOUT !

La Maison d'Art suite is a sanctuary in a busy city. Comfortable bed, big shower and tub (including clean towels), and even a mini-kitchen equiped with a kettle and fridge. The accommodation is nestled inbetween three subways, the furtherest one being a 10 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking I recommend walking from the room to the south end of Central Park, it's a rewarding walk. I felt safe walking around the area and really enjoyed the more relaxed atmosohere of the neighbourhood. Sophie (Stephanie's assistant) was very friendly and helpful, they provided us with a list of places around Harlem to eat and drink. As well as very useful subway and bus maps. We had a wonderful time staying here and when we return to New York would without a doubt stay at La Maison d'Art again.

The place was lovely. And being in Harlem was great. They're close to the B-C trains at 135th. I will stay here again.

We had wonderful time while we were staying at Stephanie's place. The place is very nice, clean and comfortable. The location is good, very close to the subway. I love her family! especially the little boy. strongly recommended! :)

Felt very welcome, comfortable and safe since our arrival. The place was very clean, the bathroom was clean and spacious. The room has a useful big closet and it was very quiet. We could use the kitchen any time in the day to make tea and coffee. Being a block from central park was a real treat. The neighborhood was interesting although there were some streets that looked rough but we didn't have any problems at all. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in Harlem if you want to explore the area. I would definitely come back to stay here and I will recommend it to my friends.

Stephanie made us feel right at home! The week we were there, another couple was renting the room across the hall, but we rarely saw them. My fiance and I spent a week here for multiple different interviews in the city, and we had no problem getting anywhere from this location. There was easy access to multiple subway lines.

Stephanie was a fantastic host and her apartment a wonderful place to rest and recoup after long days of sightseeing! The apartment is in a very handy location, next to a few subway stations and with all facilities within walking distance. We had a great few days in NYC and would recommend Stephanie's place to anyone who wants a cosy, lovely place to visit NYC from. Thank you!!

Stephanie is one of the best and most sophisticated hosts on our site. Each apartment is individually designed and furnished, very clean, and of course, very Chic! Stephanie's rooms are spotless and beautifully hip. A true downtown vibe; uptown and conveniently located. Great price, and the host couldn't be more amenable. I highly recommend a stay.
